Fallout Series Thread V14: When i entered this thread i was hoping there would be more gambling

Play the game normally. You'll meet a dude wearing a wolf's head as a hat pretty early on, in the town of Nipton. Do what he says. Keep playing normally. After you get to Vegas you'll meet Mr Wolf Hat again. Do what he says again. Bam, you're a legionary.

The first half of the main quest pretty much steers you directly into the Legion. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Oh, and don't take Boone or Cass with you as companions. Boone is openly hostile with the Legion and Cass doesn't exactly like them very much.

Also, don't take Veronica or Arcade with you. The former thinks that the Legion is incredibly silly and unfashionable, while the latter would rather fornicate with a cactus than doing anything positive for the Legion.

keep walking along the highway in the direction towards prim, then go around by the time you get to the southest portion of the map you'll start to see a lot of legion fighting with NCR, you can grab a nice set of legion cloths, then find a place called cottonwood cove and talk to the guy with the biggest hat

Finish the Brotherhood quest and join them, then when that one colonel tells you to go deal with them convince her they can be an asset

Be sure not to replace the starting Brotherhood Elder either or ur boned

um the lady at the dam tells you to go deal with them, at that time if you are allied with them you can go into the BoS bunker and tell elder macknamera that the NCR wants to wipe them out, theres a speech check of like 55 or something to convince him to ally with the NCR then you can take that back to the dam and tell them that and they will let it be. this lets you get BoS palidens defending the dam durring the legion's assult which is crazy.

i mean seriously the t-51b power armor could wade through waves of chinese troops armed with old-world munitions, how the hell does the legion stand a chance?

arcade won't even talk to you if you have positive rep with the legion so if you want to do a legion playthrough, get arcade on your side before you go to the legion side

Can anyone do me a big favour? Could they possibly take the vault security armour, remove the kevlar armour and then make it like an accessory over armour that gives you DT+ there are armours and clothing I really like the look of but unfortunately they seem to lead to death a lot more than usual.

If anyone can do this for me or knows of a mod that does, I would be eternally grateful.

Keep in mind it should be Vietnam era, mostly 60s stuff to fit in both with the NCR and what's already in. Stuff like protest songs and things that'd be fitting for a firefight is best.
