it does that if you don't use the varmint rifle really.
What are the best body replacer mods for male and female in New Vegas? I want a non-nude, lore friendly one.
Type 3 has a non-nude variant, and the Robert's replacer I'm using has a non-nude AND non-hulk setup.
What

Welcome to the internet, where everything is ruined ten seconds after the internet finds out about it.
non-nude, lore friendly
That's a fuckin tall order there, son.
pretty sure most nude mods come with an underwear option, lore friendliness is another matter though
some of them have versions with dirt-speckled skin, I'm sure
I never saw any issue with the vanilla bodies barring their postures and there's plenty of mods that fix that.
It does annoy me how I'm unable to get tons of cool armor mods without the risk of texture issues because they rely on stuff like type 3 and what not.
I think the Characters are just fine the way they are

Fucking body replacers
I can't play without body replacers. The models are so low quality it bugs the hell out of me.
My main issue with the bodies are that a raider is wearing gimp suit armour and you can clearly see their bare chest/legs and then when you take the armour off they're magically hiding boxers and a top underneath.

I fixed that problem by wearing clothes

They were hiding it in their Pip-Boy like the other thirty thousand things you're carrying, obviously.

That doesn't make sense considering even the Tribals in Honest Hearts pull it off, and they don't know what the hell technology is, and still they manage to magically pull out a shirt for their dead looted corpses.
Come to think of it, I've never seen an NPC in New Vegas having a Pip-Boy so far.....

That one guy in Honest Hearts who has no idea what he's doing and gets his head blown off within three seconds of a fight starting.

And all of the Boomers.
Elijah has one too.
Strangely, despite coming from Vault 34 Chris Haversam doesn't, though.

Actually, the tribals in honest hearts are unique in having entirely different underwear than the default bodies.

Point lookout cultists in the top left are the exception, though - they've got the same undies as everybody else.

you can convince him of that, and actually prevent him from getting his head blown off, by making him cry and run out of the cave before you start. one of the better speech checks of the game
Having more fun with Fallout 1 (just passed Shady Sands) than I ever had with fallout NV. I also ran into some raiders. I took out my trusty smg, burst mode, took them all down while Ian helped. It was...exhilarating! I just feel like you have so much more to lose, with the amount of caps, and the low health points. In fallout NV you can take so much damage, so easy to barter your way to thousands of caps, it's a joke. It's too easy.
What ENBs would you fine fellows recommend?
Millenia's ENB is pretty god tier, if you ask me. Doesn't change much, just gets rid of the monocolor environments.
What ENBs would you fine fellows recommend?
None. The closest I come to an ENB is Fellout. The downsides to using ENBs, coupled with the fact that none of the presets look better than someone shoving a cel shader in the bloom generator's intake port and thus require a time consuming manual configuration, makes them just not worth it IMO.
I fixed that problem by wearing clothes
Those look like ass, too. Also you still end up seeing the shit-tier modelling when you loot armor, as I do since it's usually rather valuable, and some NPCs show quite a bit of 'skin'.
My main issue with the bodies are that a raider is wearing gimp suit armour and you can clearly see their bare chest/legs and then when you take the armour off they're magically hiding boxers and a top underneath.
Indeed. It just doesn't make sense, and it's completely because society is so deathly afraid of a pixellated nipple here and there.
I loot armor if I think I don't have it it my collection. I tend to strip everyone naked and then just use the items to repair each other to reduce weight.
Back in Fallout 3 I started a "Crazy Hoarder" playthrough, I had 10 strength and worse the lightest armour I could find as well as carrying only one weapon. Wherever my character went I would pick up everything I could find, every misc items that usually go ignored would get scooped up and later sold, that's if they had any value obviously.
Early in the game, I took everything from Vault 101, Silver's house and Springvale Elementary and sold it all to Moira in Megaton (I was on a good karma run so I never stole stuff, Megaton remained mostly unhoarded.) Walked out of there at level 3 with nearly 5000 caps, I also did a ton of waiting for Moira to restock obviously but it was worth it.
Well Nexus Mod Manager is saying that ALL of my mods got deleted. What the fuck.
EDIT: Turns out that changing my download area for NMM also doesn't move the mods to that location. Oops

I don't like FOMM though

Another reason not to use NMM it seems.
Am i the only one who doesn't loot armor of people unless it is better/ cooler than mine? I hate it when i come back to a place, and everywhere there is lying around dead naked guys.
Probably. Armor looting is what pays my early game ammo bills so I tend to steal anything worth more than 20 caps. Once i hit level 10 or so the armors are consistently worth 200-500 caps each so it's still worth taking them. Even crappy merc clothes have a reason to be looted, in that I can use them to repair the stuff I'm actually wearing at any one given time. Honestly it stops making fiscal sense to loot armor only after I've cleaned out the casinos, but my current courier only has a luck of 6 so that's not for a long time.
I do draw a line, though. Hobo rags I leave alone. Fuck hobo rags.
Love this guy's series on both TES and Fallout so far!
