well cos he practically fetishizes history and thinks it inherently gives a greater poetic meaning to everything, he rationalizes the Divide being destroyed by thinking that you were trying to get a grand message across to him - because accepting that you weren't would shatter his entire view of the world. he draws the only available conclusion; that you did it to prove that one man can build a nation, but destroy one just as easily as delivering a package. this leads him to try and build a nation as great as the Divide once was by destroying the current ones - the NCR and Legion. if he didn't follow the message you taught him, he would have to admit that history isn't something to be idolized. and that would mean that he was always wrong, about everything - and the fact that you had no message or meaning to what you did makes you living proof of that. that's why he hates you so much; you and your actions, your message, are a symbol of defiance against everything he stands for. [editline]20th January[/editline] you don't remember because it was just another delivery job for you. you went through the Divide, delivered the package, then left with no idea of what you'd just done - the nukes only activated after you'd gone. it just goes further to prove to Ulysses that he's wrong, and the way that you so casually destroyed the nation you'd built in a way entirely devoid of meaning is what drove him to rationalize it.
or, for short: he's yet another of the long line of F:NV characters who can't let go of the past and interprets it in his own, warped way.
The fun fact about Ulysses is that Obsidian couldn't properly face-gen his model, so they used this workaround: His hair is literally a seperate mask and the mesh of his face., similar to the ghoul mask in Fallout 3.
Creepiest part about him, he didn't even fucking blink.
he's so determined to ruin you and everything you stand for, that his facial muscles[sp]polygons[/sp] won't let him also say what you will about lonesome road, I think it's a great dlc and all, but after hearing that he was originally supposed to be a companion I think I would of preferred that

So all he really did was give Ulysses a great, functioning face.
is it just me or is the courier duster really fucking ugly because of the no sleeves
I got back to Dead Money after leveling up, but it was so god damn boring I left and I dont want to go back and I dont feel the need to. Rate agree if you think I should finish it or disagree if I shouldnt.
is it just me or is the courier duster really fucking ugly because of the no sleeves
it looks like something your average neckbeard would find cool from the 90's blade or matrix movies, we're lucky it didn't have painted flame stripes on it. [editline]20th January 2014[/editline] In other news I think I'm gonna do a Legion playthrough. What is the best way to do this and enjoy the rest of the game? Dress up as NCR or other groups when I want to do other quests?
shoulda made it possible to remove his dreads like they were a wig, cas lets face it, with all that radioactivity around the divide, who's really gonna be able to keep their hair anyway?
Suddenly Ulysses becomes Griffon v2. After playing New Vegas I will always see Desmond as a ghoulified British version of Mr. House
Alright. So I cheated my through the Remnats bunker. (first and last time I cheated) And I couldnt find anything useful. Also any idea how to get their armor?
Alright. So I cheated my through the Remnats bunker. (first and last time I cheated) And I couldnt find anything useful. Also any idea how to get their armor?
You get the armor by completing For Auld Lang Syne quest but you can also find it in the wasteland. Armor can be found at this place and the helmet is located here.

I liked Muggy the most.
Should I ally with the BoS? If I do, will they attack the NCR?
theres an option to make them peaceful toward each other i think
Should I ally with the BoS? If I do, will they attack the NCR?
Yes. Also they dont attack NCR. If your reputation with them is high enough, you can actually get them to join the NCR in the final battle
just make sure you dont replace the McNamara or it won't give you the option (Hardin hates the NCR)
Should I ally with the BoS? If I do, will they attack the NCR?
Keep in mind that the NCR is pretty much what keeps the BoS in check and hiding at the moment. And that is why I have to [sp]eliminate them on the House/Independent route just to keep the roads safe from practically raiders in Power Armor. I am so sorry, Veronica. Even if you are with the Followers of the Apocalypse now. [/sp]
just make sure you dont replace the McNamara or it won't give you the option (Hardin hates the NCR)
i always thought Hardin looked like that guy who tried to get SOPA passed. something something Lamar whatshisface
God damn, I really want to like this ENB, and ENBs in general, but they always have the transparency problem. Unless the thing I'm focusing on is right in front of me, its transparent. Not to mention Transparent first person view. I've tried Omegared99's transparency fix, but it was to no avail. Anyone with ENB experience help me out?
Dead Money was a scary experience for me. I had just bought the New Vegas Complete Pack on a Steam Sale, and my first thing was head directly to see the DLC. It was the middle of the night. All the lights were out. Silence reigned through my house. And then I was suddenly dumped into this creepy dead casino. It was very atmospheric.
I liked Muggy the most.
Muggy creeped me the fuck out. The whole "I have no mug and I must clean" was too much.

I'm going to do a Blues Brothers playthrough, I think I'll dress up Raul as my Blues Brother.
Wasn't someone here making a New York City mod for Fallout 3?
Why are you fucking useless idiots arguing FO3 vs FONV again?!
It's a Fallout thread, dumbass
