What engine does Bioshock run on? Something proprietary?
unreal engine 2 or 3 but im p.sure its 2
unreal engine 2 or 3 but im p.sure its 2
No it's 3. Unreal Engine 2 is way, WAY uglier.
No it's 3. Unreal Engine 2 is way, WAY uglier.
well according to this bioshock ran on a heavily altered version of UE 2.5

But at this point it's more or less UE3.
If the engine doesn't have the modability of gamebryo though then its out of the question.
So was the first Mass Effect game, as a matter of fact. But at this point it's more or less UE3.
UE2.5 is pretty much UE 3 with a bit less good stuff in it.
Basically porting it to UE4? Some assets from Bioshock were ported and it looked really fucking good.
Probably just post-processing and lighting, like I said. As long as your models and textures are good, then an easy 50% of the visuals are going to be achieved by having superficially "correct" lighting (that factors in light bounces, environment lighting, occlusion, etc), and post processing to modify the image to add camera/human eye response to the displayed image. Creation engine is easily capable of doing both of those, bethesda is just stubborn/conservative, or unaware that these exist :v:
Ok, got New Vegas installed, so i need some mod recommendations. And some help: the game keeps loading the Courier's Stash and Gun Runners DLC, even disabled. Any ideas?
Ok, got New Vegas installed, so i need some mod recommendations. And some help: the game keeps loading the Courier's Stash and Gun Runners DLC, even disabled. Any ideas?
A world of pain
Ok, got New Vegas installed, so i need some mod recommendations. And some help: the game keeps loading the Courier's Stash and Gun Runners DLC, even disabled. Any ideas?
Keep them enabled, go vanilla for your first run.
Keep them enabled, go vanilla for your first run.
It's not the first run, unless i do the DLCs them it's the first run for them
It's not the first run, unless i do the DLCs them it's the first run for them
Steam says you played half an hour of it so i assumed it was. On that case, i recommend Project Nevada with a weather mod of your choice(preferably one that makes nights darker). Project Nevada adds a lot of neat little things and is nearly entirely customizable, it's something i never play this game without.
The full body awareness mod is pretty great too.
Will a weather mod fuck with TTW specifically the capital wasteland? Or are there any that are compatible or go along pretty nicely with it?
Will a weather mod fuck with TTW specifically the capital wasteland? Or are there any that are compatible or go along pretty nicely with it?
It shouldn't fuck with anything, it just won't work on the D.C. wasteland. As for something that's made for TTW, you might be able to find something like that on their forums, there's a modding section there, i believe.
Yeah thanks, some guy apparently converted Nevada skies to work with TTW

The other one i have most of the story complete. Also i'm looking for some HUDs, ones that reminds the good and old Fallout 1 and 2 vibe you know?
Is there any way to get Mart's Mutant Mod and the New Vegas Monster Mod working together with TTW?

I love it, mostly because the wrist pip-boy ruins the look of your armor.
I have a nice long list of mod I don't wanna fuck with. Is it safe to replace the blood texture with the HD blood mod within the files?
I have a nice long list of mod I don't wanna fuck with. Is it safe to replace the blood texture with the HD blood mod within the files?
As long as it just changes the textures, it shouldn't matter. Texture exclusive mods have no relation to your mods list and esps. Its just a matter of if your system can handle the higher rez textures.
So yeah, to install mods you guys use what?
Its always easy to get good karma in Fallout 3.
Its always easy to get good karma in Fallout 3.
Even easier in New Vegas. Its kind a of a known bug, but killing a Feral Ghoul or a Fiend gives like 1000 Karma or something to that effect. While yeah, there are mods that fix that, its kind of surprising that that never got fixed.
Isn't karma worthless in NV, though?
Is there any way to get Mart's Mutant Mod and the New Vegas Monster Mod working together with TTW?
Yes I am currently running them both. Go to this thread. http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/marts-mutant-mod-stable-conversion However you will have to create a merged patch.
Its always easy to get good karma in Fallout 3.
I once was a character who sold tons of raiders in slavery but did all good quests. So basically 'Three Dog: HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THIS BASTARD WHO SAVED BIG TOWN?'
So yeah, to install mods you guys use what?
I use the Nexus Mod Manager. Almost everything turns into 1 click download. You can also add mod from folders. Be sure to install FNVedit to find any errors in your load order and make a merged patch when you can.
Isn't karma worthless in NV, though?
All karma effects in NV is the ending slides, and if you have very bad karma Cass wont join you. I think Arcade might not join you too, but you get karma for killing ghouls and fiends so you are almost always 'good'.
Isn't karma worthless in NV, though?
almost, it just makes certain followers not like you but hot damn i had some horribly negative karma in f3, not a single follower wanted to travel with me.
Is there anything like AWOP but less buggy?
