Yes. You should definitely.
Fallout FIXT just fixes a few problems and restores a couple of cut features, as well as including the high-res patch.
Don't make your strength too low that you can't even pull triggers properly.
The red dot at the bottom lets you switch between Item 1 and Item 2 quickly, use it often.
The skilldex is what you use to pickpocket/repair and other shit.
You need water to travel long distances.
Why can't I just drink my piss? What a dumb game 0/10.

Another tip is that for a first time playthrough, tag small guns, lockpick and speech. It gives for a much easier game. Don't waste time leveling above 100% for skills other than weapon skills.
Oh and probably one of the most useful things about fallout 1, out of combat you will always walk unless you hold shift when clicking for movement, and you run REALLY fast, it's basically your #1 way of skipping through sections of towns and most stuff to get to the point. If you don't use that going from point A to point B even in a small town can become a chore.
Just set it to auto-run in the preferences
It is so strange, that the Legionary Vexilarious(Whatever you call them) wear dinner plates. Those dinner plates never stood a chance again my "Dinner Bell".

My game had really glitched UI in the options and the opening cutscene (basically just that) so I changed nothing in the options, my bad.

Yeah because you didn't have the high-res patch or Fallout FIXT.
Yeah because you didn't have the high-res patch or Fallout FIXT.
Possibly, yeah. Honestly I didn't really spend that much time in fallout 1 and skipped to fallout 2 rather fast. I was simply more interested in that one.
Where are the material paths shown in NifSkope?
Expand the tree of the mesh, you should see something named "BSShaderPPLightingProperty", expand that click on "BSShaderTextureSet", now in block details expand "textures", click the flowers to choose the textures or manually input them.

I'm bringing sexy back.
Thanks for the pro-tips guys.
Are there any mods that change the Pip-Boy 2500 so you hold it like this instead?

One thing Fallout 3 has over Fallout New Vegas is that there's little in the way of exploration to be done around the Mojave compared to DC and the Capital Wasteland.

I loved finding those morse code radio stations and finding a makeshift nuclear shelter full of skeletons and loot. I think there's even one with some dead chinese spies in it.
Alright, currently making a Fallout Mod for Half-Life. Started work on the Security Guards, what should I add to the back? Keep Security or replace it with the Vault's Number?

Yes in fact this is the only argument that is presented by FO3 fans in defense of their game from antagonizing New Vegas fans.

I love how eerie they are without needing to be really dark, using creepy sound effects, or being filled with monsters; just a lone Morse signal and a fallout shelter filled with remnents of the past that died off never leaving their safehaven.
It kind of wierds me out how desensitised to all the skeletons I, and probably other people, get.

To be fair, in an open world game, it's a pretty freaking huge argument.

Fallout 3's exploration isn't really all that great, its better than NV's, but its still pretty boring.

It's an open world RPG, so there needs to be a balance. Fallout 3 is pretty good in terms of exploration and world as there are many things to see and find, but it falls flat on its face in some areas such as skills and general rpg elements. I would say New Vegas does pretty well in terms of this balance, although the world could have more things such as a bigger and more expansive New Vegas Strip. When it comes down to it, player preference comes down to deciding which one is better overall.

While Fallout 3 had a lot of cool locations, they didn't feel that real, and most places didn't have much to do in them.

There's one I really fucking love, it's the one with the guy repeating a distress signal, claiming his kid has a medical condition.
Inside, there's some minor loot and medical miscellanea, some skeletons and the ham radio itself. Curiously missing is the kid's skeleton. That really freaked me out.

I honestly thought that they were still alive, so it really make me freak out when i saw that they were already dead.

I thought the kid's skeleton was in there? Anyway, that one was rather sad.

Yeah, that was a problem with a number of FO3 locations. It was like "Cool, but... is that it?"
Like for example the car fort in the northwest corner, you would have expected something like a desperate group of caravaners or something to be hanging out there, but no.
So I have about 90,000 caps, 36 gold bars, and around 8,000 units of pre-war money. Man, Tale of Two Wastelands almost makes it too easy. It doesn't help that the sierra madre vending machine can fabricate sugar bombs, which I can then sell to that one ghoul in that one place.
How do I fix the seams all over my body with Robert's body?
Speaking of kid skeletons, the skeletons they use in the game have silly scaling, right?
iirc they took a normal skeleton and just scaled it down, so its a fucked up kid with a super small head
10/10
Got Clover as a companion, now the whole game is an escort mission. Might just keep her at the love shack.

I have maxed charisma and speech and this is all my guy can muster?

Which reminds me, I'm going to try FO1 & 2 soon. Is charisma/speech viable in those games?
