I have a great suggestion for an FO3 mod: Give everyone (I mean everyone) in game a hunting rifle and all weapon spawns are replaced by hunting rifles.
the eerie out-of-tune distant music echoes (like at :38) made me uneasy
Those are actually notes from Vera Keyes' "Begin Again" song in the DLC - but from the red cloud and 200 years of aging speakers, they have badly distorted. [editline]20th January 2014[/editline] Dead Money has a fantastic ambient soundtrack though.
Wasn't someone here making a New York City mod for Fallout 3?
I don't know if it was made by anyone here but there is this one. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/7010/? Then there is one for New Vegas http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53343/?
You know at first I really didn't like "Begin Again," but after hearing it the way it was presented in the DLC, it really stuck with me, and for some reason, simply the experience was enough for me to really enjoy the song. Gave me all those weird feelings the DLC gave me after I completed it. I actually ended up buying the song on iTunes because of it. (yeah I could have ripped the song manually but I'm a tool and I like showing my support by buying my music)
New Vegas is a very atmospheric game, but damn, Dead Money's atmosphere was down right terrifying. The Cloud, while an annoying mechanic to some, contributes so much to the feeling of dread and loneliness. And that picture of the Sierra Madre just... standing there... gives me the hibby-jibbies.
so i'm not the only one who uses the begin again song as my radio station, its subtle enough that it makes great background music even on a loop. i just went to the rock n roll hall of fame (it was free today) figured out exactly what music fallout is missing. it needs way more jazz like 30s jazz, and some areas of the game espeacially like the ones building and fighting back the wasteland need to play like 30s era depression music [editline]21st January 2014[/editline] NCR should run radio comercials like this [editline]21st January 2014[/editline] this is kinda how i want the NCR to be portraied, like the New Deal, they represent a new goverment rebuilding the world uniting the world, powering the world, employing people and defending ameri...the NCR!

Stomping around in Enclave remnant armour at level 39, with more stuff stored in my house than the rest of the wasteland's traders combined (only just recently gotten around to emptying it out of obsolete weapons, armour and special ammo that can't be broken down), with Boone packing a fully modded .50 cal sniper rifle and T-51b power armour, (he looked silly with FO3 Enclave armour I had lying about, and the Vault-Tec power armour seems to have no damage resistance, just damage threshold), as well as ED-E complimenting Boone's spotter perk nicely and generally being an extra pack mule. Still getting huge chunks of my health bitten off by various badly-armed raiders and whatnot, with some of them utterly wiping me and the others out; but that's probably AWOP's absurdly well-armed and armoured enemies mingling with the regulars. Only just gotten around to playing some of the DLC, specifically Lonesome Road, and come to the realisation I much much prefer it's version of ED-E.
I just played the smooth jazz from the mysterious radio when Dead Money tried to spook me with ambience music. Personally I find scaring with music to be cheap.
I bought Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout tactics woo. Is that Fallout 2 online thing still popular? It'd be fun to get on there with a FP crew.
it kinda died and was never updated again.
And it was taken over by Slavs so it became another wasteland in itself. To them it was like playing a IRL counterpart of their Ex-Soviet Eastern Europe.

I just need to find a black suit, some fitting sunglasses and a fedora [editline]21st January 2014[/editline] what perks and specials and combat style would be most fitting?
I have done everything I wanted to do in New Vegas. I allied with the Brotherhood, took all the gold from the Sierra Madre, shot up multiple casinos, killed House, maxed out all the skills I wanted, acquired all the perks I wanted, explored all the vaults, and a whole bunch more shit I'm forgetting about. Now what?
Now what?
Finish the game?
Finish the game?
Besides that I mean. Any good mods that add new quests and areas to explore? Something along the lines of this: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42647/?
I've actually been trying to find a mod that tracks all the unmarked quests that I haven't done, I want to complete all the quests in the Mojave but its a bit difficult when you have to manually check the wiki.

Quite hard to explain. And how do I check the boxes or whatever he said to install the mod?
And it was taken over by Slavs so it became another wasteland in itself. To them it was like playing a IRL counterpart of their Ex-Soviet Eastern Europe.
can confirm
"- Check the tick boxes "Area 51 - Project Roswell.esp" and "SpeedyResources.esm"." How do I do that?
Open new vegas on steam and when the launcher shows up, click on Data Files, then tick the boxes.
Open new vegas on steam and when the launcher shows up, click on Data Files, then tick the boxes.
Thanks. But I cant find SpeedyResources.esm though, how do i install that? Fucking great. Now the game crash as soon as I press Play. Think its the mod or what? Somebody help me please.
Anyone know where to find the Armored Businesswear from AWOP (I think it was)? It's not listed on the mod page, but I don't think it could have been any other mod. I'm pretty sure it's not the "Armored Businesswear" mod that a cursory Google search turned up either, because I think I'd have remembered installing that. That and it was on a character in an AWOP location. Something underground, with a Vault-like room, but not a vault.
-Snip- Nevermind, the person below found it.
