Millenia, please do the iconic spas12 shotgun (folded stock)
pretty please with cherries on top.
This is all i have ever wanted.
how do i noscope?
There's a glitch that can prevent enemies from engaging in combat, but that's kind of cheating.
Basically you're fucked. Load a save from before you were captured by the mutants.
maybe with an unfolded version as an attachment or something
just say it's some 'hinge lubricant' to unfold the stock to -20% sway or something

Not sure what I'm going to do about the stock yet, but I'll definitely do a SPAS-12 eventually as these are primarily for a STALKER mod (LURK 1.2) which should have all redone weapons & some new ones as well :v
you're fucked
reload a save, the military base is an endgame area (you can sequence break through it but not on your first playthrough)
Oh damn. I also found a hunting rifle not too long ago and I only have 4 strength. I suppose there's nothing out there that could raise my special?
Now that I mention it, damn couldn't you raise all of your special skills really high in fallout 3 through the perks and bobbleheads?

There's no easy way to boost stats or skills in the older games, if you've got low strength your best bet is power armour and the weapon handling perk (or is that from 2 or Tactics?).

If you don't mind being a filthy immoral cheater, get a save editor and move your character out of Mariposa and back to a lower level town and do some leveling and replace your lost gear.

I think I'm just going to continue from the save in where I tell the ghouls that I will fix their broken water pump. I can't escape this vault the mutants put me in. My only escape option would be to find some way to work the broken elevator, find a way to access the elevator control panel that allows you to go to lower levels, or somehow bypass all of the super mutants.

Load the save, leave necropolis and get a few more levels. preferably level 10.

You could always do a weapon mod for it that unfolds the stock and adds bonus accuracy or something.
Someone made a gun for Fallout 3 that had several options upon equipping it, that's also a possibility.

If you avoided them initially you can take Almost Perfect at level 30 then scavenge the SPECIAL bobbleheads for perfect tens across the board, yeah.
So, after a week of fucking with TTW, it still doesn't want to install properly; but that's probably a NMM issue, and not a TTW issue. Grr...

Time to give up and play Fallout 3 on its own?
But.. but... my signature weapon... :(
[editline]4th April 2014[/editline]
Anyways, this is the error it keeps giving me in NMM:
"A problem occurred during install: Object '*Some shit.rem*' has been disconnected or does not exist at the server. The mod was not installed."
Nightstalkers have possibly the most creative, scary and interesting design out of all the mutated beasts. Damn it feels good to shoot them with OP guns (recharger pistol so OP)
Mildly pissed right now, i want to make a new weapon, in the form of an overloaded fission battery that goes off like a really powerful dirty bomb, but i can't seem to fix the textures on it. I've already extracted the files from the .BSA files, but if i apply the texture while in the weapon's art and sound section, it doesn't actually apply.

I've also spent the last two days trying to get TTW working. From what I read about your problem it's something to do with the filesize being too large, if you're activating the FOMODs. I'm not totally sure what point you're stuck at but if you elaborate a bit more I might have had the same problem.
I could absolutely not get it to work, so I uninstalled both games and reinstalled them to make sure they were 100% clean. Now I got the FOMODs working, but unfortunately this time around I chose to install FO3 and NV into my new harddrive because my old one is almost full. Unfortunately all this did was cause a bunch of dickery, because between Steam, TTW, and NMM they are all fucked up with file directories and apparently steam doesn't like having multiple game directories in the first place. So I'm just getting an application load error. And yes, my load order is fine.
Currently moving New Vegas BACK to the other drive...
[editline]4th April 2014[/editline]
Didn't work!
I think I figured it out. Everything I've read has to do with not using an LAA version of NMM. Going to try in FOMOD with LAA active and see if it fixes the issue.
Well I got my game to run but after playing the Fallout 3 intros it just plops me into Doc Mitchels. Grrrr

In Fallout, some drugs give temporary SPECIAL bonuses, and all their effects stack.
The one which increases STR and END is buffout. They look like green tablets. It's a little expensive to take any drug every time you fight, but if you loot like crazy, you'll be fine.
You can get permanent bonuses towards the end of the game. The ones I can remember are:
[sp]
Power Armour in the Brotherhood Bunker (+3 STR or something huge like that)
Fortune Teller in the Boneyard (+2 LCK)
Various Surgeries in the Brotherhood Bunker (+1 to everything but CHR and LCK)
[/sp]
Fallout 2 only lets drug effects stack once, but it has perks which let you raise SPECIAL directly, and way more opportunities to get permanent boosts.
Interesting... those annoying karma bonuses for killing feinds and ghouls, it seems like if you purposely crippled their limbs before killing them, the karma bonus doesnt happen.
basiclaly seems like *quick and painless death* is the trigger for giving karma, but if you kneecap your oppoenent before killing them you dont get the karma bonus :v:
I don't understand how I gained karma points for [sp]stealing the water chip from the Necropolis ghouls. I guess it's because I found the water chip which I will be using to help my people. I promised the ghouls that I would fix their pump, but whatever I don't want to spend eternity finding a fuse so fuck 'em.[/sp]

Power Armor works for strength.
As an exercise for learning to use the GECK, i am currently working on making a nuclear 40mm round entirely without editing anything. I'm using GRA assets right now, but I'm working on a way to break that dependency. I also am using some assets from CaliberX as well, so i need to extract the files from the main BSA files.
All this extracting and hunting down the right files really makes my head spin, just wish i could use em right out of the BSA.
OK, completed the migration away from GRA and CaliberX assets, and i added a somewhat balanced crafting option for these as well. It's actually really good for a very beginner GECK user. Kinda considering putting a little polish on these and releasing them on the Nexus. I'm sure there's a million other mods that add nuclear grenades, but i actually put several hours of time into this, most of which was extracting BSA files and hunting down the resources to actually make this.
All the Facepunch GECK users should band together and make the ultimate Boxcars companion

I'll be the ideas guy
If I recall correctly, Spork-Juct (that guy with the dvd-rewinder title) made a rather large Facepunch mod for Fo3

I am my own ideas, texture, model, sound AND Geck guy :v:
Which usually doesn't work at all.

Why the fuck would you want boxcars anyway, he's only purpose in the game is for bullets and blunt weapons to find rest in his face,
now, a Jacklyn companion would be awesome, you and her roaming the wastes killing people and stealing star bottle caps.
I'm still waiting for that Arch Dornan companion mod that Compent promised.
Unless I missed it somewhere...

this error happens to pretty much everyone, simple googling should've told you that all you need to do is install it manually rather than with nmm
alternatively there's a large address version of nmm which allows usage of more RAM and shouldn't crash like that when trying to install big mods, but i couldn't find it anywhere

Yes, but I don't really want to install it manually when making NMM LAA is so easy. But, it didn't work and FMM says 'Fuck you, too', so I guess I will have to.
