Does anyone know whether this mod is actually good?
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/19941/?
Its actually a really good companion if you like one that is more than just a walking gun and that will take part in what happens during the main quest, being with you as a child, getting caught by the Enclave as well, etc. The acting isn't horrible either, its not amazing but its better than a lot of custom voices. One thing to take note of though, her default face is very ugly so either change the face yourself or download the replacement.
Is there any mod similar to Project Nevada for Fallout 3 ?
Been a while I didn't play FO3 after overly finishing it vanilla. I wanna have fun with mods now.

FWE is the predecessor to Project Nevada, I'm pretty sure.
oh okay then
my game decided that every black guys in the game should have a white face
i think i fucked up something somewhere
Fucking hell I just arrived at Redding and I still don't have a gun.
I forgot how hard Fallout 2 was.
I keep forgetting Redding in my FO2 playthroughs for some reason
Usually my tactic to get some good loot early in-game is to piss off that guy with a weird accent at the Den and kill him to get his store inventory :v:
xce cars mod is fuckin' bullshit.

Oh yes, insult the mod and its creator because you don't like the physics. Real mature.
Be glad it's there at all. The game engine technically doesn't support wheeled vehicles, yet somehow Ermeso managed to beat it into submission enough to get us running and driving cars. They bear more in common with a simple thruster car in Garry's Mod than they do a real one, but they are running and driving cars.
That's literally about as close as you're going to get to driving without rewriting the entire game engine from scratch.

It's a miracle it even works.

I know text doesn't translate tone of writing and you have no way of knowing with what inflictions i typed that with.
but think for a moment, I would not have taken the time to download and install that mod and all the optional cars if i didn't think it was worthy of my time
I love the the mod, i was fucking hype when i saw it and i was giggling like a tit as i watched the download bar fill up.
So let me type this again for you.

IIRC he uses mini invisible explosions to make them move.

Calling it bullshit implies a very angry, hateful tone whether you meant it to or not.
IIRC he uses mini invisible explosions to make them move.
Guns, actually. It behaves very similarly to a forcer motor powered Garry's Mod car. Everything is very nicely documented, too.
IIRC he uses mini invisible explosions to make them move.
That's super creative
You're barely going to notice the enemies in there. I usually go in there with about 5DT, half the hit points, half the levels, no implants, an AK47, a Mosin-Nagant and an eyebot wearing little more than a few scraps and a fancy little electron headband. Still get through it just fine.
Mercy turned Rawr into spaghetti on very hard mode, the thing is like a one man mobile artillery platoon
Man I hate doing DLC's in TTW because then most of if not all my companions fuck off and I have to go all over DC and NV to get them all back
Use a batch file. I have one called 'retardroundup' that I run whenever I need to round them all up. Basically, what it does:
PRID (BaseID of desired companion)
moveto player
PRID (BaseID of next companion in the list)
moveto player
etc etc. Works a treat when DLC fire scripts throw companions away like that. Or when their AI derps out and they go running off into the distance chasing after nothing.
Anyone out there still playing F3?
is there any mod that removes Laser and plasma weaponry from the game?
is there any mod that removes Laser and plasma weaponry from the game?
Why on earth would you want to?
Anyone out there still playing F3?
Probably, the F3 Nexus keeps getting new mod uploads every once in a while. Most people probably moved on to playing TTW, though (it's so much better)
Why on earth would you want to?
because i dislike every single one of them.
I personally find them beyond ugly and completely useless.
I gleefully let that suicide traveller into the Van Graffs shop in every time

Never heard of it. What's so good about it? Oh yeah right the mod that got banned from the Nexus a long time ago that puts F3 into FNV right?
I play FO3, shits fun
tempted to get ttw tho

Yeah, that's 'bout it. Adds working campfires and scatters skill mags around the Capital Wasteland, too, and the F3 NPCs use the NV leveled lists, so it works almost flawlessly with any NV mods you might have installed and stuff. It's great
check it out here: http://taleoftwowastelands.com/ (you need all DLCs for both games though)

But what if you want to use F3 mods? Like there's a mod that adds more building interiors to the metropolitan DC area.

it has noticable bugs e.g. no dlc music, op super mutants and one totally op ghould type (reaver iirc). still playable though.

You'll be sorry when you have to fight a Mister Gusty or go through the Divide.

The solution to all of your metal and flesh based enemies.
The vanilla BAR is awful. It has one of the worst accuracies in the game.

That's what AP ammo is for.
