Weapon Mods Expanded is also a great gameplay mod. If you want to use ENB, I highly suggest enhanced shaders by tapioks. I use the pulp palette and it looks great.

Where in they bred together? It could essentially be a Deathclaw, but instead of scales, they would have crab-like plating, I would think.

Will New Vegas perform better if I have it installed on an SSD over a 5400 RPM drive? I'm not just talking abut load times but will grass load faster?
So, I am thinking of installing some mods when I am done with Honest Hearts? Which ones are recommended here? I know that the someguy Quest Series are pretty great, so I am surely installing those. Are there other quest mods that are recommended? Also, my F:NV's performance is pretty shaky. I have days where it keeps crashing every ten minutes. Any tips on how to fix that?

It probably depends entirely on your mod composition and the rest of your system. There's still a bit of combat, but it's been a while since i played his FNV mods, so i can't tell how much

Hey millenia, you seem to churn out a lot of these really nice gun mods, but I'm really curious: how difficult is it to balance all of the gun mods you make? I wanted to get a bit more into modding, but balancing things out with the rest of the game (or worse: with other mods) seems incredibly difficult to me. Do you have any tips?
I'm not as big of a New Vegas fan as most people here, but I needed to replay it to get screenshots for a thing. I made the unfortunate mistake of taking that perk that boosts agility but cripples your limbs like toothpicks, as well as putting strength down to 3 making alot of weapons hard to use. Needless to say that trying were really hairy when getting the Cazador eggs for The Thorn in that 'Bleed Me Dry' quest at level 13. Thank heaven for super stimpacks and that Incinerator you can get in Primm.

I love the vending machines of the Sierra Madre. 99 Med-Ex, Buffout, Mentats, and Steady is like being some sort of god. Shame there's no Psycho or Turbo code, or a chem to boost Aglity. Got the GRX Implant perk for mucho Turbo though.
I decided to play a chem addict character with a twist [img]http://i.imgur.com/di6m6tB.jpg[/img] Meet Doctor Killshot, well that's what he calles himself anyway. He used to live in New Reno but was a huge fuck up and got into tons of trouble with pretty much everybody there. So he moved to Vegas with a new name to run from all that bad shit. He needed a fix real bad so he lied about being a doctor to get chems from the Followers of the Apocalypse. They gave him a test to see if he was full of shit and just by guessing, he passed it. Later he got mixed up in the whole platinum chip business and is now bent on killing Benny. Nobody tries to kill Doctor Killshot. Nobody. [B]High intelligence and high medicine:[/B] The whole thing I got with him is, stats wise, he has super duper high medicine and intelligence, but in reality, he's just making everything up and happening to get it right. [B]Take three random chems before combat:[/B] The guy is also a huge pussy, so before combat, he injects random shit into his body to get a confidence boost. Essentially I just randomly click a few chems when I see a bunch of enemies. Don't have any chems? Start running. [B]Random mercenary encounters:[/B] I took a perk added by the 'More Perks' mod that has mercenaries hunt you down at random times. I figure those are some dudes hired by someone he fucked over back in New Reno. [B]Have a bunch of chems:[/B] I took a trait added by a mod made by the same guy who made 'More Perks' called Fake Physician. It lowers karma but I started with tons of medical supplies, chems, and other goodies. [B]No armor:[/B] Lastly I can only wear that doctor outfit and facemask, and use bolt-action or lever-action rifles, nothing else at all. All-in-all this is going to be a really fun play-through.

Fallout would make a fucking fantastic tv series. Hear me out, the pilot would be the wanderer breaking out of the vault to find out the answer to some mystery, and from there, the show takes off. You could have him saving a town like megaton from raiders. Him involved in the shady dealings of gangs, etc. Its fantastically set up to be a television show.
