Finally got around to finishing New Vegas on a bad playthrough, with alliances to the Legion. Still gotta do the neutral/freelance path now.
The ending is good but fuck the dam battle is crappy. I know Gamebryo is a pretty god-awful engine as far as spectacle goes but fuck, the final battle is filled with low-res effects, stretched-out explosions that clip through everything and models that never load and stay low-poly through the whole thing.

Should you continue on your current save you shouldn't encounter much of a problem...assuming more scripts don't break, anyway. Things were going pretty good until I got stuck in the DC metro, all the doors leading outside were marked "inaccessible". I just coc'd to springvale, and the game seems to be doing fine since.

Having giant mutant spiders in one specific area, like located to a single cave off in some obscure area of the game world would be a nasty surprise. You could even do something where after you clear out the place you find a little nook where some scientist was living (with some appropriate loot), monitoring or potentially experimenting ("Haha, If insects have become unnaturally enlarged I'll take their main predator and enlarge that, saving the world from giant insects once and for all!") on the colony.

All I can find is a mod that makes you shoot both barrels at the same time like the double barrel shotgun, that's it.
You can probably just make one yourself by taking the dual barrel shotgun and removing most of the barrels I assume.

I can make it act like a 2 handed weapon, but the reload is of a Combat Shotgun, and because I am using the RH_Ironsights mod, the gun jumps to the right as I shoot and then jumps back to the middle. I just want those 2 things fixed. I don't know how the 10mm SMG is functional animation wise.

Normally RH Ironsights has some tutorials on how to create weapons that have the proper iron sights animations.

Fuck this mod. One of the things I'm secretly in love with about Fallout's world is that all spiders are dead.
So I'm thinking of using the double-barrel shotguns reload animation for the sawn-off shotgun, how can I make the barrel crack open upon reload on the sawn-off shotgun?

Look at the double-barrel shotgun and see what reload animations it is using and select those same ones for the sawn-off. I'd go into more detail but I don't have Fallout 3 or the GECK installed so I'm just going off of memory.

Alright, I've done that, but the barrel doesn't crack open like it should, the gun stays closed when reloading.

You probably have to manually copy over the animation from the model manually. I could do it for you if I find the time.

I would be eternally thankful to you. In the meantime, I'll try to sort this out by giving it the sawn-off reload somehow. I don't know what animation it is in the animation selection menu.

Just makes the tiny spindly ones babies that rush at you, and the giant ones the type you see as the venom slowly wears off and you realize that you're in a giant web and oh god here it comes out of the shadows.
