Ok, i'm at the end of my rope here, and i'm about to use it to hang myself with it. You remember a few pages back i asked for help in trying to add the weapons and armour from Willheaven Content Pack mod over to goodsprings? Will since then i've been trying everything and NOTHING has worked I really need someone who is not a complete ass (like me) with GECK to do it, because lord knows i can't Everything i have tried has ended with a CTD or sometimes a Out of memory Error and even a reference no# not found error If someone could just somehow either: add a door from goodsprings to inside the safehouse OR even better and much preferable, move the boxes 2-3 i think that already has all the armour and weapon stuff inside to goodsprings Holy shit i would love you forever. (then maybe i can finally find out what they look like.)
I'll try my best to help you with that, give me 20 minutes or so. Also while I'm here, I'm trying to make a house mod for an adventurer (as in nothing incredibly over the top or fancy) but I want it to be in a location outside the Mojave that you can only access through some circumstance or teleport there like The Sink or something like that (because I want to be able to access it both from the Capital and from the Mojave). Does anyone have any good ideas for what I can do for it?
-fallout on tablet- Time to play Fallout on my tablet.
How well does it run? I tried multiple methods and the only one that even worked for me was DOSBox Turbo, which i had to buy. It ran like ass and i had to disable sound as well.
Could be an abandoned train station somewhere between the Mojave and D.C., with trains in each wasteland leading to it.
Oh god, that's actually a great idea! I can't believe I didn't think of this before. Thanks! :D Also _Maverick_, here's the mod you wanted! All of the stuff should be in the crate right next to the Mojave Express box at the General Store in Goodsprings. If there's anything missing, tell me so I can fix it.
There's a mod for Fallout 3 at least that extends the range that bullets exist, making sniping better. There might be one for New Vegas too.
Do you know what the name of the mod is? I would really like that.
You wondrous magnificent bastard everything is there and no issues to report. Lov u bae
Oh shit, I completely forgot about this because of college. Sorry about that.

You can talk to them in whatever place they stay (a building in New Vegas/the Capital would be good), and the only speech option you'll have is for them to take you to a safe house (asking where to go will lead to this). They'll proceed to ask you to pay a fee and the screen will black-out. Once you're there, the caravan will wait for you to finish, and then you can ask them to take you back. You'll appear back at the original place. I'll leave the rest of the details for you to get creative with, hope this helped.

Why are there auto-inject stimpaks but not auto-inject radaways?
Why are there auto-inject stimpaks but not auto-inject radaways?
because some perks require a high amount of rads (I.e. where you start regrowing limbs with d.high rads etc)
I can settle for another Fallout in the desert, i thought the Capital Wasteland was a bit too boring.
I'd like something utterly tropical, like Florida.
Why are there auto-inject stimpaks but not auto-inject radaways?
Because there are only two places where you can get any notable level of radiation in the whole game.
I'd like something utterly tropical, like Florida.
doesn't the fallout bible mention alligator deathclaws? that shit would be metal
It's been pretty highly hinted that the game will involve The Institute and the Commonwealth, both located in Massachusetts. But we can never be sure until Bethesda officially unveils the game which probably wont be for a while.
Oh, you mean the hints from the hoax that turned out to be fake? I think the location is entirely up in the air right now, but it won't be outside of North America. That is all I can say.
I'd like something utterly tropical, like Florida.
I want Florida because then I can go "Hey I know that place."
There's really not much in New Jersey that would make for an interesting Fallout game, I think.
As a resident of Jersey, I can tell you this is 100% true New Jersey is boring as fuck we don't even have our own accent, we just stole New York's and Philly's
because some perks require a high amount of rads (I.e. where you start regrowing limbs with d.high rads etc)
Some perks require injury. (e.g. Ferocious Loyalty)
As a resident of Jersey, I can tell you this is 100% true New Jersey is boring as fuck we don't even have our own accent, we just stole New York's and Philly's
Would be neat for tribes in New Jersey to fight mutated Staten Islanders that invade in bands and try to steal all the horses we have here in Monmouth County.
what ever happened to horses in the fallout universe? did they just die off like cats or something?
I'm pretty sure they went extinct before the war even happened, but I'd have to check the lore to make sure.
I don't play games on higher difficulty levels because most of the time it's an artificial challenge where the AI just gets buffs to its stats, that isn't a 'challenge' that's just a load of bullshit. Normal player for life.
Normally Id agree for most games but new vegas is legitimately a really, really easy game, even on the hardest difficulty settings With the exception of deathclaws and big mountain nightstalkers, because they are bullshit OP.
I'm pretty sure they went extinct before the war even happened, but I'd have to check the lore to make sure.
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Equidae http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Horses http://fallout.gamepedia.com/Horse Most of it is non-canon/guesses, but they were most likely around up until the Great War. Whether or not they died off immediately after the bombs hit, became extinct a while after the Great War, or died exclusively in America/the areas covered in the Fallout universe is still up for debate, though.
If you'll excuse me for being a Northern bastard, but London would be terrible for a Fallout game. 'Ave it in good old Yorkshire, better accents, better places, and for fucks sake we need one game that takes place in England that isn't just London. Besides, half the places up north have always been grim enough to be post apocalyptic :v:
Where the hell would you set it though? Leeds? Bradford's already a wasteland, just throw in some deformed chavs.
I finally got Tale of Two Wastelands to work. I played for like 7 hours yesterday.
You guys realize that a British Fallout made by American devs would be nothing but Doctor Who, Top Gear, and Big Brother easter eggs with an entirely American cast of voice actors sounding posh and a storyline that is a Fallout-ized retelling of Canterbury Tales without the good parts, right?
Why the Canterbury Tales?
You guys realize that a British Fallout made by American devs would be nothing but Doctor Who, Top Gear, and Big Brother easter eggs with an entirely American cast of voice actors sounding posh and a storyline that is a Fallout-ized retelling of Canterbury Tales without the good parts, right?
Jeremy Clarkson ghoul Richard Hammond brain robot James May hologram Sonic screwdriver (emp weapon for disabling robots) Complete absolutism government, Eye-bot like creatures and robots wonder the cities with hundreds of cameras and sensors welded onto their bodies that monitor everything. rebel forces fighting the government. Like half life 2 and dishonoured but in fallout fight with the government and rule with power or fight against it. I dunno A uk based fallout game could be pretty bloody good
