Thanks, I plan on tons of more guns and that includes various handgun variety of weaponry.
Expect a few vintage collectible guns too because I had one or two requests for that and rare golden guns are unf.
Gold plated deagle, make it happen. [sp]Make it break after about five mags too[/sp]
favorite gun has to be A Light Shining In Darkness
[editline]29th January 2014[/editline]

I am terrible at modelling from scratch but I've been practicing, once I do become decent hopefully I can start adding more exotic guns to the game.
But I'll try something like this with the ingame content anyway, because I'm an asshole
how well does tale of two worlds wASTELANDS, even though its in alpha?
cause i want to play fallout 3 again, but the lack of the jury rigging perk makes me not want to.

Doom the Eoka will be in it right?
Doom the Eoka will be in it right?
I had a few requests for similar weapons too, but yeah; the Eoka and other various forms of handcannons and hold-out guns will be in.
I can't promise they'll look exact, because as I said my skill is lacking, but I promise I'll get guns very similar; into the game.
I like the BoS because I see them as a necessary evil. THEY HOARD ALL THE COOL SHIT SO BANDITS DONT HAVE IT.
Their grape rations are also sour.
ya and they send you on a potential suicide mission to lightly inhabited vaults that for some reason a guy in full power armor with heavy weaponry couldn't deal with
i mean seriously vault 11 was COMPLETELY EMPTY with just a few rats yet they couldn't get the shit they needed from it?
same for vault 22, lightly populated by things that could easily get pummeled by a power-fist.
now vault 34 i can slightly understand but if they sent like 4-5 paladins at it they would mop up the place with their tech and also they wouldn't have to worry about dealing with NCR or scavangers cas the whole thing is irradiated beyond belief

ya i mean look how much a pain in the ass the fiends were with just a vault filled with laser RCWs
Does killing everyone on-site at the Gun Runners place cause any backlash later?
nope, except possibly the supply mission in camp mccaren because of an NPC associated with the gunrunners that you might kill

Do you mean Tale of Two Wastelands?
If so, it works pretty decently, there are still a few anomalies, but it's playable. The most common thing I've noticed is missing dialogue audio, where some NPCs lack things like exit dialogue. Robots for instance, also don't seem to use their Fallout 3 variations, but curiously enough, when I used a mod that adds more NPCs, that was semi-fixed, but still somewhat unreliable.
I recall there are also still a few erroneous textures and missing meshes, like the Chinese Assault Rifle, but if you look on the forums, there are sometimes mini-fixes people make to certain bugs, so if you keep on the lookout, you might find a fix for a bug you might encounter. There are other changes that might slightly alter your experience, notably things like making most skill books into skill magazines, alterations to the defense statistics of most armour included in Fallout 3, and the lack of .32 ammo entirely - Probably one of the primary gripes I have.
A few bugs, and changes aside, you'll for the most part, be able to play Fallout 3's Capital Wasteland with the changes included in Fallout: New Vegas.
I was going to go for the NCR ending because I'm not on good terms with Caesar's Legion and Mr. House doesn't really care for the BoS...
But the NCR sending a 4-man deathsquad after me because I have a "bad reputation?"
Screw you guys.

It's okay. There's a few issues...first and foremost you need one hell of a computer for the game to get along with loading that much data at once...sometimes FO3 DLCs don't install properly(Last time I played TTW Point Lookout literally didn't exist visually), temporary followers sometimes need console firing before they stop teleporting to your location after each load screen(Sydney in particular did this to me), etc etc. But on the whole it works pretty well and I love it to death.

I dont really think they're evil, more like assholes.

Assholes with really cool shit.

Personally I see their ideals as justified, if the modern world or the world during the great war is any consolation, the majority of people are idiots and would most likely abuse the power in the advanced weapons and armor. Even two of the most major powers in the world ended up abusing their weapons and blowing eachother to hell. Better to keep it locked away and used by only the trained, disiplined individuals in the brotherhood then let some foolish wastelander or raider get their hands on it.
NOt that that really does much of anything useful. Wasters still manage to find enough armor and high-power weapons to fuck each other up six ways from sunday. The BoS can hoard all the plasma rifles in the world it won't make someone who just took a .45/70 to the face any less dead...and if the fiends in West Vegas are anything to go by, the Brotherhood has failed massively at their main goal of keeping advanced weapons out of commoner's hands. It's a rare day I'm shot at by a fiend that isn't using a laser weapon of some sort.
All their power armor is pretty useless, too, as any random asshole with enough caps can pop by Gun Runners and buy an anti-materiel rifle that'll put a third eye hole in a T-51b helmet at 500 yards no problem. So yeah, there's that.
I can understand where they got their mindset, after all they are what's left of a military unit that saw the destruction of the world first-hand. They were literally created while the embers were still smouldering. But by this point they've failed so utterly that they desperately need to change their ways.

Well, to be fair, they haven't exactly been out in full force in Vegas in quite some time. If they could suppress those filthy Fiends with superior numbers and firepower, I'm sure they would.
It's not the fiends they need to suppress, though. It's the NCR. And the NCR has a very steady supply of anti-materiel rifles to supply their snipers with, not to mention enough conscripts to drown an entire BoS chapter. The BoS is simply not going to live for much longer if they continue down the path they're on. Eventually someone's going to decide they need to go. They need to start making some friends pretty quickly, before someone with the right hardware decides they need to go.
Also, uhhh, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the BoS in the Mojave currently extremely understaffed? They don't have superior numbers over much of anything.

If one dude wandering the desert could clean out the vault pretty much single-handedly, why couldn't a squad of power-armored energy-weapon-toting guys do it?
If one dude wandering the desert could clean out the vault pretty much single-handedly, why couldn't a squad of power-armored energy-weapon-toting guys do it?
because they aren't the mc
They are not the chosen ones of the gods Quicksave and Quickload, that's why.

Because that one dude wandering the desert isn't wandering it alone.
Also, it's a Fallout game. It'd be a bit on the silly side if the main character was scarcely more powerful than moronic just-got-power-armor-training faceless paladin #29058389054. That's just not how Fallout games work. Every protagonist in the series has been a demigod.

well yeah he very well could be actually
Could be, but canonically the protagonist usually has at least two people following them around, sooo...

is there a source on this
i've actually never heard this before
Yeah, maybe I'm the minority, but I rarely use companions. They die/muck things up too often for my liking.

I've had "X has died!" popups out of no where and looked around to find them vanished and no enemies near me too often.
And don't get me started on traps, they just flat out don't realise they're there.

As far as I'm aware, companions aren't canonically mentioned as actually being companions - just people who met the main character. Like, Cass met the MC in Vault City at his bar, but there's no solid "Cass went on magical journeys" shit.

Talking to Marcus in Jacobstown confirms that he traveled with the Chosen One. And blew up the Oil Rig with him/her.
So I have a problem, in HH so is there a quest where you are supposed to search for supplies for the Dead Horses, and I'm supposed to find five Lil Scouts lunch boxes, but I only have 4 that I got from before, and I dont see any in there. Help? And yes I took the one in the desk.

I'm pretty sure we were talking about the Mojave, though. There's no canon "The Courier and his companions traveled around and had merry adventures" yet. I'd completely forgotten about Marcus; but then again, anyone who knew what was going on could just say they were tagging along. I never did manage to pull Marcus off of sheriff duty in my playthroughs/didn't have need for them big ol' guns.
