Running out of ideas on what to add to my mod or any improvements, really would appreciate it if people would actually test my mod, 870ish people viewed it, out of those only 20 downloads.
Whats the mod called?
Also I got a random PM from a regular poster on nexus about getting my mods removed for copyright. Not anyone high up, just a regular warning me. Honestly I don't care though, they're my first mods, and I just want people to enjoy them. [editline]15th April 2014[/editline] I've already got 650 views on my Pre War radio. 330 on the 80s. I'm happy.
The guy has a point, though. The Nexus mods are very twitchy about that sort of thing.
There's several radio station mods that have copyrighted music on them. Like Radio Free Wasteland. It has Johnny Cash songs, and those are still under copyright.
The Nexus had a mod taken down that replaced the overpass props in New Vegas to the properly meshed and hitboxed Fallout 3 versions and the Nexus mods took it down because it was content from another game that he didn't have royalties too. It was literally just a fucking overpass.
My newest favourite thing in Fallout New Vegas is giving Veronica eyeglasses.
FO4 needs full clothing customization and companion items customization. I want to give veronica better headgear without needing to mess with the DT of the items and junk :(

Sadly, there's gonna be a lot of "FO4 Needs to X", and none of those things will happen. Decided that 'Zombini Ammo Mod' was boring as shit, so i renamed to "Enhanced eXplosive Armaments", or "EXA". I think it sounds alright, but i want to hear you guys' thoughts on it. Also i added a few screenshots to make the file page a little more interesting.

I have seen several big mods stay on the Nexus (And still are today.) that have had Fo3 content in them and they have never been taken down.
OK, i know i've been going on about my mod, but i find it kinda odd that 950+ people have looked at it, but only 17 have downloaded it. Maybe they find a 4kb modfile to be not worth their time. Damn, if only i could to texturing or modelling in Blender/generic 3D modelling program.
Someone needs to make a mod that makes NPCs less repetitive, lest all I hear is, "Damn, Running low on smokes again"
Someone needs to make a mod that makes NPCs less repetitive, lest all I hear is, "Damn, Running low on smokes again"
But they're always running low on smokes! It's the simple truth!
Why can't you smoke in Fallout? Should act like a chem where you can get addicted, but provides benefits. Maybe +2 Charisma, but -1 Endurance?

Hardly compatibility friendly
Why can't you smoke in Fallout? Should act like a chem where you can get addicted, but provides benefits. Maybe +2 Charisma, but -1 Endurance?
Because smoking is bad.
The smoking probably isn't implented becase the facegen would fuck up how it looks, like the authority glass which look like shit if you have high cheekbones. And the only thing stopping from doing it is that I don't know how to script it so you wear it and get an addiction. Otherwise I could go the mgs route and have it drain hp while giving speech and charisma bonus
Also, Thompsonas, can i get a banner too? Please?
I'm not sure why are you asking me to do this since I'm not a graphic designer nor am I planning to be an artist of any sort, but I did it anyway Larger version here You should probably ask someone who has experience. And I know that imgur is bad at keeping image quality but there was no quality to be found here in the first place.
And Nexus removed my mods. Fuck that place. :c [editline]16th April 2014[/editline] Can't put it on dropbox neither, I got told about the heavy traffic the files got. What now?
Man the music in FO3 is better in my opinion than FONV. Also in TTW I'm finding it hard in hardcore mode to get enough water to surive dehydration. The only way I've really been able to surive is drinking rad water. Because I'm finding so little vendors with water or something that will hydrate my character.
But they're always running low on smokes! It's the simple truth!
In all honesty, im surprised Caps are the currency instead of cigs. Or children.
In all honesty, im surprised Caps are the currency instead of cigs. Or children.
Cigs can break, especially after 200 years, children will eventually grow up, are hard to carry many of and hard to control when they get older. Caps are actually pretty clever.
Actually the idea of having a currency with no real value in a post apocalyptic wasteland is retarded but it's more of a gameplay necessity

What now?
Try mediafire. Dragbody's mod packs were put there and work. There are also some other mod sites that allow mods that normally aren't allowed on the Nexus, much like vgun/fo3u (glad that shithole is gone).
Actually the idea of having a currency with no real value in a post apocalyptic wasteland is retarded but it's more of a gameplay necessity
I remember my very very first time playing Fallout 3, which was my very very first Fallout game. I immediately picked up the Pre-War Money and ignored the caps. :v: Imagine teen me at Craterside Supply, looking dumbfounded when I find I have no money. [editline]16th April 2014[/editline] Also I'll give Mediafire a go when I wake up. For now, those that have the mod downloaded, enjoy it. Those who don't and want to, sorry guys you'll just have to wait a bit.
Actually the idea of having a currency with no real value in a post apocalyptic wasteland is retarded but it's more of a gameplay necessity
the value of caps is that the hub accepts them. the value of money generally comes from the fact that people believe that it's worth something and that someone will accept it.
Someone needs to make a mod that makes NPCs less repetitive, lest all I hear is, "Damn, Running low on smokes again"
Well there was that vocal variety mod I've been sitting on. Speaking of which I've already managed to implement six different raiders voices, three for each gender! It'll probably come up more often than not for most raiders, but I can try and get a few implemented for powder gangers, great khans, legionaries and gomorrah prostitutes aswell. There's also some dialogue I could use for brotherhood NPCs there too, so that works. If this works out, I might go the extra mile and try taking a voice or two out of Skyrim; the ones that would fit in NV, anyway.
I still have limited knowledge how the GECK works for fallout but you modified many of the ammo lists, which means making it incompatible with any mod out there that modifies or add ammo types, including GRA. Hardly compatibility friendly
Works fine with GRA and CaliberX on my end. I get no incompatibilities with an extensive modlist including Millenia's modpack, EVE, and various other mods. You see, the way a load order works is that higher priority mods(or dlc) are loaded first, then the lower profile mods are loaded last and their changes are applied to the game's files. If a weapon uses the stock ammolists, then it will work fine. Some weapons default to their own projectile though, so that's a balance issue. It affects Thump-Thump really badly, and the only way i could fix it was to change the projectile it uses to the standard 40mm round, which makes the long barrel on it pointless.
Give one npc that rarely spawns the "Arrow to the knee" line :v:
