Try the "retro" look, maybe. I know OWB might have taken that for its energy weapon designs (i.e. the LAER, Sonic Emitter) but it's a fairly easy to replicate style, I think.

If you go to Bardon in Hoover Dam, running out of ammo for just about anything becomes very difficult. I always use him to sell the Sierra Madre gold.

well, heres two extremely impractical looking energy weapons that i made in PMG some years ago. maybe they'll provide some ideas

Hey I'm not sure if you're taking weapon requests, but if you are is there any chance you could make an energy shotgun if it's possible? I've always wanted to see a laser / plasma shotgun.

I could run the game fine (except for occasional crashes) with 199 plugins (so,mods.). But 200 plugins broke fucking everything,so I think that's the actual limit.

Yes I plan on taking a look at diversifying energy weapons, they lack pretty much everything. Every laser gun is just a straight beam, every plasma gun is just a blob, with the exceptions being one-offs like the laser minigun or RCW.
You can expect to see energy weapons just as diverse as small guns, ranging from automatics to shotguns to hand cannons to pistols to smgs to etc etc.
You can also expect tons of new modular ammos that will make energy weapons performance differently, because why not?

Now I have a problem. I tested equipping the Battle Rifle (This Machine is the same model basically) and it clips through my back. Any idea how to make it holster further away? It'd be the perfect choice, really.

You can add the Power Armor animation flag to the armor - the problem is, you'll also get kinda wonky leg and arm anims with this (since they're made for the chunky PA, obviously). No other way as far as I know (well, unless you were to edit the gun model, but then it'd be off center when actually held and basically what I'm saying is Gamebryo sucks)

I would have said Springfield seeing as it's an iconic American gun used for 2 world wars. Though I also have a huge bias toward bolt action weapons.

There's also the fact the Garand-lover in me can't unsee the Mini-14's ejected shells being blocked by the scope (though I'd imagine they actually go off to the right, knowing that there's a charging handle on that side and all)
