Nope.
quick question did anyone, ever, in the history of the universe, take an xp boosting perk this is a sorta serious question and important for game balance
I used to when I was younger.

[editline]8th July 2014[/editline] If you are thinking of putting an XP boosting perk in the PnP rebalance, Don't
It's not, the questions stems from the fact that there's an XP boosting perk in the original rules. An XP boosting perk that boosts XP by 5%. 5 fucking percent for a perk
Is there a trait that lets you get two perks every level? It might be worth it then.
that would be the most over powered trait ever
After Bloody Mess, Jinxed, and Sex Appeal of course.
Imagine if there was a mod where it made the game be able to cast shadows from buildings, rocks, etc. one day
Imagine if there was a mod where it made the game be able to cast shadows from buildings, rocks, etc. one day
Someone did that for Oblivion.
Someone did that for Oblivion.
What's it called?

Probably won't be ported to NV since the guy doesn't own any of the Fallout games and isn't interesting in getting them.
The guy who made Project Reality for New Vegas and Climate of Tamriel for Skyrim devleoped a shadow module for his mod, but he discontinued it for whatever reason. That's sad, really.
Heh, Fallout PnP tonight is our extra-deadly edition. A battle against 4 raiders. One raider with a pipe rifle that fires 10mm rounds goes first. Rolls a 1. Crits. Hits the weakest fucking party member, deals 200% damage. He was at -12 health. So I GM fiated him back to life because that's pretty damn bullshit even if it's hilarious :v: After that the combat with the 4 raiders lasted a while but it was pretty intense and everyone got hurt, but I thought it was fun.

From a 10mm bullet. While I was behind cover.

It still amazes me how bad the nexus site is. Of all the sites I visit regularly a few times a week (about 30), 99% of the downtime I experience is from the nexus.

Has anyone ever had a problem where they are literally unable to move mods up the load order in NMM? [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] like so [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] fuck me i really broke things. I shuffled files after a FO3MasterUpdate and now I cant MasterRestore or Update. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Yeah its because of the master update. Got it all fixed probably. Will still most likely crash like a motherfucker though [editline]9th July 2014[/editline]
GameMode=Fallout3 Fallout3.esm=1 Anchorage.esm=1 BrokenSteel.esm=1 ThePitt.esm=1 PointLookout.esm=1 Zeta.esm=1 CRAFT.esm=1 CALIBR.esm=1 DCInteriors_ComboEdition.esm=1 RH_IRONSIGHTS.esm=1 FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm=1 Mart's Mutant Mod.esm=1 DarNifiedUIF3.esp=1 BoS Diversification.esp=1 CrowdedCities_v2.esp=1 Dragonskin Tactical Outfit.esp=1 DragonskinBonusPack.esp=1 Dree Perks.esp=1 Dree Perks Broken Steel.esp=1 Dree Perks Mothership Zeta.esp=1 Dree Perks Point Lookout.esp=1 Dree Perks Pitts.esp=1 Dree Perks Requested by Fans .esp=1 Dree Perks Anchorage.esp=1 RH_IronSights_Basic_AnchoragePlugin.esp=1 RH_IronSights_Basic_PittPlugin.esp=1 RH_IronSights_Pitt_NewRifleSights.esp=1 RH_IronSights_PL_NewItems.esp=1 RH_IronSights_Basic_ZetaPlugin.esp=1 RH_IronSights_Basic_BrokenSteelPlugin.esp=1 RH_IronSights_Basic_PointLookoutPlugin.esp=1 RH_IronSights_Basic_VanillaPlugin.esp=1 RH_IronSights_RemoveReticule.esp=1 Rivet City Merchants With Point Lookout.esp=1 UPP - Beverage Perks.esp=1 UPP - Experience Perks.esp=1 UPP - Pack 1.esp=1 UPP - Pack 2.esp=1 UPP - Quest Perks.esp=1 WastelandMastery.esp=1 FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp=1 FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp=1 FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.esp=1 FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1 FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1 FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.esp=1 WeaponModKits.esp=1 WeaponModKits - OperationAnchorage.esp=1 WeaponModKits - FWE Master Release.esp=1 WeaponModKits - ThePitt.esp=1 WeaponModKits - BrokenSteel.esp=1 WeaponModKits - PointLookout.esp=1 WeaponModKits - Zeta.esp=1 Mart's Mutant Mod.esp=1 Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.esp=1 Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.esp=1 Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1 Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1 Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.esp=1 Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + DLCs.esp=1 MergedFive.esp=1
Okay, no clue whats causing a crash as I [del]enter the sewers[/del] do pretty much anything. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Cleaned my save with this too. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18747/? [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Lets get real. Perk packs aren't crashing my game. Its not ironsights. FWE, WMK, and MMM are all installed correctly as far as I'm aware. I'm very confused. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] I have of course done this fix to the ini as well http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1328904
Why don't you use BOSS? It beats moving mods manually in your load order.
Why don't you use BOSS? It beats moving mods manually in your load order.
Hm,, I don't usually use BOSS or things like it but I'll give it a shot. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Oh and because I don't trust it. I don't trust the machines. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Ran BOSS, let it do its thing. Reconfigured my load order. Loaded up my save. Opened door to Sewer Waystation. Crash. If I walk around in the Wasteland I will usually crash within a minute. I may try a fresh save but I have 5/6 hours on this character already. I don't know whats going on.

Yeah it's a good tip to check the boss log, it shows many common problems. You might also use the 4GB patch on Fallout.exe to reduce crashes.
With large mods like MMM, WMK and whatnot, follow their recommendations for load order more so than what BOSS suggests. Haven't played FO3 in a while, though, so i'm not sure how comprehensive BOSS is in the amount of mods it can sort nowadays. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] Could try starting a new game and seeing if the BOSS sorted load order actually works, in which case it's the change in load orders causing your savedgame to crash. Which would be rather unusual, as i've never had that happen to me before on Oblivion, FO3, FO:NV or Skyrim.
Doesn't BOSS show you like a log with conflicting mods after using it? I know LOOT does.
It reported no conflicts. Both seem to crash often while exploring the waste and when I enter the Sewer Waystation. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline]
My FNV has crashed a bunch, making it unplayable. But this one seemed to do the trick. Thanks alot!
Curious, Boss log or 4GB patch? [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] I'm an idiot. The crashing almost definitely will be fixed when I use the 4gb patch. The huge texture pack I'm using is most likely causing the crashes. If only I hadn't just uninstalled tons of mods hoping to resolve the conflicts. sigh
I'm looking for a mod that replaces the default skill magazine textures with sillier ones but I can't remember what its called. The only one I remember is that the lockpicking magazine said FORCE THE LOCK and had a fist smashing through a lock. I know I saw it here a long-ass time ago, does anyone here remember it?
So I started a new run of Fallout 3, and for whatever reason, under my current setup aiming with any big gun causes the FOV to decrease, causing me to zoom out instead of in. Basically this happens: Instead of the usual No idea why it does that.
