The first installment takes place entirely in the vault. You can explore the main wasteland at the end, but don't expect any further progression in the story or any NPCs - it's just solely for exploring purposes. The second installment will be released in June and will add the rest in.
My unarmed and explosives playthrough is surprisingly easy.

so what does a tale of 2 wastelands actually do? is it worth buying fo3 for it or?
so what does a tale of 2 wastelands actually do? is it worth buying fo3 for it or?
combines fo3 and new vegas

sounds pretty badass, ill pick up fo3 then
It is. You also end up a wasteland badass, especially if you take Almost Perfect. All of FO3's OP perks are still there, soo...hehehe
Tonight in... Fallout: PnP Edition: Log 7: EAGLE was Made for Cannonades EAGLE gets a carefully crafted and presumably unstable Orky weapon installed in his chest. Total collateral damage: 1 cabbage stand. http://pastebin.com/y4EEMibb
Yesterday I managed to accidentally clear my entire hard drive without backing it up so I guess I'm starting fresh in FO3 (and everything else). Any lore friendly mod recommendations other than Marts Mutants and FWE I should play through with? Specifically looking for item/weapon additions.

We all (including the gm) get terrible dice rolls I miss like half the session Renaldo wears a dress! And an idea of mine gets put in the game
Not to mention: John goes on a rampage! We all (including the gm) get terrible dice rolls I miss like half the session Renaldo wears a dress! And an idea of mine gets put in the game
My description was way snappier.
man ttw is taking its time! the main installer has frozen up too, still doing stuff though.
yeah it does that. It's copying 7 or 8 gigs of crap from your FO3 folder to your NV folder, and in the process modifying files as necessary to not cause conflicts. It can take a while.
Alright, this might sound like an odd question, but... Is there a mod that either replaces or removes the Caesar's Legion from New Vegas? Of all the things in that game, they're what really kill the Fallout mood for me. I'd like to play some good ol' Fallout without the main protagonists being a bunch of ridiculous idiots who can somehow go toe to toe with the better equipped, organized, and supplied NCR.
Unarmed + Explosives + Sneak = Amazingly Funny OP playthrough.
What's so special about unarmed ? [editline]9th June 2013[/editline] I hate the fallout 3/NV hacking minigame, but NV takes the cake because of the unskippable typing scene after one try. Fuck that.
Because, you punch them to bits.
I hate the fallout 3/NV hacking minigame, but NV takes the cake because of the unskippable typing scene after one try. Fuck that.
Get NVSkies then. The modder behind it misclicked something in the GECK and managed to set the maximum amount of guesses that show up to 1.
So what's this The Armory mod does? Everyone mention it, but never reveal anything about it. I'm asking cause I reinstalled TTW and looking for some good mods.
So what's this The Armory mod does? Everyone mention it, but never reveal anything about it. Christ, a tale of two wastelands takes a long time to install. I think I'm just going to spend ages exploring DC once I've got some good gear. Does anyone know if DC interiors works with TTW?

Also a few questions, do the levelled lists change in TTW? Like do you find low levelled raiders with 9mms instead of 10mms? And are FO3 weapons improved so they fit in with the FO:NV weapons, and do they have ironsights? [editline]9th June 2013[/editline]
There's an official compilation of both DC and NV interiors.
Thanks
Yes and Yes [editline]9th June 2013[/editline] I don't know if the FO3 weapons get weapon mods tho
Can Fallout 3 mods work with TTW? Or is it just the New Vegas ones?
I think they both work. It really makes me wanna buy F3 and F:NV right now on the PC but I am waiting for the steam summer sale
