Headshot mod + Damage mod + recoil mod = unf. Feels like one of the best shooters I've played.
I just use Headshots, since it makes sense that armor would negate damage. Except the stuff that removes clothing so it's awkward when you take their armor and a shirt suddenly appears. [editline]31st January 2014[/editline] Also what is does unf. mean in your post?

Posting this thing again because why not: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34921/? Bullets bounce off of tough armor, but rip shirt wearing dudes to shreds. Armor becomes super important.

Hell, I might just do that myself it wouldn't take long Mind you I already did that like 2 years ago, but the mod got deleted when my old nexus account was banned :(
I didn't know there were companions until I did Boone's quest
He was in the pre-release trailers that went public months before the game itself did.
So how stable is that XRE car mod? Consdering how wonky gamebryo is I'm not sure if i wanna try it.
Cars is pretty damn good. Great companion mods include Road Restoration Project, 4GBNV, and this camper van...which, while ridiculously convenient, is hidden on the Nexus at the moment. But srs, if you install Cars, that camper is worth a download.

Grab a decent gun and you can drop anyone before they can drop you. It makes the early stages really intense since its nearly 1 hit kills all around.
He was in the pre-release trailers that went public months before the game itself did.
I didn't actually know about New Vegas' existence until release.
Wearing power armor without a helmet always looked incredibly silly to me.
Especially Enclave power armour, which normally requires the helmet to make it somewhat intimidating, rather than mostly hilarious.
Why does power armor (seemingly in general) have such ridiculously large pauldrons? It seems to me like they'd limit head mobility, and that would be a problem.
why are the helmet tubes exposed? why isn't the armor sloped and angular, like tank armor? obviously these could be somehow explained, but the truth is that very few things actually make sense in fallout power armors. they're just meant to look cool.
FO3/NV armors aren't as cool as FO1/2 though. Giant lumbering metal person vs what looks like a knight from monty python and the holy grail.
FO3/NV armors aren't as cool as FO1/2 though. Giant lumbering metal person vs what looks like a knight from monty python and the holy grail.
Those both sound equally cool.
Is there anything like tesgeneral or skyrimgems for New Vegas? And also, is a full unarmed play viable?
Is there anything like tesgeneral or skyrimgems for New Vegas? And also, is a full unarmed play viable?
As in no weapons at all? Nope.
Is there anything like tesgeneral or skyrimgems for New Vegas? And also, is a full unarmed play viable?
Unarmed is more viable than small guns
As in no weapons at all? Nope.
no like the blasting fist thingies.
Unarmed is more viable than small guns
i generally find that small guns, when maxed is REALLY good. except maybe against death claws and BoS
no like the blasting fist thingies.
Yeah, unarmed weapons are pretty crazy in all the games, only problem is getting in range. Pairs well with explosives too, I've found.
After playing trought the entire fo3 mainquest and doing all the dlc and every other miner quest i could find, I think im done with TTW. I simply cannot go over til new vegas wihile being lvl 26 and having 25k in caps.
You think that's bad? Roam the wasteland enough to where you have 10,000+ Caps and do the Dead Money ending where you keep all the gold.
why isn't the armor sloped and angular, like tank armor?
actually if I recall correctly having curved armor would be so much better than flat, angled armor
actually if I recall correctly having curved armor would be so much better than flat, angled armor
Flat ass chestplates has to be the worse way to got about it, though. All the bullet's energy would be put into the armor.
can someone please explain what project brazil is it looks interesting as fuck and i lived for a long time in san bernardino so itll be cool
can someone please explain what project brazil is it looks interesting as fuck and i lived for a long time in san bernardino so itll be cool
i can explain the whole plot for you, gives you a good idea of what you're in for. very minor spoilers, but i'm tagging them anyways [sp]basically you play as a foobawl player in a vault and he has to date all these anime hair girls. then you go to sleep and have a trippy wet dream. when you wake up your friends fucking explode i guess, then you gotta do something involving the enclave, i guess, but my game glitched out and everyone was fighting me so i killed everybody. also it doesn't take place in brazil.[/sp]
actually if I recall correctly having curved armor would be so much better than flat, angled armor
you could provide a source or an explanation for that. i haven't done any research on power armor, so i dunno which one would really work the best :v:
curved armor deflects bullets while flat armor absorbs all the impact, its just physics. when a bullet hits a curved surface, only a small part of the bullet's vector transfers directly into it the rest doesn't hit exactly on the normal to the surface and is only partially transfered, where as a flat surface, the entire power of the bullet is hitting at the normal to the plate
you could provide a source or an explanation for that. i haven't done any research on power armor, so i dunno which one would really work the best :v:
i'm just basing this off what i know for tank armor - as far as i can remember curved by far deflects more than angled
actually if I recall correctly having curved armor would be so much better than flat, angled armor
unfortunatly to cover a human torso you do need to have some straight bits
