Does NV have some kinda locational damage? I'm wondering why these tribals can take me down to 1/3rd health in a single shot even though I'm in full condition tesla armor. Or is that something added by TTW?
IIRC headshots have a damage modifier, and there are mods that increase this modifier.
Ultrajet is best jet, no fixer addiction cure = living on the edge
Normal curable jet is for posers, real, hardcore jet addicts take the plunge with Ultrajet
I think headshots doing double damage works on you too, or they may have ungodly high critical hit chances. Or there's more of the "unblockable damage" shenanigans the Super Mutant Overlords and Swamp Folk have.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I'm doing Point Lookout at the moment. I guess I'd better find a helmet.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I'm doing Point Lookout at the moment. I guess I'd better find a helmet.
DT is all over, even if you don't have DT-giving headwear. Unless you've got mods to change that inwhich case there's no reason to shoot anywhere else and many reasons to just always go for the head, which makes armour useless...

Does the DT count against each individual ... shell... pellet... shot, or does it total between how many hit you at once?

Kinda annoyed right now, i was delving a bit deeper into modding and decided to use CaliberX to convert the varmint rifles to .22-250 for a more effective but still balanced weapon. I shortly afterwards noticed that the creator(s) of CaliberX seemed to fuck up several recipes for their ammo types with things like having the wrong primer type, so breaking down a round yields you with the wrong primer. So i've been going through and correcting them all. No big deal, but you'd expect a modder's resource to not have such mundane bugs. But actually, since CaliberX is a master file, i have to fix their fucked recipe values on my own for each .esp i make.
So does Project Brazil have all the story and quests in yet?
I wish drugs on fallout would give you unique speech options or give you visuals
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/201a8C.jpg[/t] Now that's just downright unsettling What the fuck new vegas
Ah I've seen this bug, unlike the usual spawned corpses in many locations around the game, these guys are spawned alive. Of course its rare to encounter them like this because they have laughably low hp and cazadores swarm all over that area they spawn in.
So does Project Brazil have all the story and quests in yet?
I see the X's. Damn.
I already have a working prototype mod, and it kicks ass, but making them buyable would be a little OP, so i've decided to keep them a craft only ammotype.
Mmm, a common frustration that turns many players who don't spend very much time crafting shit away from otherwise kickass mods.

I always save all my drugs for panic moments. Excuse me horde of enemies whilst I freeze time and get really fucked up.
all ever use chems for is just lightweight and expensive loot but they can give you an edge in combat! or i can not suck enough that i would need any in the first place
I wish drugs on fallout would give you unique speech options or give you visuals
That'd be cool, the only drug that does that is the one in the HH quest to kill bears though, and the come down effect. It'd be pretty amusing to take a bunch of drugs and then your hands and weapon suddenly seeming really big, things moving on their own, phantom enemy ticks on the compass, hearing things that aren't there :v: [editline]8th April 2014[/editline]
all ever use chems for is just lightweight and expensive loot but they can give you an edge in combat! or i can not suck enough that i would need any in the first place
Or you can quit being a pussy and crank the difficulty up~
but it doesnt go any higher than highest
hardcore+JE Sawyer's mod

Drug visual mods tend to be really bad because they're just retarded random filters rather than more subtle changes. I mean, something like mentats should just make things look slightly sharper and slow down the game for three seconds after taking it, not fuck up the game's color palette.
wow, i always thought mentats were some kind of mint candy or something but nah, they're medical chem that speeds up your brain now i know why i can get addicted to that
wow, i always thought mentats were some kind of mint candy or something but nah, they're medical chem that speeds up your brain now i know why i can get addicted to that
I always thought it was more like Adderall.

Because, you know, they help you focus.
yeah and healing powder is basically like ket [editline]8th April 2014[/editline] which is funny because the Legion are against chems and carry fuck loads of the stuff

He obviously didn't have broken steel where dogmeat has over 1,000 HP
Repeated use of Cateye should make your character look like the Hackdirts from Oblivion
I've been playing through Lonesome Road again recently, while looking for more ideas and how to use stuff (and procastination) and jeez, that basement in hopeville, by the Marked Men Guard Post or Outpost, that's fucking creepy.
Is this in vanilla NV? I think it was added by a mod but I'm not 100% sure. [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/577892655372064264/2C8CE635365D0E3B7BFBA7DA218D42E5AF66196B/[/t]
He obviously didn't have broken steel where dogmeat has over 1,000 HP
The 13 on her back means she's playing Fallout/Fallout 2. Probably Fallout because of the cathedral.

I had a look at the area around it, it's really poorly made so I'm guessing it's part of a mod. Maybe the Warzones mod...
