So, I downloaded this weapon mod for NV called "Weapons of the new Millenia". There's a VSS in there but I can't find any ammo for it in shops, what do I do?
Honestly, the whole extinct horses thing is something I would be fine if they just straight-up retconned. I remember reading that tie-in comic for New Vegas, All Roads, and it had this picture of NCR troops riding horses, and I thought that was the coolest image, a post-apocalyptic cavalry division.
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55250/ two gun mods in a day [t]http://puu.sh/7pIqZ.jpg[/t]
This is so damn sexy, I absolutely love all your guns. I gotta wonder though, any chance you ever use that talent for armour/ world textures? As good as your guns are the downside is it makes everything else look like shit :v:
they don't even need to retcon it, with the technology they have they should just breed new horses or some shit 'oh we found a batch of horse dna that was supposed to be for fev testing or something' 'bam new horses, science'
"The Queen has died today. The world mourns, as on days like these, we are all Brits." 4:2 March 19, 2014
If anyone remember, it's next week.

What was that whole Numbers Station thing with FO3? I never looked into it much.
What was that whole Numbers Station thing with FO3? I never looked into it much.
-snip- that. Probably an easter egg
That's my birthday.
What was that whole Numbers Station thing with FO3? For whatever reason, Galaxy News Radio lacked static entirely and Three Dog remained DJ. He spoke in monotone, merely repeating numbers. After a while the numbers were found to convey bizarre messages about the death of various celebrities, some of which have yet to happen. He even got the date of Gary Coleman's death right. Eventually, Three Dog got to the year 2019, and predicted several deaths on the same day. The game crashed before he could get past that day. Further attempts to recreate the bug have failed and the predicted death toll remains unknown.
Or you could say they brought horses from Europe and embarked it on a boat.
shut it loser the science court is in session horses; approved europe; not approved
Horse armor confirmed
Am I the only one who managed to be retarded enough to completely miss the camp with the powerfist girl in FO:NV? Like I played through it, start to finish, without having ANY idea that place or that companion even existed, until a friend started talking about a powerfist companion and I was just like "what the fuck are you talking about"

Tho it's kind of hard to miss, it's near boulder city
I barely ever visited that place, it was very boring tbh Feels like a major trading post would be much bigger.
Everything in New Vegas should be bigger. The Strip should have a lot of hustle and bustle, Freeside should be filled with people trying to scrape by, Boulder City should be more than a couple ruins and a saloon. That's the limitation of New Vegas' crazy hacked together version of Gamebryo and the lack of development time to finish the game properly. On that note, is there a proper restoration project for New Vegas like there was for KOTOR2, or am I better off just trying to cobble something like it together with mods? [editline]10th March 2014[/editline] Except Goodsprings. Goodsprings is exactly as big as it should be.
There were some places that felt just right imo like The Fort or Novac. Hoover Dam could have been more polished though.
I barely ever visited that place, it was very boring tbh Feels like a major trading post would be much bigger. Tho it's kind of hard to miss, it's near boulder city
I went straight north after Boulder City.

There's only one saloon because all the other businesses have moved on to greener pastures. There's tons of mods that try to fix this as well as they could: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48126/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44684/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42602/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42555/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42449/? They're the best mods to get when it comes to revamping the mojave because most other mods of its type are either unpolished (Repopulated Wasteland, Freeside open) or go completely fucking overboard. Is there any way to make the vault tec power armor from PN use Advanced Recons night vision?
oh my god I'm like 90% sure these pool textures are ripped straight from the sims 2 in fact, this entire screenshot looks straight outta some shoddily made sims knockoff
looks like minecraft with those photorealistic textures

So ages ago I got the Fallout 3 DLC for the 360, only just remembered that I did, then I thought I hallusinated, then remembered I did actually get them. So now I'm going to play Fallout 3 again. Not sure what personality my character should have though. Psycho? Suavette? Ice Queen? Naive daddy's girl?
ftfy
Well, I need to create a character with flaws otherwise there's no challenge. What you suggested would just be too easy.
You make it sound like your characters aren't all Mary Sue's
psycho daddy's girl with 36hhh cups
Well, I need to create a character with flaws otherwise there's no challenge. What you suggested would just be too easy.
Try something different. Play as a man.
Only thing I prefer about TES over fallout is the stealth. Even without mods it's satisfying, as when stealthing around in TES the npcs sing, talk, interact with eachother, and have a general area to guard. They do some of this in fallout 3 and nv, but it's not as interesting tbh Hopefully in the next fallout game they improve the interactions of the raiders and such, it'd be cool. Having various named raiders who say new lines would be amazing. There were a few "named" raiders in fallout 3, like the woman who ran the prostitution ring in Evergreen Mills, but she lacked voicelines or anything.
Fallout 3 was actually rather comprehensive when it came to NPC immersion - the problem was a ton of NPCs lacked the essential 'GeneralIdle' faction that would allow them to hum, whistle and do a few idle animations and what not. Even then, most NPCs were able to spark up conversation with oneanother, even if it's just a simple "Hello" "Hey" "Bye" thing. Plus a lot of NPC behaviour is determined by furniture and idle markers that allow them to do stuff like lean against walls, sit down, tend bars and what not. In New Vegas, these features were appallingly under used. Most NPCs weren't able to talk to eachother. (Kings and Brotherhood Soldiers the exception.) and there's one one NPC in the whole game capable of whistling and humming: The cook in Camp McCarran. Just him. Plus a lot of NPCs lacked AI packages, an essential thing needed to allow them to do any kind of idling behaviour or even move. Awhile ago I had this idea of adding additional voice stuff to NPCs such as porting the Fo3 voices for more variety, setting up conversations and so on. It'd be a lot of work and I'd have to find a way to make the mod without actually packing the Fo3 voice files in, lest I receive the wrath of the Nexus mods.
