but hot damn i had some horribly negative karma in f3, not a single follower wanted to travel with me.
Teach me your secrets
Teach me your secrets
kill and steal everything they really hate you after you nuke megaton, which i am still perplexed by as to how they found out i was involved with it.
kill and steal everything they really hate you after you nuke megaton, which i am still perplexed by as to how they found out i was involved with it.
Trader comes into (lore-wise) busy town. Notices lone wanderer tinkering with bomb. Goes to the bar, notices lone wanderer talking with tennpenny goon. Leaves town. Nuke goes off.
My fallout 3 guy is a guy who regrets blowing up megaton, but he needed the money badly. He blew megaton up, and everytime someone mentions megaton he feels very angry. So I just kill any trader who says "GUESS MEGATON WON'T BE NEEDING THIS ANYMORE", steal all their shit, kill anyone nearby who might have seen, hide his body somewhere, and run off. Otherwise, he's a very nice fellow.
My FO3 character went to megaton. The Tenpenny goon shot the sheriff. I shot the goon, and I stole the Sheriff's stuff.
I rigged the bomb up and killed Tenpenny and Burke when I went to the top of the tower. I like to think I held Megaton hostage. Of course no one will recognize the fact that I can end all of them with the press of a button, so I don't feel really rewarded for my efforts.
I never felt bad killing anyone in Megaton. I usually killed everyone but Moira so she could still sell me things.
All karma effects in NV is the ending slides, and if you have very bad karma Cass wont join you. I think Arcade might not join you too, but you get karma for killing ghouls and fiends so you are almost always 'good'.
ya but like lvl 30's perks reset your karma anyways, plus both sides are completely willing to reset your karma on like 4-5 occasions
Every time before I blow up megaton, I massacre the whole town so I can get alot more bottlecaps
i do always feel better letting the ghouls take over tenpenny tower and killing everyone in it then of course, i kill the ghouls as well.
I really need to do a non lethal run. It's perfectly viable when you have The End's Mosin from MGS3 and the Hushpuppy pistol.
I really need to do a non lethal run. It would probably require a whole lot of animations and scripting though.
The Fury bullets would work because it would just need a frenzy script.

Any good radio mods for NV? listening to the same 10 songs gets old pretty fast
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35061/? Conelrad Radio

Now it begins the hard part: keep ED-E or take Raul? I love this game, also i fucking loved how the difficult on hard went almost insane, it's so cool
Now it begins the hard part: keep ED-E or take Raul? I love this game, also i fucking loved how the difficult on hard went almost insane, it's so cool
Can't you have a non-human companion and a human companion at the same time? I remember having both ED-E and Veronica with me last time I played.
Yeah, you get one non-human companion and one human companion. You can have ED-E and any person, or Rex and any person, but you can't have ED-E and Rex. Unless you get a mod, of course.
Can't you have a non-human companion and a human companion at the same time? I remember having both ED-E and Veronica with me last time I played.
I have Boone already. Also should i do Honest Hearts now i'm lvl 12? Like the companions are going to be back for me later after everything? And it's possible to mod a unique weapon?
not in normal game as the weapons are already "modded" but ya WMX and WME both add back the functionality while keeping the gun's unique flair
Now it begins the hard part: keep ED-E or take Raul? I love this game, also i fucking loved how the difficult on hard went almost insane, it's so cool
just get an unlimited companions mod
I have Boone already. Also should i do Honest Hearts now i'm lvl 12? Like the companions are going to be back for me later after everything? And it's possible to mod a unique weapon?
When you go to any of the DLC areas, any companions you have with you will go back to where they originally were found if not manually dismissed beforehand. Anything you had them carrying should be safe as well with regards to leaving them to go to DLC areas. I can't comment on if you should do Honest Hearts yet as I personally haven't really done it myself yet(Yeah, I had it shortly after it was released. Real life lead to a 3 or so year hiatus from New Vegas, though even though I wasn't playing it I still kept up to date by getting the DLC's when they were released).
I have Boone already. Also should i do Honest Hearts now i'm lvl 12? Like the companions are going to be back for me later after everything? god damn I'm trying to use an ENB but its fucking pointless. If using anything below a certain version, I get this shitty weapon transparancy shit. if using anything above a certain version, AA doesn't want to work

I just eventually installed Nevada Skies instead, I thought it looked as good as an ENB.
I never thought it was worth getting an ENB to work in the end, had the same issues as you.
god damn I'm trying to use an ENB but its fucking pointless. If using anything below a certain version, I get this shitty weapon transparancy shit. if using anything above a certain version, AA doesn't want to work
IIRC there was a mod on the nexus that fixed that, by replacing one of the shaderpackage files. [editline]29th May 2014[/editline]
"in your ini files find bAllow30Shaders=0 and it set to 1, this option will allow (but not force) the use of Shader Model 3.0. This can potentially improve performance when using HDR rendering and will make your ENB mod works properly. You will also need to check your RenderInfo.txt file, found under the same directory as your .ini files, and near the bottom the file check which shader package it uses (e.g. Shader Package : 13). Then go to the \\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Shaders\ folder and rename that particular package to something else (e.g. rename shaderpackage013.sdp to shaderpackage013._bak. Now copy shaderpackage017.sdp and paste it back into the same directory, and rename this new copy to the package name your card uses (e.g. rename it to shaderpackage013.sdp in this example). This will supposedly force Fallout New Vegas to use the Shader Model 3.0 shaders in the game and will allow you to use transparency fix"
There we go.
IIRC there was a mod on the nexus that fixed that, by replacing one of the shaderpackage files. [editline]29th May 2014[/editline] There we go.
Did that and it didn't do shit, so I just gave up on it this combo i've got going on feels better anyway because it still looks good without shitting on the performance
