Fallout Series Thread V14: When i entered this thread i was hoping there would be more gambling - Games

I think I'm going to start playing Fallout again. I have an older save that I don't think I'll pick up on, but instead start a new one. Anyone got any good ideas for a character? I have got some mods installed, but I don't have the same NMM install as I did before so they are all unrecognized by it. Apparently I have Fellout installed but not enabled, and I have Project Reality enabled. I also have TTW-Fellout so I am confused.

Try using only Cowboy weapons. I count the .45 pistol because Red Dead Redemption. Also, install New Vegas bounties for more cowboy immersion.

Optimize your character for combat and kill everyone whenever you walk into a town. Sustain yourself through looting, finish Honest Hearts in fifteen minutes.

It was pretty fun punching loads of people in the face though. I have to confess, the biggest reason I want to play through again is because I never finished lonesome roads.

I don't want to fight bulletsponge enemies while having the same protection value as vase.

I don't play games on higher difficulty levels because most of the time it's an artificial challenge where the AI just gets buffs to its stats, that isn't a 'challenge' that's just a load of bullshit. Normal player for life.

OWB is the only grievous instance of bulletsponge.

I've always played on very hard, but I find hardcore is just a nuisance rather than providing any real difficulty. It's easy to keep a constant supply of food/water at all times, and the only big problem is ammo weight which just gimps your ability to clear out dungeons in one go. Is there any good difficulty overhauls though? Try to make the game more STALKER on master esque.

nothing is bullet sponge on very hard if you know where to fucking aim. aim for the head or get perks to get really good melee weapons and just hack away.

Fallout Series Thread V15 - Install AWOP for a fun time!

I play on hard but have a ton of stacked unarmed/explosives perks so nothing's ever really been spongey to me

are there any good legion-friendly companion mods? any mods that make a legion playthrough more enjoyable in general even for a non-melee character? i'm about to try the vulpes inculta follower mod on my last playthrough to see if it's any good.

Two new players in the PnP: The Newbie: completely new to PnPs, and The Pyromancer: a clearly unstable pyro-kinetic Psyker. Our original players: The Murderhobo: he stabs shit, and The Voice of Reason: currently not playing in this session due to outside circumstances. The party, minus the Voice of Reason for this endeavor, then decides that they will attempt to raid and loot a caravan they join on as guards. The Voice is gone for one session, and now the party is going evil. Guess we'll see if their attempt to get free shit is successful.
