replace the broken cabinets, this is a player house nobody likes broken glass
add a back room thats like a garage or something where theres generators, laythes, a still, and the repair/reloading benches, and then maybe add a green-room with some plants possibly

What am I doing wrong?
Fomod tends to crash NV for me, so uninstall/deactivate any mods that use fomod.

I think there's too much.
Maybe it should be a small dingy apartment, to match with the rest of freeside.

Real issue here is that it simply has way too much stuff inside it. Even the Strip's player house has less space and utility than that player home, and that's located in Freeside. Also not a fan of pre-named lockers for items myself, as I sort of want to be able to determine where I store things and not be restricted to certain locations for certain items, or run the risk of having a cabinet labeled "sniper rifles" that I'd place clothing in. It's also in miraculous shape compared to most other locales in Freeside and in Fallout in general, which sets it off because it's just much too clean.
If you want to keep that style, I'd recommend removing a large chunk of the decor that doesn't make sense in terms of the building. For instance, why is there a bar on the second story, yet what appears to be a large foyer with a kitchen next to it as if it were a home, alongside a wall of lockers that appears to be a gym? Kind of get a style going in terms of what that building would have been prior to the bombs, and then design it based on that initial concept. Say you wanted it to be an apartment building:
You'd design it with the idea of it being an apartment in mind; you'd have a foyer with a greeting desk, with perhaps some public restrooms, as well as a stairwell or two up to the upper levels where the apartments are located. If there was a bar in the apartments, it'd be downstairs. There are also no windows in the building, despite there being windows in the outside, so those should be added in the appropriate places. Also ensure that you work on lighting, both in terms of making it look pretty, as well as giving the lights places of proper origin. (lamps, lights, etc.)
While utility is important, don't place utility above aesthetic or lore-friendliness. It's Freeside, and even the bars are a run down mess. If you want it to look nice and pleasing to the eye, you could move it to a different location, or simply add the detail required for it to match Freeside.
All in all, you have a grasp of the GECK, but don't let all the tools (custom container names, tons of neat props) overwhelm you and make you want to add a gaudy amount of unrealistic stuff. (a billboard in the building for example) The hardest part of mapping isn't getting the map together and using the tools, it's knowing how to control the desire to use all of those tools, and to manage a sense of simplicity whilst balancing utility and aesthetics. I'd recommend designing the building from scratch again, using a graph paper or so, based on real apartment/bar designs, and then going from there.

Project Nevada adds it. That sword absolutely fucks shit up, at least it did in my experience.
Also, thinking of getting back into New Vegas, but I was wondering, is there any sort of mod that makes combat intense, headshots pretty much lethal to both player and foe without good helmets, that is done the smart way through scripts instead of directly editing only vanilla armor and weapons? And any sort of new gameplay enhancing mods in general since about November or so if anyone could link those, that'd be rad. Thanks in advance.

Legs should be a head or so taller, arms need to have better defined muscles. Otherwise I'm liking this so far.
If you don't mind, could you post a couple progress shots in this angle?

I'm interested in seeing how it compares.
Oh I forgot to mention two things.
1. I don't get sick playing New Vegas now, yay.
2. Arcade looks cute in an Armored Vault Suit and a Pre War Hat.

Muscles are a definitely to-do since hes supposed to be a super mutant on steroids :v:
I'm building to the specs of a super mutant body though, at the risk of breaking canon, frank horrigans anatomy make absolutely no sense, it's probable that the modeler just eyeballed the body proportions and started with the armor rather than the underlying body anatomy.
The "lurching" pose hasn't been factored in yet either so he may have a more lanky appearance when he's actually rigged
A bunch of tubes coming from under the pauldrons, visibly pumping chems into his arms would be a neat addition IMO

Yeah, I think I'm definitely going to go this route.
I want to match the canon description of him having cyborg qualities, and will have some visible points where armor plates and chem/gas tubes have been grafted into his body

All I can imagine when looking at this is a cacophony of troopers all repeating "When I got this assignment I was hoping there'd be more gambling"
Speaking of the GECK, I've been looking for a voice actor to possible do some dialogue for my mod. Mainly for the doctor I posted before. I've been trying to use as many vanilla voices as possible for variety but there's just not enough at this point.
I'm looking for someone with decent mic quality who could possibly pass off as vanilla VA work. I know that it's probably too much to ask but I'm definitely not desiring distracting shoddy mic quality and what not.

You going to make the ridiculous pauldrons that go along with it, or fine with how the armor is? If you're not, maybe beef up his arms even more now that they've got room to move?

"Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter"
I played New Vegas a lot of the years but never once did I notice this California sign outside of Nipton.
I've been blinded by the story when I first played many years ago. And now I'm coming to terms on the stuff I just past over never really diving into the lore.

I feel as though his arms and shoulders should be a little stretched out. It would be cool if you added some unique stuff like Latin geek said, with the tubes and stuff. Adding a Bane-like frame to Frank wouldn't hurt.
Overall it looks kickass.
Using Millenia's VSS against deathclaws with the Signature weapon mod is so much fun. Such a shame that it's so weak, you'd expect it to hit with a little more force than a Service Rifle, the 9x39 may be a weaker round in energy terms, but it's slower, is larger, and has the innate ability to tumble really easily, which would justify a tweak to the damage. Aside from that, it's very satisfying to pop a deathclaw a few times in the head and see it's eyes go from the Quarry to The Fort.
Hmm, i went into the GECK to beef the VSS up a tiny bit, and somehow, SOMEHOW, all 25 saves i had running were corrupted. I use CASM, and every single save got corrupted.
