any kenshiro run should be plain fists unarmed weapons are lame
That mod I listed makes plain fists perfectly viable considering at max level you can punch people's heads off with no effort.
There's a van Graff shop in the Mojave outpost in a fence. What mod added this?
FOOK. It also adds merchants to Camp McCarran, The Thorn and Cottonwood Cove.
I'm sorry, but what does FOOK stand for?
I'm sorry, but what does FOOK stand for?
It's the name of a mod.
I'm sorry, but what does FOOK stand for?
Fallout Overhaul Kit. On another note: I got Classic Perks with Cirosans Classic Overhaul and took High Roller to increase my luck at gambling. However, after some time the perk seems to permanently lock my Luck at 10 and it can't be decremented with player.modav luck -x. Latest comment suggests that using resurrect on the player character fixes this. Any ideas if this is true? There is no IDs for removing perks either.
it stands for 'oh fook, there's merchants everywhere'
Fooking Google it.
' Oh fook, it adds a prostitute to the atomic wrangler who has severed hands on her person. ' [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18318949/2013-02-17_00003.jpg[/t]

I'm dying to play this again. Can y'all recommend any must have mods for a new play through? And what kind of character should I make?
I'm dying to play this again. Can y'all recommend any must have mods for a new play through? And what kind of character should I make?
I've probably repeated myself for the umpteenth time now, but if you like mods that add to the game world and atmosphere than get the following: FNV NPCs Travel - Adds several new NPCs that travel the mojave to add some life. Great if you want something similar to Fo3's random encounters. Better New Vegas - Gives Vegas and other parts of the wasteland a much needed makeover. Actually makes Vegas feel like a city, which is a plus. NPC Project - Probably one of my favourite NV mods of all time; it completely revamps NPCs in certain locations by remaking and adding NPCs while including new and previously cut content. There's a whole series of these so there's a lot to see. That should be a good start.
I'm dying to play this again. Can y'all recommend any must have mods for a new play through? And what kind of character should I make?
luck/agility high everything else low sure, you'll suck in combat but you're 90% more likely to come out without a scratch
it stands for 'oh fook, there's merchants everywhere'
My experience with FOOK in FO3 leads me to believe it stands for "Oh fook the game just crashed again". :v:
luck/agility high everything else low sure, you'll suck in combat but you're 90% more likely to come out without a scratch
High endurance is useful too, since that way you can get Implant GRX.
It'd be so cool if you could get Boxcars as a companion. I fucking loved Boxcars. Sure, he has the foulest mouth in the game. Sure he's evil. But I couldn't ever bring myself to kill him, even if he told me to OD him.
I would've liked to have Victor as a companion if you went pro-house
Father Elijah was right. I took all the gold bars from the Sierra Madre vault. While being overencumbered I sneak around a pillar Father Elijah walks to the vault I quickly (over encumbered so not that quick) walk towards the escalator He turns around and sees me. At that time the blue walls close locking him in the vault area I'm already close to the elevator. He mumbles some stuff about the Sierra Madre, knowing he will die there. I then gambled in the casino until I got banned Found 99% of the loot and changed it for pre war money So yeah, I took Elijahs treasure and it feels good.
Blegh, I hate how all these weapon mods just turn Doc Mitchel's house into some kind of armory instead of placing the weapons into leveled lists and shit.
I've beat all the DLCs and now I just want to horde items and mop up remaining quests at my leisure. Are there any any halfway decent player home mods? Something with lots of storage, nothing given to you, and not a lot of flair? Looking through the nexus most of them look pretty bad...
i always wanted to use sneering imperialist, its a cool perk but since you are SUPPOSED to get on good terms with the tribe i thought it was a bad idea to piss them off, but since the storyline of that dlc is so linear i bet i could slaughter half the place without any problems
How's New Vegas Bounties?
It's one of the most popular mods on the Nexus for a reason. Pretty much any of the quest mods made by Someguy2000 (The Inheritance, Russel etc.) ooze with quality. They have their bugs and flaws but they're fantastic to play through and actually makes effort to seamlessly add the stories in with the lore. I worked with Someguy for his last two mods (One of which he never released.) and he was such a nice guy to talk with. It's a shame he's pretty much detached himself from the modding community now.
My greatest hope for Fallout 4 is a bloody Classic Rock station. I just drove up Highway 95 from Nipton to the Vegas outskirts while America - Horse with No Name blasted. It was magnificent.
Oh right, I've been working on one of those stations, haven't I? You guys aren't breathing down my neck enough, I'll never get this fucker finished :v:
I really want to replay Fallout 3 but I really can't be fucking bothered spending the entire night picking out and installing mods. Fallout: New Vegas it is, I guess.
