I installed both Weapon Mod Expanded (WMX) and Weapon Retexture Project (WRP) so I installed the compatibility patch that comes with WMX but suddenly my texture for the .357 revolver is not loading correctly I tried overwriting the files of WRP on top of WMX or the patch's files but it's still not working [t]http://i.imgur.com/eWNk789.jpg[/t] Anyone got an idea what's wrong?
I have this same problem, and I too want to know whats wrong with my game.
if you shot anybody with that they'd probably just be pissed off
It's Fallout NV. Without mods, that already happens.

my personal favorite is when you sneak and punch someone into a bloody pile of goo, and the guards now splattered with their friend's remains just go about their business as if nothing happens [editline]11th March 2014[/editline] at least with the robots shutting them off makes sense.

strange, WMX duplicated some of the weapons for no apparent reason [t]http://i.imgur.com/RiAWKG2.jpg[/t] I might as well uninstall the mod if it's only a few weapon modification for so much trouble :v
Could someone link me that New Vegas NVSE plugin Dynamic First Person View? The mod author took it down for "fixing bugs", but the only thing wrong with it was very minor.

Really immersive. and hard. hard as balls.

Hey, anyone got a mod to make Freeside and other places not so dead? I'm talking more random npcs, more thugs and raiders appearing out of nowhere, etc.
Hey, anyone got a mod to make Freeside and other places not so dead? I'm talking more random npcs, more thugs and raiders appearing out of nowhere, etc.
Try searching New Vegas Uncut series. There's a Freeside open mod that adds more NPCs and no loading areas.
Try searching New Vegas Uncut series. There's a Freeside open mod that adds more NPCs and no loading areas.
Thanks. But what about the wasteland? There should be atleast some people strolling around, caravans and whatnot.
Thanks. But what about the wasteland? There should be atleast some people strolling around, caravans and whatnot.
NPCs Travel.
I have a mod that does that, but I can't remember the name for the life of me. I can check it when I get home. It adds more caravans and travelling adventurers/prospectors/mercenaries/doctors/etc. I remember I was near vault 11 and I saw this traveling scavenger the mod added. First time I saw an NPC from the mod, so it was pretty cool. She had one of those old cowboy hats and a robotic weird eye implant thing. Traded some goods with her and soon as I left the conversation, I hear ED-E's combat music start and the scavenger's head just explodes in my face. I turn around and there was a group of legion assassins attacking. Felt kinda bad for her. Wrong place wrong time.

Are there any mods that add more robot companions? I'd like to have a Mr. Gutsty helping me out. [editline]12th March 2014[/editline]
I have a mod that does that, but I can't remember the name for the life of me. I can check it when I get home. Time to add a shitton of new flavour NPCs to the Mojave Outpost Barracks because it makes no sense for it to be so empty. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/djZK8i.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/IhhQs5.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/lboURx.jpg[/t] Mismatching skin tones because it's not a master file yet. Also: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/iQKuhC.jpg[/t]
Looking forward to it. Anything that makes places more believable is fantastic!
I try. I'm contemplating expanding it into more than just NPCs - maybe add some new services and buildings without completely remodeling the place. Tent for the caravaneers, doctor's office etc. I'm more than open to any suggestions again :v:

You don't meet a good merchant in New Vegas until you reach Novac and talk to Cliff Brosco. Chet can have some okay starting gear and occasionally Lacy has a nice gun, but it's pretty annoying when you can't get a lower level gun to suit your play style. Not asking for anything fancy, just a person that doesn't mainly trade vendor trash and food.
So, uh... http://thesurvivor2299.com/ It's back. [editline]12th March 2014[/editline] Apparently it's for someone's upcoming mod.

The outpost is apparently clogged to the brink with traders and caravaneers, so it's not too ridiculous for one or two of them to have set up shop during the lockdown. I'll probably have three or so dotted around that specialize in specific things. [editline]13th March 2014[/editline] In the mean time, here's some fun things I've learned about the Outpost because I spend too much time in the GECK aaaaagh: -Lacey the bartender has a unique voice type. Well, sort of - it's only shared by 5 other NPCs in the whole game. -Lacey is also the only female NPC you can play Caravan with. -There's unused dialogue packages for Major Knight and Lacey. I guess at some point Obsidian wanted to give them something more to say to the player. There's no dialogue associated with it, though. -It seems like it was originally set up for specific NPCs to sit at the barracks bar, since the NPCs present are linked to certain stools. Its seems to be broken, and the result is that the one caravaneer in the barracks will never move, period. (Now fixed.) -Caravaneers were MEANT to be implemented but it seems half-arsed - there's only one wandering around outside. -The reason why NCR troopers clump around in the barracks is because of a bug in their AI packages - most of them are dictated to sleep there at specific times, but their sandboxing packages dictates that they idle around in their editor location - it's so vaguely defined that they get confused and require player assistance to exit the barracks.
I just hope Fallout 4 has nicer animations, more abilities. better bodies and a decent story. Fallout 3's choices were lame and so was the 2 endings. New Vegas has one of my favorite stories because of the choices. Please Bethesda, don't fuck us
I just want to be able to fix up a car and drive it around like in FO2.
