Calling card run would extremely bloat the game
Well there are some really cool mods for tha -
Well fuck.
How about a garbage man/women run?
Where applicable you must either:
/ Unless seen /
- remove all limbs of the (human)opponent's body
- store the body out of sight in closets/bathroom toilets/dumpsters
- burn bodies on fires
Or a Calling-card run
- leave a simple common easily acquirable misc item on every body you kill
Eye for an eye run
-using the 9mm pistol you get at the beginning
- Place a single 9mm pistol round into the head of every single human you kill
- Kill Benny with the 9mm pistol
Hiding bodies is an actual stealthy thing to do. Shame the game doesn't give a care whether bodies get spotted or not. I once camped a single chair in a fairly heavily guarded power ganger's post and waited for them to sit in it before I killed them with a knife. The bodies were just piling up on the cursed piece of furniture but the idiots kept sitting ther regardless...
So I recently got into the fallout series, starting with NV, and I have played through it a few times now and I'm looking to get a fresher experience. Having limited resources what should I go for first, the NV DLC or should I get Fallout 3 GOTY?

New Vegas DLC
Fucking Chet's voice is so annoying
Oh you are preaching to the choir. I was using the infinite ammo/armor/exp exploit. I had to listen to him for HOURS.
The lore in this series is the best I've seen in any videogame
It amazes me
extensive, sure, but I wouldn't call it 'amazing'. It's full of contradictions and things that flat out don't make sense due to the segmented nature it's presented in.
im using GNR enhanced on fallout 3 and sometimes at song transitions the game will minimize and a window called "activemovie window" will pop-up attached to fallout 3
it minimizes my game and then when going back in i freeze, only fix i can figure out is windowed mode but that looks horrible and it doesn't stop the window from popping up but atleast i can get back in game after it happens
of course i could uninstall GNR enhanced but i'd really like to keep it, apparently this is a somewhat common problem but i can't seem to find a solution

Try Codec Tweak Tool, that's what I used to fix it.

well it is a post-apocalyptic wasteland
seeing dead bodies is like seeing 7-11s

nvm got it
Are there any mods that add some variety to the weapons carried by the main factions? It gets a little boring seeing that almost every NCR Soldier carries a Service Rifle, Legion members carry either Varmint Rifles or SMGs, etc. Or maybe they do carry different weapons and I just don't pay attention...
I was playing fallout 1 earlier today and realized that I had only ever found out about lost hills via the internet. Is there any way to find out about it ingame without just wandering the map?

Seeing dead bodies of your friends you saw alive 5 minutes ago isn't like seeing 7-11s.
No lighting mods i download seem to work they all just stay vanillaish
Is Fellout NV supposed to make everything dark as fuck at night?
It's supposed to but for me it just makes the skys weirdly purple and fullbright ground
[editline]28th July 2014[/editline]
Also what brightness setting should i use ingame bar in the middle or completely off?
Well that's annoying. It doesn't even look remotely good
Well that's annoying. It doesn't even look remotely good
Half the lighting mods at night never work properly for me anyway they say "darker nights" but then its just weirdly broken
I think I broke the Dead Money main quest.
I got to the part where I have to take Dog/God to their place, but before doing so I started exploring and somehow I got to the belltower. I activated the panel up there and Elijah told me that this is the place where I need to go once everyone is in place. I activated the panel the second time and the Gala triggered somehow. I didn't have anybody in position.
So I got Dog/God in position and went back to get the others, but the quest markers point to the casino.
Strange thing is that a lot of things related to the gala triggered, but some others didn't. The red speakers appeared in the Villa and I can enter the casino, but the ghost people didn't appear.
How do I get past all of Mr. House's robots when I'm sent to kill him?
I assume we don't need spoiler tags for the main storyline right?

You use items, perks, traits, armor, etc to negate as much damage as possible and fire a fatman inside.
Trust me, I've done this before.

In Old Town there is a building with some very well armed people in it. Fight them and see where it goes.
Every caravan in the Hub goes to the Brotherhood. Ask any caravan leader and they'll put it on your map. Also in Old Town you can ask a weapons merchant and he'll tell you where to look for heavy firepower.
The fortune teller in the Boneyard will give you a random location on your map which may include Lost Hills.
Admittedly there's not too many, but the location is only tangential to the main quest. It's nowhere near as bad as San Francisco.
Do NPCs inventories reroll if you barter with them or steal all their shit in FO1?

Not as bad as in Skyrim. If you hide a body underneath a low overhang, NPCs will just get stuck walking into the wall trying to accidentally stumble across their fallen comrade.

Just use a stealthboy. No one will ever know what the fuck happened.
Can some internet detectives explain to me what WMXUE is and what happened to it
I've found out that it's supposedly WMX Ultimate Edition, but i can't find it anywhere and i'm missing masters because of it, it's really frustrating because it's the last thing stopping me from starting a game of TTW
[editline]i[/editline]
Nevermind, i'm dumb, didn't think of checking "old files" under WMX before now, seems like i've got to use separate DLC files for everything
