Should I feel bad? I killed a Ghoul named Gallo in F3 just now and stole his Nuka-Cola Collection. Least he answered my shell problem.
I feel really bad when I finish Fallout 2, start a new game, get to the Den and realize I forgot to tell Karl to go back to Modoc.
Is there any way I can tell what my Speech Percentage is? Fallout 3 doesn't tell you what it is. Ever. So I can never tell if I am gonna fail a speech-thing(Unless there is a mod that fixes this, and don't say Tale Of Two Wastelands).
I wonder how a Fallout game would be where you play as a ghoul.
History has set a bad precedent for that.

Fallout 3 does speech checks as follows: it uses your speech skill to determine a percentage which is displayed in the dialogue. It rolls a 100-sided die to determine if you pass. The bad news is that you never really know if you're going to pass, the good news is you can save scrub until you do. [editline]1st May 2014[/editline] Also, I fucked up my game of Fallout 2 real bad. Whenever I load a save it crashes within three seconds of playing and displays an error message. Anyone know how to fix this?
I wonder how a Fallout game would be where you play as a ghoul.
Radiation heals you but 0 charisma and some settlers attack you on sight?
Radiation heals you but 0 charisma and some settlers attack you on sight?
Sounds pretty much the same.
Radiation heals you but 0 charisma and some settlers attack you on sight?
In Tactics they had more perception and luck, but less agility and strength. They gained perks at a slower rate and had certain restrictions/bonuses on available traits and perks.
What about playing as a Super-Mutant?
What about playing as a Super-Mutant?
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Tactics_races Even has dogs.
I should really get around to playing the pre-3 fallouts one of these days.
I should really get around to playing the pre-3 fallouts one of these days.
I certainly think you should. Once you get into them, you get sucked right in and holy shit is it a great ride. Just remember to get the unofficial patches and don't use the wiki for anything at all, it's more fun to figure things out on your own than it is to search for them on the interwebs, even though it's much more difficult.
I'm trying to do a stealthy gunsmith cowboy badass playthrough, but when I try to start New Vegas with the Fake Fullscreen mod's .exe (I also have 4gb fallout installed), I get this message; [t]http://i.imgur.com/dWPlW1h.png[/t] I tried using BOSS but it said there was nothing wrong with my load order. I sifted through it but I couldn't find anything that was missing a master file. Here's my load order. Is there anything glaringly obvious that I missed? [t]http://i.imgur.com/q4eZ8LA.png[/t]
Check manually if you have a master missing, unless you did(I read that as you checked BoSS). At least that is what I did once to fix it.
Download FNVEdit and run it. It should tell you what file is missing a master.
Download FNVEdit and run it. Then I uninstalled all of the WMX DLC compatibility patches in the picture and installed the new merged one, but it still gave me that message. Here's what it says; [00:05] Background Loader: [WMX-EVE-AllDLC.esp] Adding master "HonestHearts.esm" [00:05] Background Loader: [WMX-EVE-AllDLC.esp] Adding master "WMX-HonestHearts.esp" [00:05] Background Loader: [WMX-HonestHearts.esp] Loading file [00:05] Background Loader: Fatal: <EOSError: System Error.
Should I feel bad? I killed a Ghoul named Gallo in F3 just now and stole his Nuka-Cola Collection. Least he answered my shell problem.
hahah, a few months ago i killed him too and made almost the exact same post :v:

If renaming it still doesn't work and it breaks other things then I think I could walk you through on how to change the name of the masters a file requires and get it to accept your current esp.

Apperently all the WMX stuff I had installed was outdated. So I deleted all of that and reinstalled the new versions. The only thing FNVEdit yelled at me for after that was DTOBP-ProjectNevada being above DTO-ProjectNevada. Now I can run the game. Yay! [editline]2nd May 2014[/editline] By the way, is there some way I can change the item slot of an item using the GECK or something? My cigar-chomping cowboy can't have a cigar taped to his balaclava.
By the way, is there some way I can change the item slot of an item using the GECK or something?
Yeah, it's piss easy actually. Open the GECK, open the mod that contains the item you want to change, then change the equipslot for it. Takes like 45 seconds, and 30 of that is loading the damn files.
Anybody know how to create random encounters in the GECK?
I just got New Vegas Ultimate and I was wondering if there was any good mods to help the experience of a first playthrough, like cars or something.
I just got New Vegas Ultimate and I was wondering if there was any good mods to help the experience of a first playthrough, like cars or something.
Play through the game without couriers stash that's it. no mods play vanilla befor you add sprinkles or you end up like this guy: [t]http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110511225503/metro2033/images/6/66/Stalker.jpg[/t] [sp]I know it's not STALKER but I think the name makes it fit anyway[/sp]
How do I not use Couriers Stash?
How do I not use Couriers Stash?
Drop all the shit that the game gives you except the 9mm pistol and Vault Suit. And ammo, obviously. Just throw them into a container in Victor's Shack so you can pick them up later if you want to use them, they're not very good but they make you over powered at the start of the game. Or get a mod that moves the Courier's Stash stuff somewhere else.
I just got New Vegas Ultimate and I was wondering if there was any good mods to help the experience of a first playthrough, like cars or something.
Play it vanilla first. Then go grab XRE - Cars, RRP, and a whole host of other things. Oh, and yes, there is a car mod. XRE - Cars. It more or less does exactly what it says on the tin.
How do I not use Couriers Stash?
open the data files section of the launcher and uncheck *Pack.esm
But that's not Stalker, that's Metro!
But the guy in the picture is a Stalker.
