Improved Sound FX makes everything better.
Here's a question for y'all:
What is the best New Vegas mod for you THAT ISN'T popular or well known?
My own personal port of Ashur's armor from FO3, where I created an NPC with 200hp, 200% speed, and a ridiculous name and face who was intended to spawn dead just to hold the items.
The punchline comes in the fact the bastard accidentally spawned alive and started chasing after me and smacking my shit at 200mph.
Most of those seem popular.
What are you? Some kind of mod hipster?

Millenia's MBA Gyrojet(This thing is my sidearm until I have access to a 1911), the camper van that's been hidden for some reason, the jetpack, a couple which will remain unnamed because of Facepunch's typical reaction to their subject matter, This dapper-as-fuck suit, partly because it's a dapper-as-fuck pristine suit that makes anybody look like a classy badass, but mostly because the female variant still uses pants and dress shoes instead of a skirt and heels, The bikini from this mod and the companion sandbox mod from a couple years ago.
Also, slightly unrelated, but when I popped onto the nexus for links to the mods I linked, in the 'newly updated' files, there was a strapon. Just...flopped out there. In broad daylight. For all to see. Stay Classy, FNV Nexus.
I think Busworld is easily one of the most underappreciated mods for FO3. Dunno about NV though.

I wasn't being specific enough. I've seen all of these mods before, and I want to know if there are any good ones out there I missed. The only ones I could have possibly missed are ones that are not very popular aka under 50 endorsements and a few thousand views/DLs.
Open Strip is fucking fantastic.
Why have I not gotten this sooner?

I assumed there would be framerate issues, but nope, it works just fine. Same with Open Freeside.
I always wanted to install the Open Strip and Open Freeside mods, but I was afraid they'd break other mods, or that the fiends would wander in and cause problems.
What are you? Some kind of mod hipster?
Most of those are popular though.
OH GOD HOW CAN THIS GET ANY WORSE

Literally just renamed a nif file to "eyebot.nif" and kept the original unnamed one, worked perfectly first time. Didn't even have to move the file.
Model can be found here under "Fixed Up Float Eye": http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41117/?
Just as a word of warning, pissing off the White Gloves isn't smart.

Nor is dropping acid while doing so.

It only leads to bad things.
Okay, so my question to you guys:
I got this shit open in the GECK, how can I go about straight up making some monsters not spawn
From here it's a question of how you want to handle things, you can just outright delete the monsters and the game shouldn't spawn them since there's nothing to spawn, though I don't know how safe that would be, the other option is going through the leveled lists yourself and deleting each reference to the monster, keeping the monsters themselves intact but unused.
I would do this myself but I'm too lazy.

i tried doing this to rid of the "widowmaker" in fallout 3, since it and a few others wouldn't fire. (FWE)
I don't think you see it on other saves, but any save which had it spawn still has it spawn, just as an error. Might not be the same for monsters.
Clearing the leveled list probs would work best.

It still spawns because the leveled lists haven't refreshed, wait in an interior with no NPCs for as long as it would take for everything to respawn and that should stop them from appearing.
Could someone tell me the path to view or make leveled lists in the GECK?
Is anyone here able to draw the Vault Boy? My friend got someone to draw it for his thing but well...

MGS1-era Sneaking Suit, the MGS2 Skull Suit, the bandanna (possibly with a unique version that provides infinite ammo)?

I'm so sorry...
Gonna install TTW, is there a well compiled list of compatible mods? Google has given me just the nearly dead mods forum for TTW.

I meant small simple stuff :v: Not entirely new character models and so on, I'm at best, a mediocre modder.

What are you proficient in? Could you do armor? Genome solder would be cool
What's everyone's opinion on Old World Blues? It's the second DLC I'm doing (did Honest Hearts first) and I think it's kinda awful. I don't understand what's happening, I don't like the setting or the characters and there's so much bullshit unfunny dialogue. The weapons you get are gimmicky and if you, like me, went in to the DLC with like level 10 energy weapons skill you're going to get stomped because you run out of ammo for normal guns after about 30 minutes.
Yeah I've leveled up a lot, I've got some nice armour, and there seems to be a lot of things to do aside from the "main" quest; but I'm really not enjoying it and just want to get it over and done with.
Adding on to this, I've finished it now and will definitely go back and forth now and then to explore the other buildings and whatnot but I'm glad it's over. I found Honest Hearts more enjoyable.
