Any good mod suggestions for Fallout NV that add more enemies to the Mojave so that it's not boring desert wasteland simulator 2012?
Mo' Monsters will do that if you don't mind shooting lore in the dick, spit-roasting it, eating it, shitting it out and shooting it again.
I've mentioned this when the topic came up to a few friends but never said it here, but since the topic has arisen here I might as well say it.
I have my Fallout 3 modded to hell and back. I have so many mods I think if I add one more gun to the game, it'll reach singularity and collapse in on itself. I have at least 3 mods which modify or add to the Megaton house interior, all working in tandem, along with 4 or 5 overhaul mods that change game mechanics entirely. I have maybe 2 ammo mods working together as well as innumerable things which modify worldspace.
My friends call me a god. I have the magic touch. Mods bend to my will.
And the best part is I don't even know how I do it.
I could probably port MMM to NV if you guys hate Mo'Monsters so much.

So they're putting 28" spinners, a 6' rear spoiler and a 12" diameter exhaust tip on it?
Just fuzzy dice, some decals, and a type R sticker.

Ooh, port it to be compatible with TTW.

That'd work for me. I ran MMM because it added variety to the monsters, more monsters, yet it also more or less followed lore(Wanamingos/floaters aside, but there were plugins to turn them off too). Mo' Monsters...it's a great mod but a lot of what it adds doesn't make a damn bit of sense in Fallout. So I don't use it. Would be right at home in TES though.

...yeeees. A TTW version.
Are the dlcs for fallout 3 and new vegas worth the money? Im going to buy both games but im not sure i want to spend 20 more dollars for dlc.

I'd say that for the most part they are. New Vegas has the stronger DLCs, but the Fallout 3 ones aren't terrible.
Would you be getting the Game of the Year/Ultimate Edition versions of the games, or getting the games and DLC separately?

Probably the Game of the Year/Ultimate Edition versions.
Ever wondered why Boone doesn't ask you to first show him the evidence before he shoots the person responsible for his wife's abduction?
Probably the Game of the Year/Ultimate Edition versions.
i'd say that they're worth it. New Vegas' DLC is top notch all across the board, and Fo3's adds a fairly good amount of content for the price you pay. not 100% certain if you'd really want to get the GOTY version of Fo3 since Mothership Zeta isn't that great, but all the other DLC is pretty solid so for the sake of convenience i'd say go for it.

If you plan on trying to do TTW it's a prerequisite to get the GotY and Ultimate editions, sadly, so you'd be shanghaied into that if you plan on using it. Although I'd still recommend it otherwise, even though Mothership Zeta is a bit eh the other DLCs in Fallout 3 are really good, and the ones in NV are even better.

Besides, it's cheaper to buy the GotY edition than buying all the DLCs except for Zeta anyhow, at least on Steam.

I think he just doesn't care, or he just trusts you for some reason.
Think about it, if the most loved person in your life died and someone offered to help, went away for a bit and came back and said they found the person, would you want to do it?
Probably the Game of the Year/Ultimate Edition versions.
Do so. The DLCs are quite good on their own, and as mentioned you'll need them for Tale of Two Wastelands anyway.

I would agree, at least with regard to boone, on him just not giving a shit. Though, he does ask how you knew who it was..
How does Mo Monsters mess with the lore? Like adding bloodsuckers or stupid shit like that?
If so, what are the plugins to turn those monsters off?

I'm pretty sure it dumps every vaguely monstrous model the dude who made it could find into the game, I remember it having STALKER boars, giant spiders, aliens and T-1000s.

It had basically every STALKER enemy.

Yeah, pretty much. There's some shit that simply does not fit in whatsoever, like walking skeletons and such.
if I were to put a number on it I'd say maybe 30% or so of the monsters in the mod actually fit into the Fallout universe. It's bad enough where even I won't touch it on a lore standpoint and I normally don't care whatsoever about lore-friendliness.

I looked into it and didn't find any at all.
Playing FONV and FO3 at the same time with TTW, doing Anchorage right now Dad is just following me into the sim, using him to take items into the real world later.

About the MMM business, key word is try so don't get your hopes up.
Are there any mods that will make buying fallout 3 worth it? I've completed the game at least 15 times on the xbox over the past 4 or so years and I haven't played it in a long, long time.
I've got NV on xbox (I didn't think my pc could run it, it probably could of) and I play it all the time, but I'm sick of the setting and I've discovered almost everything there is to discover.
