Fallout Series Thread V14: When i entered this thread i was hoping there would be more gambling

9 luck, 9 endurance, 9 int, put the rest in strength, everything else at 1, go straight to Vegas. Gamble in freeside until you get thrown out, gamble in vegas until you're thrown out of all the casinos, buy a stealth boy, steal everything from the Silver Rush, head to the Clinic and the Gun Runners and tool up as needed, at level 1.
I want a mod where I can make everything else 0 while luck is at 40.
ED-E and Boone makes up for the 1 in perception, jet and rebound fixes any lack of AP.
I'll try that out, thank you
You also get +2 strength for finishing Old World blues, take weapon handling and wear power armour and you can use all but the heaviest weapons.

Powergaming 101 with Prof. Nerts
First time playing Honest Hearts, and I really like Zion. It's a great scenery change.

Or install TTW and take "Almost Perfect" at level 30. Then go to DC and scavenge all the SPECIAL bobbleheads.
Bam. All tens. Fuck you blackjack tables!
It would be interesting if the concept for Tactics was updated and amended for a possible NV mod.

I like the idea of this mod a lot
That image really reminds me of Mass Effect 1 when you pause the game to do shit.

wasn't that the entire purpose of vats?

VATS on a melee build is hilarious for Office Space-style murderthon scenes.
[sub][sub][sub]DIE MOTHERFUCKER, DIE MOTHERFUCKER, STILL, FOOL.[/sub][/sub][/sub]
When I install TTW, it keeps telling me something along the lines of "Failed to patch sounds.bsa" or something like that.
I'm actually amazed you can talk to a Khan scout at Quarry Junction about the chip you had stolen if you still haven't bothered going down the main quest.
Earlier I was visited by a group of NCR "Reapers" saying I need to clean up my act with the NCR, So I check my standing with them and it says I'm shunned. The only reason I can think I am is because I worked my way through GI Blues, Going as far as to defuse the ncr showdown with my words. Would that have anything to do with it?

Melee builds in general are hilarious.
CHOO CHOO HERE COMES THE WRECK-YOUR-SHIT TRAIN! NEXT STOP, ANNIHILATION STATION! PASSENGERS, YOUR FACE!

Yeah, it's a known bug with the 2.2a installer. Just manually copy the bsas that error out and ittl work fine.

Nah, VATS was there A: To let console players reliably hit things, B: provide a half-assed turn based mode for the FO1/2 purists, C: Give everyone an 'oh shit!' handle, and D: give them an excuse to make sixty percent of the perks useless to players using a mouse and keyboard to play.
Source: I tried playing FO3 with my 360 pad and VATS felt right at home. But with MKB it feels out of place.
So I was making a mod for Project Brazil but found that it was conflicting with the official Project Nevada - Project Brazil patch. So I asked in the thread if there was any way to fix it so that both the changes from my mod and the PN patch would come in effect.
...This was the answer I got from one user:

Not only is it a huge wall of incomprehensible text, he completely misunderstood what I was asking. He goes off on a tangent about how I should expect problems for trying to mount Project Nevada content onto PB when there's an official patch for PB to mount PN content.
I think I'll wait for a dev to come along.
wow what a cumfaggot
I did a playthrough of both styles in PB. Why does the Nerds suck so much in comparison to the Jock?
I did a playthrough of both styles in PB. Why does the Nerds suck so much in comparison to the Jock?
You kidding? I managed to max out my science after my nerd playthrough in PB.
Helped a bunch.
Jocks can get the same special level as a nerd and have extra special points due to perks the nerd isn't able to gain. I was able to pass any INT, PER, or CHR check and I had above average strength and endurance. I could've focused into science, but I stopped at around 50 and focused on speech (which there really is only one actual speech check in the whole damn first part. sadly)
I'm also pretty sure J.Sawyer's Mod requires all DLCs.
Also, heads up for the PnP folks: the school's coming to an end and my grades are, well, shit, so for the next two weeks or so I'm probably going to pull a Ryan and focus on studying instead of the game.
Find someone to sub for me, don't want y'all to miss games because one person can't play.
Disregard this: I got rid of my math and chemistry problems and got some wiggle room
In other words, I might just be available tonight.
I have some problem with New Vegas, whenever I meet an NPC that's a race other than caucasian, their head is white, like I have not met a single black person yet. Is my game racist or something :v:
wow what a cumfaggot
There's a thread on somethingawful as well as one of the chans that love to go into mod communities and find the worst of people/mods, honestly the admins on nexus are pure comedy where you could just scream copy-right over another mod and cause a shitstorm

Open up Fallout_default.ini (located in your Fallout New Vegas folder) and search for bloadfacegen, then change the value to 1.

Thanks, it worked.
Going to give new vegas another try. Probably not going to bother with mods this time until I get to the end of the game at least once.

I think I'll still download that companion command mod someone showed on another page though. The base companion wheel sucks balls.
So did Project Brazil end up being any good?

It's pretty high quality, but only the first installment is out so far.

Oh they're releasing it in episodes?
