I actually think someone should make a freeplay version of Dead Money where your only goal is just to survive. Of course you'd probably need to create more interiors and areas to move around in because it's actually quite small.

Definitely ought to utilize the casino more though, given it's size the interior was lacking though I guess most of the important bits were underground.
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47880/? Modssss.
Thanks, took me a while but I got it downloaded. Does anyone know why the Nexus is running like complete shit right now, actually? It was always slow, but now it doesn't load half the time.
Is Project Brazil worth playing?
The plot is fan fiction quality and the void acting is abysmal ( and it's nowhere near finished) but it's an alright mod. It's good for killing time. [editline]25th January 2014[/editline]
I gotta be honest, loving Dead Money so far. But everyone telling me it's horrible is making me anxious :saddowns:
The gameplay is tedious but the story and loot is the real attracting point of the DLC.

As, after all, the biggest threat next to the radios and ghost people would be the greedy assholes who want the gold in the vault. But i'm dreaming. Oh well.

Most of it is.
Project Brazil is definitely what I would expect from the Nexus.
I tried the mod, it's alright at best. Compared to other mods it's some effort atleast.
Bleh, Fallout 3 and NV have both been making me feel ill whenever I play it. This stinks.
Bleh, Fallout 3 and NV have both been making me feel ill whenever I play it. This stinks.
Pop some Buffout, you'll be fine.
Bleh, Fallout 3 and NV have both been making me feel ill whenever I play it. This stinks.
Is it like, motion or just mental? I can't play vanilla Fallout 3/NV for too long without getting sick because the unnatural color scheme of everything being destroyed, ruined and brown gets to me after awhile, so I use a nice slightly greener grass mod that makes it more like desert and less like ruin. If it's not a motion sickness issue, maybe you could try that?
Not all fanfiction is bad, you know.
No but in Project Brazil's case, your character and all other characters are downright stereotypes that are only re-enforced by the bad voice acting of each character.
Pop some Buffout, you'll be fine.
he's probably addicted to something and by playing fallout he goes into withdrawl. i suggest taking copious doses of medx, mentats, buffout, psycho, rebound, and hydra until you feel better, then take a copious amount of fixer and probably go into rehab
I want to make New Vegas look extremely pretty. Where do I start?
A lot of ENB mods that either end up too bright or over saturated. I'd say pick some high texture mods and that's it.
Woah where did you get that scar mod?
Fallout Character Overhaul. 'Tis not a scar, but half-ghoul.
So, Yesterday I got this mod called Alton, Il, which adds a huge new area to explore, packed with a story. But I got some problems with it. 1) Main menu music plays when clicking on continue and heading in the game. Stops when entering a building. 2) A crash after several minutes of playing when viewing map, local or world, doesn't matter. 3) Effects from the damage intensifying mod don't carry over. I take like 0.0000 something damage from everything, even explosives, even though they send me flying. 4) Some armor is bugged when it's shown on a corpse, like it gets packed together. But it's a great mod, and huge as fuck, downloaded it for like 3 hours.

I can't play my favorite Fallout game without feeling sick and needing to get away for a bit.
Got any neat-looking ENBs to recommend? I can't really seem to decide.
;43674886']Got any neat-looking ENBs to recommend? May heavily depend on the state of your game config, drivers and so on. Please do let me know if you get it looking like his screenshots. you should use 4gb vegas anyway to help with crashing i can't run the game on ultra because of crashing
Not all fanfiction is bad, you know.
99% of fan-fiction is atrocious.
god damn it, can someone upload the FOSE plugin for large address awareness i think that's why my FO3 keeps crashing and of course nexusmods is down for maintenance
;43675488']god damn it, can someone upload the FOSE plugin for large address awareness i think that's why my FO3 keeps crashing and of course nexusmods is down for maintenance
Not sure of a FOSE plugin, but i've got a 4gb launcher thing from the nexus that'll load FOSE if present. Does anyone know of a mod that raises the level cap that actually works?
Does anyone know of a mod that raises the level cap that actually works?
I found 3 that totally uncapped the level limit on the Nexus. Of those, one is totally dead, the other 2 nobody in the comments can seem to get working. I know Nexus commenters are generally not the most intelligent of people (to put it lightly), but that's a pretty grim omen if there doesn't seem to be anyone in the comments not complaining of it not working :/
Hell, it seems to freeze. The game doesn't crash; the visuals and all input just freezes. Ambient audio keeps going and sound effects like explosions finish playing. Any idea what might cause this? I have all DLCs, some visual mods that change textures, lighting and character appearance and then some WH40K mods but that's all I got. I don't even have load order higher than 20.
I've had that happen before, but it usually clears up in less than a minute; the other times the game crashes entirely and the sound loops until I restart the computer. Not sure what might cause the game to freeze completely except for sound. [editline]26th January 2014[/editline] I love the Fallout universe in all it's lore and aesthetic quality, but dear god the engine/dev team they're using should be put down like a crippled horse with bubonic plague.
