They could do a live action movie by just filming a day in detroit
except a more probable percentage of characters would be black
They could do a live action movie by just filming a day in detroit
that's robocop not fallout dude
They could do a live action movie by just filming a day in detroit
But then players would complain as to why the in-game Detroit isn't as horrifying and terrible as the movie.
The south would be a fun place for the next game. Southern hospitality, stereotypes, mountains, and amazing voice actor potential. Is the south ever mentioned?
I don't think so but I'd dearly love a game set in Nashville. Especially the eastern countryside around Nashville, as then I'd be able to roam terrain that's quite literally familiar to me in real life. Also Nashville and Atlanta are MAJOR commerce, transport and military hubs, not to mention simply fucking enormous cities, so there'd be plenty of reasons for A: a game to be there B: The chinese to aim there. Nashville, in particular, is a huge target because anything moving from the west coast to the southern half of the eastern seaboard and vice versa passes through along I-40. And anything going from Atlanta up to the Great Lakes region and back goes through Nashville along I-65.

Along the same lines, I'd love to see a canon representation of what happened with America's largest city, New York. Though, there'd probably be no countryside because everything would be in the hellish city and be horribly linear like D.C. was.
Just tried using WARZONES with Realistics Weapons Damage and Millenia's guns. Then I reached McArran, and hell just pours over as around 50+ Fiends wielding AKs and nade launchers rushes against ~30 NCRs in the rubbles. Barely got out of that thing after around 3 deaths and a bunch of Stimpaks. Feels like the goddamn Black Hawk Down scenario.
I'd like a game set in the middle of (Pre-War) nowhere, Montana or one of the Dakotas say, featuring an entirely new city in a Vault 8/15-type scenario. It would be interesting to see what would happen there, with little or no Pre-War baggage.

Montana, although mentioned as having coal mines and what not in FONV, wouldn't have had such a great time in the Great War. Since we have so many ICBMs here under Malmstrom AFB command we're also one of the prime targets in the entire country. [t]http://www.thesurvivalistblog.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/nuke-targets-48.jpg[/t] Given how compressed some of the distances tend to be in these games there would be plenty to pick through in the surrounding areas of any of the major cities. Yellowstone would make for great DLC territory.

The McCarran warzone extends from that little house south of the ruins and northwest of Repconn HQ all the way to the walls of New Vegas itself. It actually makes places feel like people are fighting.

Yeah Warzones does a good job of actually showing you that there's a war on.
Except it lags my PC
4gb patch is the best shit ever for it.
Some of the custom worldspaces it adds are really, really dodgy and unfinished though.
True, but that doesn't bother me so much when I'm trying to dodge the bullets of 10-15 people at once. Speaking of custom places though, I wandered into a used car lot it added. As expected, the factions started shooting... and blew up one of the cars, which set off another car, and another, in a colossal chain reaction (heh) of atomic hellfire. It was literally raining NPC body parts afterwards.
Since we're at the "next fallout game location" stage again, I'm going to drone on an on about how I want a Seattle game and the Needle should actually be standing and so on and so on and so on
Since we're at the "next fallout game location" stage again, I'm going to drone on an on about how I want a Seattle game and the Needle should actually be standing and so on and so on and so on
I wouldn't mind having Seattle as a location if Portland was at the bottom of the map or included as a DLC.

Cassidy has mentioned the Midwest enough times to have piqued my interest in a game there. [editline]23rd February 2014[/editline] Wait, that's where Tactics is, isn't it?
Yeah, but I don't think tactics had the usual open world rpg feel to it. I didn't play much of it but I think it was more mission based. I wouldn't mind a revisit or retcon of Chicago. The the "radioactive dustbowl" is interesting I'm not sure settlements could even survive.
PN adds a few balanced sets to the game in various locations
Salvaged specifically.
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37235
That's neat, was hoping there would be a unique skin but might settle for that anyways.
The guy wanted to make a version of that same mod with all the faction names actually removed from the outfit but apparently he never got around to doing it, or people opposed it.
I still just want a game in Boston. Survivor 2299 got me really excited for a game in my home city.
I still just want a game in Boston. Survivor 2299 got me really excited for a game in my home city.
And maybe they could do a DLC in my city in Maine. Imagine hunting irradiated moose with your bubguys and wearing plaid all the time.
Meet the Electric Enforcer [t]http://i.imgur.com/yOGanQr.png[/t] Dispensing his brand of radical robot justice through out the wasteland one laser bolt at a time. I wanted to make the exact opposite of my New Vegas character who is a sneering imperialist who don't take no shit and is kind of a dick.
Meet, uh, guy with a gun and a really long coat. [t]http://imgkk.com/i/2ntz.jpg[/t] He shoots bad people. Occasionally. Is that rifle from the classic Fallout pack? It looks slightly different from the one in their screenshots. I know it's from the original games.
Imagine if characters could look like this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/2KR58OX.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/jkdi7a1.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/bXF18bV.jpg[/t] And not awkward gamebryo abominations. Hnngngh
