On the topic of graves, I keep finding alien blasters in just about every grave I dig up in New Vegas :v:
On the topic of graves, I keep finding alien blasters in just about every grave I dig up in New Vegas :v:
How?!
How?!
I think there's a perk from More Perks that adds a very slight chance of finding a rare/unique weapon in a container. Might be something else, but that's why I found stuff like a YCS/186 in a crate.
so mods got it.
In my game, the fire ant queen didn't show up in the fire ant mound. Why?
I killed her in about 1-5 shots with a that Ranger pistol.

I don't remember a Dr. Lesko.

Needless to say that it was a breeze because I found a Combat Knife, Lucky plus ammo and I forget what else.
FISTO had such potential, I really wish we could have more quests with it :v:
I originally though the whole thing with FISTO was going to be more involved. I thought originally thought FISTO was going to be well known for its "unique skills" and you would either have to convince its current pimp/owner to part with it or it was a freelancer that you'd convince to work for whoever(this was prior to me actually playing the game, when I heard the basic premise about FISTO and did not know it was specifically for someone). On a side note, after a 2 and a half year long "break", I've recently reinstalled New Vegas. Something that makes me feel nice is my younger brother is giving it another chance, having ruined the game for himself a few years ago by running console cheats at all times.
I have a sudden urge to make a "spike spiegel" playthrough. Guns, Unarmed, Explosives, Medicine and Repair, I'm guessing?
Has anyone managed to get XRE Cars in DC with TTW? Shouldn't be impossible to do.
Has anyone managed to make the Presidential Metro wearable?
Was playing some fallout 3 earlier, 2 Deathclaws were nearby. I took out one, turn round to get the other...and it flew straight up vertically into the sky and was never seen again. Think that might be the first actual bug I've encountered with the game. It's a shame i couldn't record it.

Alright, so I have a DT of motherfucking 41. Why are the tribe people in Zion one to two shotting me?
Alright, so I have a DT of motherfucking 41. Why are the tribe people in Zion one to two shotting me?
Well, if you're being shot with brush guns, and anti-materiel rifles which have a base damage of 75 and 110 respectively, 41 DT with the way New Vegas handles damage is going to end up negating a negligible amount of that total. Especially if A: those enemies are shooting you in the head for extra pain, and B: If they're also scoring criticals on your head. I don't remember if critical damage ignores your DT, either way that's another 75, or 110 damage on top of the base 110 you're being hit with when it comes to the brush gun or anti-materiel rifle. So.. RIP.

Going for a pacifist diplomatic whore playthrough of FO2. It's really fucking hard. I keep getting ambushed by bandits with rifles and shotguns around Modoc, and i've saveloaded more times than you can count by the time i reached vault city. I have Vic and Sulik, both of whom are pretty much useless in a fight. Kinda thinking about telling Vic to fuck off and grab cassidy instead.

I couldn't breathe due to laughing hard.
I wish T3T would come to this Fallout General. He's always just chillin' in /fog/. A guy in /fog/ is making "Fogton", a town mod that brings the general to life!

Ala super fucking old video games, they made the random encounter timing based on your CPU speed basically so these cpu cores we have now that are hundreds of times more powerful than the ones in 1998 wind up triggering random encounters every 2 seconds, basically. I think F2 restoration project and such take measures to resolve the issue. If that's not the problem, then you might just have really low perception and outdoorsman stats.
Has anyone managed to get XRE Cars in DC with TTW? Shouldn't be impossible to do.
Turn fuel usage, damage and enemy recognition off, use the moveto player console command to import it, done. They work okay. Just don't go anywhere near DC with them. You will get them stuck. A lot. Hell don't even try to drive to Project Purity or the Citadel unless you're damn sure of your four-wheelin' skills. I'm pretty decent at four wheeling so I can drive them all the way to Rivet City, but it's so ridiculously easy to wedge them in that I really don't advise it. And while you can drive it up the ramp and right to the market door, getting them back down that ramp is nigh impossible. Took me three ingame days to bounce my way down. The rest of the Capitol Wasteland is pretty car friendly, though. Well, truck friendly. You may have to bulldoze a few car wrecks around here and there but you can drive to all the quest-important locations just fine. As for leaving fuel on...unless you like making constant trips back and forth to the Mojave to grab gas cans it's not viable. The other alternative is to make a TTW patch for it that plonks gas stations down throughout DC, and that's...not easy. Maybe it's something we can convince Ermeso to do?
That's annoying. When I was around level 20-ish and in T-51 armor I was still getting one shotted by people with basic plasma rifles. I've never once needed any armor whatsoever, and I'm bad at FPS gameplay.
