I skimmed right over your post :( I don't have the hand loader perk and I usually don't do any sort of ammobench or crafting bench stuff. It's actually really annoying how much ammo it takes to kill super mutants in TTW even with the bullet sponge fix, I'll try your mod out. [editline]13th April 2014[/editline] Installed and activated, I decided to just give myself a few levels to get the perk. I don't see any new ammo types or anything new in the crafting bench.
I should probably put it in the Readme, but you need Hand Loader for the new gun ammo types, you get those from the reloading bench. You need Demolition Expert for the new explosive ammotypes. I'm pondering on a few tweaks to make them a little more AP and less explodey. I can't drop the blast radius any further or it won't register as a hit unless you shoot their feet, Bethbryo is weird like that, putting their explosive radius hitbox at their feet, you'd think it would be in their torso. I just realized that i fucked up and put a "," instead of a "." on the new 12Gauge ammotype, so it won't be near the other 12Gauge ammo in the crafting list, gonna fix this when i release the next update. I might release the next update tomorrow or so, gonna fix some bugs and balance a few things out, the .50MG round is super OP, but is really hard to craft, requiring uncommon materials.

Well don't worry if it seems to stop installing. What the installer does, is turn all of Fallout 3 into a mod for New Vegas.
What the installer does, is turn all of Fallout 3 into a mod for New Vegas.
I notice in the making of custom mods for New Vegas that they actively used some older Fallout 3 content.
Can someone give me a tip or two on weight management in Fallout? I bought the backpack but I don't think that is helping very much. I have lots of 10mm ammo x200 of each is that too much? I also stored some of my stuff in a locker at the Brotherhood of Steel base. It will stay there forever right?
I notice in the making of custom mods for New Vegas that they actively used some older Fallout 3 content.
Yeah they didn't have much time to make the game so they recycled everything they possibly could. If I remember right the trader inventories for all the big DC traders and the caravans are still in the game in NV, since they never had to delete or empty that cell to make room for something Mojave related.
looks like im spending my Sunday in Fallout 3, I prefer it over NV
Is there any way to obtain Zap Glove in game through console? I cant find it in shops. And some shops where it could be found do not refresh their goods (dont know why btw)
In TTW am I suppose to wake up in the Mojave. It was my understanding that I was to start off in Vault 101 not Doc Michelle's House. [editline]13th April 2014[/editline] I think I may have a load order issue.
probably. Did you uninstall all of your mods BEFORE starting the game up?
Strange, that mod i uploaded has seen over 450 views, but only 4 people downloaded it. I figured that you guys might want to try it out and give me some feedback so i can improve on it.
Been playing BL1 lately to catch up on some story stuff for Borderlands the Pre-Sequel and looking for ideas for my mod. Will get it now.

The value for it should read 001FFFF8. That's what mine reads and I start in V101. If it doesn't read that then the ini edits that TTW makes didn't take and you'll need to go through the manual install instructions and make them yourself.

Just type "player.additem 0015ba78 1" (without quote marks) into the console and you should get one in perfect condition in your pipboy.
Playing TTW and get attacked by pack of 4 dogs first bite instantly breaks my leg. I used up my doctors bag I found in Vault 101 before I felt.
playing Old World Blues and GOD DAMMIT THESE ROBOSCORPIONS BOUNCE .357s
playing Old World Blues and GOD DAMMIT THESE ROBOSCORPIONS BOUNCE .357s
apply LAER or spam the sound gun albeit less satisfying
it's a good thing that i play the game in the most boring way possible (by keeping all of my skills around the same level) else i'd be fucked if I relied on Guns
Guns is a bad choice for OWB unless you've got handloader and a mod lets you breakdown and craft all the ammo types.
Or something properly stompy like a .44 or .45/70
does anyone know if someone made a mod that restored the big guns skill in new vegas?
I was watching my brother play owb once He had the pulse gun thing from that one vault, so he just literally walked through melting eveything with zero effort
Anyone ever had problems with random freezes and knows a proper fix for it? I tried that config change for W7 x64, tried to install codecs. Dunno what else to try Fallout 3 btw
does anyone know if someone made a mod that restored the big guns skill in new vegas?
Skills are pretty much hardcoded
Or something properly stompy like a .44 or .45/70
I just stock pile 5.56mm AP, That Gun for up close and All American for further, or .308 and either This Machine or Paciencia for tough stuff.
Skills are pretty much hardcoded
k also, just finished installing fallout 1, 2, and tactics. anything i need to do beforehand so i can play?
Or if your me, use Veronica.
k also, just finished installing fallout 1, 2, and tactics. anything i need to do beforehand so i can play?
The only attributes you really should put points in are Luck and Agility, get fast shot and finesse as traits, and any skill other than lockpick, speech, or a combats skill (except throwing) are completely useless. Also, skills go to 300.

Being able to talk your way through things is even better.
who here is an ideas guy who has modded the fuck out of new vegas and has played every fallout game and wants to spam me with gameplay concepts that are in NV mods that should be in the main game
Goomba stomp enemies while wearing power armor
Normally stomp enemies while wearing power armor. A big fat Dead Space 1 stomp. And a weapon wheel or some other way to switch through all weapons quickly.
