If you spectate your own birth, doesn't it turn Kate into a charred skeleton? I could have sworn that's the model they use for that section?
I feel like no one has ever played a black dude in fo3 because I have never seen black dad [editline]28th February 2014[/editline] then again, black dads are never there [editline]28th February 2014[/editline] im so sorry
First time I finished the game was with a black dude specialized in explosives. Reminds me of that mod that lets you time travel and you can travel back to your own birth and kill your parents and it creates a time paradox.
just finished watching django unchained. gonna make a character with it, and use the "escaped slave" start I suppose. Stat ideas? I'm tagging small guns and getting agility to 9 for sure. Any more ideas? I use FOWE so I can change how many points i get for the stats if needed.
what about unarmed/melee weapons all that hard work on the farms would leave you with some powerful arms
Possibly some explosives expertise to deal with the collars, too?
Remember how you guys saw my New Vegas? I have another screenshot with the Mobile Truck Mod [t]http://i.imgur.com/486KUE7.jpg[/t]
Final thoughts? The driving feels a bit squishy but it's pretty fun. I only wish i could do drive-by shootings, just to toss some dynamite to those Legion assholes.
I just turned combat damage off. Far as doing drivebys you can buy a pickup truck that lets companions shoot mofo's over the sides of the bed.
Havent tried TTW, does it let you start a new game ala fallout 3, or is it the same -travel between grate, play sidequests- sort of deal?
You start in Vault 101.
Possibly some explosives expertise to deal with the collars, too?
Uh, Django Unchained was in the wild west. His main use of explosives was to shoot them, there were no collars in the 1858-1860.
what about unarmed/melee weapons all that hard work on the farms would leave you with some powerful arms
Not a bad idea, but he doesn't ever use unarmed/melee himself in the movie. I'm thinking Speech, Small Guns, and one of the two you guys suggested then. Nothing else really fits.
You might be overloaded on mods, my game reached a point where it just became unplayable after I had a bunch of mods.
is 44 mods overloaded :v:
No luck. Still crashes constantly or gets stuck loading infinitely.
Do you use NMM or FOMM? Try changing around your load order. You might have a mod that's loaded before another mod that it needs to run. Do you have all DLC? You might have a mod that requires, say, GRA to run, but you don't have GRA installed.
I have 77 active plugins including all DLC's and TTW (Meaning Fallout 3 and all DLC's too). With smaller plugins that only change a few things I combine them using FNVEdit into just 1 plugin to save load order space, I think doing this I have about 20 mods in 1 plugin.
Late to the party here, but... How do I get the mouse to stop being floaty? I've done the fix to get rid of the acceleration but it still doesn't feel right, best way I can describe it is floaty... Is there a way to make it 1:1 with my actual mouse movements? (talking about New Vegas)
is 44 mods overloaded :v:
Can be if those mods have a bajillion plugins. What FNV doesn't like is a high plugin count, not necessarily a high mod count. Ten mods with ten plugins each and 100 mods with one plugin each put the same strain on the engine regarding plugin count. For what it's worth NV can vary wildly. By default Gamebryo games can load 254 plugins(the 255th is reserved for the base .esm that powers the game). FNV is a special little snowflake and likes to get really crashy at a much lower number for fuck all knows why. My game is doing it around.....55-60 plugins right now. Normally I can run up to 80. Typical is 125-150. Some lucky sods have managed to get to 254 plugins without issue. It could also be totally unrelated to plugin count and simply a load order problem or a bad mod. Or mods fighting each other. Or an improperly installed mod. Or Firefox. Or Windows being bitchy. Or a sound codec conflicting(Gamebryo and a rather popular sound codec pack do NOT get along). Hell it could be the positioning of Earth, Mars and Jupiter. There isn't really any telling with this game. The engine underneath New Vegas is widely regarded by pretty much everyone that's ever worked with it save Bethesda themselves as being complete and utter garbage.
Yea, my dad was a ghoul. Holy fuck his face looks like a baby's! And where can I get the J.E Sawyer mod? I'd love to try it. also, fo3 question: If I use the "racist" perk from some perk pack I downloaded on the nexus...but my character is a ghoul from the alternate start provided with FOWE...would the two work together? Would I do more damage vs anything that's not a ghoul? Is ghoul even a "race" in game? I don't want to use the perk if it's good vs everything./
http://fallout.gamepedia.com/JSawyer it's the link on the bottom of the page
Im level 50 so i decided to set difficulity to very hard. It take a few bullets more to kill some enemies and they don't really do a noticable amount of dmg... Except The fucking legion assassins, they keep showing up doing massive dmg and not dying. Last encounter i wasted 10 stimpaks, fuck.
Doing this Redux mod of the Mojave Outpost really exposes how rushed the whole place is. To an absolutely atrocious degree. Most of the NPCs lack AI packages of any kind, so they do absolutely nothing and will stand in one place for the entire game. The interiors of the barracks and HQ are poorly designed too - the window models used actually float a few centimeters off the walls, so you can actually look behind them at the right angle. Ugh. I'm gonna change all that, hopefully. For example, Ranger Ghost finally does her job as a lookout and no longer keeps her back turned to face you forever once you're done talking to her: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/ymTKes.png[/t] She also has a few new ranger buddies for company.
Last time I was in the barracks like 3 NCR troopers were pretty much stuck bumping into eachother around the central storage area.
Ah, Gamebryo. How we love your quirky AI unintelligence.
In paradise falls, the Jotun gets really mad if I go in the barracks sometimes. Like, I walked in one time and was greeted with "I TOLD YOU TO GET OUT" followed by everyone hitting me at once :(
Last time I was in the barracks like 3 NCR troopers were pretty much stuck bumping into eachother around the central storage area.
They don't seem to be able to leave the barracks without the player present. I'll probably streamline the troopers presents and give them more varied behaviour. I've got one in place guarding the barracks who wonders to a few specific points to relax every now and again.
One thing I don't get, is... Does racism only exist towards ghouls? I can't think of a character who hated a whole race that wasn't ghouls. Segregation was strong as hell in the 1950's. haha what the fuck
It's the Pseudo fifties, but it's not actually the fifties. Segregation was no longer a thing in the US by the time the Great War happened. On the other hand, there was certainly a lot of animosity between Americans and the Chinese at the time, and it really shows. Even in present day Fallout, things got even more progressive - the NCR, for all its flaws, has zero sexism and non-mutant racism due to its multicultural origins from Vault 15 and Tandis' extended time as president.

haha what the fuck
I think it's pretty much ghouls and super mutants who are hated, though the Master's and Calculator's attempts at genocide could count as hatred of normals. The Chosen One may very well have become racist after speaking with Lynette.
Is there a way to reproc special points? I fucked up and made my Unarmed character high strength for some reason I can easily remake it, but as I'm done playing for the day it'd be much faster if there was a command or something. I don't wanna adjust FOWE to my liking again, it takes a little bit. Also, what's the best stat distribution for a full unarmed character? I'm thinking high endurance and luck would work best.

I forget FONV and FO3 are separate games sometimes :V Tho I'm assuming that stat distribution works both ways.
