I'll keep those in mind, but my main intent is to add to the Mojave Outpost and still keep its original atmosphere intact. I don't want to give the entire place a complete makeover and make it look unrecognizable because that just seems wrong to me.
That's the huge pitfall of most location 'redux' mods where they change everything and it just looks unappealing:

This one is a good example of what not to do. That's Nipton.
how do you even pull something that atrocious off
it looks like barbie world fallout style
hot rod pickups? its like the creator never actually looked at tranquility lane as a reference
and whats with those tires
This house doesn't seem to be that bad, but the lighting is pretty annoying. Main floor seems too dark and the basement seems too bright.
It's definitely some sort of Metal Gear Solid 3 mod.
This might be it, can't find much of a link though.

that music sounds a lot like hulk hogan's theme song
i seriously kept watching it waiting for I AM A REAL AMERICAN to start coming out of my speakers
so I entered a casino and my companion lost all the weapons what it had
is there any way to revert this because of those unique weapons it was carrying are lost
without having to load ages old save

Load a save. Save more often. Use CASM and stop relying on Fallout's broken save system.
I save a lot actually. There's just that I somehow didn't notice it until a few hours of gameplay and i just don't want to redo all that.

needs more people staked to palm trees
How big do you guys keep your weapon/armor stashes? One of everything? Just what you carry? A few spares?
I'm at the point where I have so many caps that I just horde things en masse instead of trading. I think I have something like 20-30 10mm pistols for example.

i just carry whatever i need for the mission and leave the rest in containers. i always just keep one copy of each item i've collected.

carry a stick for whacking stuff, a stick for shooting stuff, and a big fuck stick in case i need to destroy stuff
then there are a few extras like that gun that always are in my pack
[editline]25th February 2014[/editline]
i use vault 42 mod which adds a tiny vault next to victor's house in goodsprings to store all my spare armor weapons and stuff

you could probably cheat the unique weapons back in with console commands

On me? As little as possible. In my container? Depending on how long I've playing it varies between "Enough to kit out a small squad of BoS paladins" to "Holy fucking shit you've got enough gear to outfit every soldier in the entire world three times over!".
Damn traders. They always be broke, yo.

By the time I get to New Vegas every playthrough I have to sell everything to the Gun Runners, wait three days, repeat.
Oh... I forgot you can't have Arcade as a follow after you complete For Auld Lang Syne...
The dunwich building is creepy even with the ghoul mask on, fuck.
I was making sure I wasn't crazy when I thought the doors were closing by themselves
Fallout 2 is hard
In fallout 1 you basically win The game if you have power armor and a sniper
in fallout 2 you win the game if you have APA and the gauss rifle
I always had trouble getting into the old Fallouts. Back when I was a kid I watched my dad play a little bit (until my mom made him stop letting us because of the exploding people :v:), but that was my only exposure to the series until Fallout 3. I tried going back to them after I beat New Vegas, and I couldn't get into it and left it to sit in my library for a long while.
A while ago we went to Maine for a few weeks and I needed something to do (we've been going to Boothbay every year for as long as I can remember so I've pretty much done all there is to do there :v:). So I put Fallout 1 on my laptop and convinced myself to get into it. And I did for a while. I played it for some time and I liked it... but I always felt like I was doing something wrong. Like I didn't really know how to play it properly.
Its a shame to admit it, but I never realized just how bad at old games modern gaming has made me. Just now dependent I am on quest logs and trackers... maybe one day I'll give it another shot and actually beat it.

Ween yourself off of quest logs and the like by playing Morrowind. You read descriptions on where to go instead of quest markers.
i try to play through a game series from the start so i can get the experience
hence why i've been loving the shit out of splinter cell
but then again one of the first games i played nonstop was star wars dark forces
Nah Im good with Morrowind
I played that game so much as a kid that even today I'm used to it. For some reason Morrowind gives me no trouble but a lot to older RPGs do.
I dunno. I used to be fine with the way old games do things. I played all my dads games growing up so its not like I learned to play games through the hand holding modern games do, I'm just not used to being dropped in I guess.

Should probably bust out the pen and paper too. Couldn't hurt.

is this the armory part 2?
What is "The Armory"? I've heard it mentioned but I've never seen the mod?
3+ gb of guns with leveled lists

It's a pack of a shitload of weapons, worth the download.
ya but it has a lot of junk weapons too
you can never leave out fluff weapons, no matter how horrible they are
[editline]26th February 2014[/editline]
especially in morrowind since that game is 80% fluff weapons 19% regular weapons and 1% fluff weapons with a typo that then makes it better than every weapon combined
