fallout would not be the same if it was multiplayer, you can't really be the hero anymore and the story can't be as rich in my honest opinion.
I wouldn't want a Fallout MMO, but I still would like to be able to shoot shit up in the wasteland with a friend or two. You don't necessarily need to have a story for MP either - I mean, didn't Red Dead Redemption allow you to explore the world and just raid forts with your pals?
I wouldn't worry too much about a Fallout MMO. ESO has a pretty big budget and it looks like it's going F2P soon. That'll teach Bethesda/Zenimax/whatever to turn everyone's favorite game into an MMO.
I'm starting a new playthrough and I'm playing a down to earth mexican gunslinger type guy who uses laser weapons.

Maybe he is a futuristic augmented mexican pistolero.
Also the name is not mexican enough, needs to be something like Juán "El Grande" Rodriguéz or something like that
In NV,I found Chalk's Headdress and Salt-Upon-Wounds's Helmet
....in Vault 11. :v:
So, the Enclave?
Eh, somewhat. Death to the NCR though.

Hi
I'm just saying that Fallout should keep it's style of leveling. While I prefer TES style leveling to most other things, I think Fallout should be left the way it is since TES style leveling has more problems as opposed to just distributing XP.
Distributing XP gives another level of depth and planning to the gameplay, since you need to economize and plan out what you're going to allocate points to, whereas levelling by doing things doesn't.

Are you using the More Perks mod and as such using the Unexpected Happiness perk? Its a low chance, but that is totally something that can happen because of it. If this was Vanilla/Unmodded though, THAT is a lucky find, i think.

Yeah. I thought the perk was more like ''Oh wow,a minigun in this cabinet!''. Not finding unique DLC items in random metal boxes :v:

I still think they need to work on making sure you never have empty levels, like putting all your points in lockpicking and having no effect. Percentages made sense in the first two games because it affected your chance of success, but in F3 and NV it's just an arbitrary gate on what locks you can and can't pick, or what computers you can and can't hack.

We need Oblivion style lock picking again, the tumblers were the shit, not to mention you could do the hardest ones as a novice.
Within the next few hours, this thread could light up with excitement or stay quiet with disappointment/ apathy.

E3.
Yeah, but the Bethesda unannounced title was some non-fallout game that I immediately dismissed. I'm going to assume that it's not going to be announced. If I'm wrong, I'll be too happy to give a shit.
Bought the NV complete pack for $20 last night.. been having a blast all morning.
Never got a chance to complete the game back when it first came out and I never even touched or saw the DLC. Gonna speed run a godmode character to familiarize myself and then try to do a Hardcore character like I'd always wanted.

Who are you siding with?

The unannounced game is going to be Battlecry though, but I'm still secretly hoping that they only said that to throw us off and are actually planning to show Fallout 4.
Are there any alternate start mods for NV? Sort of like the ones for Skyrim.

Last I saw "death to NCR" was still officially on the Enclave checklist
