And yet we always save our big guns for something 'worth it' and cherry-tap deathclaws to death with 9mm pistols or whathaveyou. Just like how I ALWAYS stat my characters for explosives, ALWAYS carry a ton of grenades, c4, mines, and all other splodey gubbins and never use them because they'll end up blowing up 1/4 of the entire map.

another weird thing happened to me that very day too; i visited Gibsons scrap yard (for some reason the legion assassin groups always meet me there), so i decided to bait them to Helios 1 and the NCR ripped them a new one.
I walk to the El Derado gas station thats near and ANOTHER assassin party greets me after 5 minutes. These guys are more annoying than Talon Company.

I decided to kill some robots outside the New Vegas gate. They never suspected a thing :)
Speaking of karma playthroughs, I think Neutral is by far my favorite. It's flexible, totally doable in Fallout 3, and easily has the best ending of the game where you simply refuse to save a corrupt, shit-filled wasteland by letting Project Purity blow up. It's way less goofy and cartoony than the good ending which feels too optimistic and manages to be even more cynical than the evil ending.
Not to mention that the game gets a lot better when you play as a neutral, opportunistic person who's detached from everything around him because it gives you a lot more liberty in what you do and you can interpret quests in a much more personal way since neutral outcomes are the least described. I mean, hell, on my first playthrough of Fallout 3, I played an overall good character that helped as much people as possible with always the idea of a direct reward at the end or the selfish goal of making things safer for himself, so when I came across the cannibals of meresti, I just decided to slaughter everyone as they were an obvious threat to me and everyone else - even if it meant killing off a lot of people.

-I don't like writing or reading long textposts, but it's to let you guys know what I'm doing/going to do-
Made a simple variant of the Sniper Rifle out of the Gobi Campaign rifle. It has more spread, but it's barely noticeable. And it fires 3 shots at once. Yeah, it eats ammo, but gosh darn, it also kills things three times faster. It's a substistute for FNV not having a burst fire weapon. I call the rifle "Cerberus" It also has a 9 round mag, so you get fire 3 times before you need to reload. Currently thinking of what mods for it.
I've also made the MGS GZ UGARN-5 Less-than-lethal revolver stats-wise, currently using the .44 Mag revolver mesh, fires 5 or 6 pellets, it does 3 damage per pellet, but if you crit, you get the bean-bag effect knocking them right out.
I'm working very slowly, but surely on the mod. I just keep getting new ideas :v:
I might try to go as far as giving the Cerberus 3 actual barrels.

.45 Compact - [HH] ALISD .45 Auto, but moddable with Laser and Silencer
.45 Auto Combat Handgun - [HH] Their .45 Auto that can accept a Laser Sight, Extended mag and the Heavy Duty slide
Spec-Ops Revolver - .357 and 9mm due to moon clips, can have a scope, silencer and "acog"
URGAN-5 LTL - Has it's own LTL .410 caliber ammo
Long Range Grenade Rifle - Heavier Grenade Launcher, longer range, has a scope and much longer barrel. Still uses 40mm

Nightvision goggles - Duh, for seeing during the night
Pentazemin - Increase the guns skills/number of AP points for VATS for a little time (or as suggested on FP, works like Steady and reduces scope-sway)
Flaregun - [LR]uses 12ga caliber, comes with some flare rounds that will works in every other 12 ga gun, is a slow slug that ignites, but does little damage otherwise
Vera? name is WIP - Full-Auto 12ga shotgun that uses box magazines

It was for personal use, and i didn't save the .esp, but all i did was make a separate 40mm ammo type, up the damage, and add the tiny tots nuke effect to it.

I got captured by the super mutants and one of their leaders tortured me and I woke up in a cell. I am level 3 and the super mutants are 1 shotting me with their big laser guns. Did I come here too early? I even went as far as finding a computer room with scientists whom I killed and got a security card in which I can use to blow up the place, but I don't know how to escape without getting 1 hit killed by the mutants[/sp] So the question is really dd I come here too early?

I'd rather avoid having to use NVSE and it's scripting, because I'm not familiar with scripting.

depends, if your sneak skill is high enough then you could try toeing out, and if you get noticed you could leg it in the hopes that your target misses. with enough patience and quicksaving, there's no such thing as "too early"!

54% sneak there's no way I can get around that first super mutant I keep getting 1 hit killed by his laser canon.
Get a powerful gun and use VATS to (hopefully) get a headshot and he will (hopefully) die.

Worst thing I ever did was somehow set the C4 in the Temple of Trials in FO2 to 99999 or something ridiculous like that. Last save was at the beginning so I said fuck it and didn't play the game for a year.

reload a save, the military base is an endgame area (you can sequence break through it but not on your first playthrough)
