I don't mean to poke a hole into everyone's balloon, but there's a few things that would need to happen for a mod to link Oblivion to Fallout:
a) you'd need to rerig a lot of Oblivion's armors back to Fallout's skeleton. Just because they use the same engine doesn't mean they use the same skeleton, and you'd have to update the .nif to work on Fallout's engine because it uses an outdated format of the .nif file. You'd probably also need to recombine the smaller armor pieces into one larger armor piece for it to be more compatible to Fallout, but possibly not if you redid the original underwear model in Fallout to render in pieces allowing for piece by piece armor to work like it did in Oblivion.
b) you'd have to rerig the different body part models listed in each race back to fallout's skeleton again, and once again redo the .nif file. The FaceGen might also be outdated too, so you'd have to fix that
c) you'd have to find a way to port all of the animations that are exclusive to Oblivion (e.g. spellmaking, 2-handed sword animations) back into Fallout. You could probably get away with using default Fallout animations for other 2-handed weapons (e.g. the Warhammer) and 1-handed stuff (e.g. shortswords), but some things don't really have a Fallout equal (spells, mostly)
d) thinking about it now, you'd have to update ALL of the .nifs from Oblivion to Fallout's new nif format
e) you'd probably have to redo some of the weather that Oblivion has so it works with Fallout, but I don't really know the technical details behind this one
f) massive differences between dialog (for example, Fallout always poses sentences as topics, while Oblivion only does this sometimes and brings up only a "topic" (e.g. kvatch, rumors, etc). You also have the disposition system which is completely gone in Fallout
This isn't even including possible issues with quests, scripts that might need redoing, other systems that are in Oblivion and not Fallout and vice versa, plus about a million more things that I don't really understand or even know about at all that'd probably break. You'd be taking on a fuck-ton of work, including having to find a way to mass-translate .nif files from Oblivion to Fallout format without any issues arising and I dunno, you'd need to be a helluva dedicated just to do that and it might not even be completely possible
A man can dream, though.
okay so, i tried playing fallout 1 again on steam, and it just... wont launch.

oh nvm i looked into it and found opening directly from the exe works
Speaking of TTW, I want a mod that connects Fallout to The Elder Scrolls for some Army of Darkness shenanigans.
You are given a quest to destroy the Necronomicon at the Dunwich Building, say the wrong words, and are transported away to Cyrodill.
This must happen.

What is this, Myst?

Well obviously you can just transfer the .esps over and expect it to work with just some tweaking. Everyone just kinda meant it like with Skywind or Morroblivion where everything is just re-made.
I got a problem with Fallout 2 here. I load up any save, play for 30 seconds and it crashes. When I get the task manager open, my desktop looks like this:

Horizontal flickering lines also appear on my screen when this happens.
What should I do?

Well, I was imagining a sort of senario where the NPCs work on Oblivion logic and the player character runs of Fallout logic to make the player feel like a fish out of water rather than just look like one. Twas just a whisy though. A flimsy whimsy.

Go to your local church and ask if they preform exorcisms.

Have you tried reinstalling the game to see if it continues? Could be a corrupted file somewhere.

It is similar to the 'too many items' bug. Should I get rid of the save files, too?

I would resinstall first. If it still does it, keep the saves in a different folder and then erase them to.
Now you can attach knives to a fire axe

The mine attached to a pool cue is the best one.
Install TTW
Wear Tunnel Snakes jacket and get Butch as a follower
Go to New Vegas and start fighting the Kings
Don't forget limiting yourself to only fighting with a switchblade.
Also, you'd have to make sure you go to Sergio before killing all the Kings for a pompadour if you don't have one already.
I entered Vault 3 for the first time with this character, and... one of the fiends talked. They didn't attack, I was able to convince the door guard that I was a Khan drug runner. They were all docile until one guy who didn't get the memo rounded the corner and opened up on me. I dusted him in one hit with a laser carbine, but it caused the formerly non-hostile Fiends to attack me, but I one-shotted them all as well.
It felt really weird, though, as I proceeded through the rest of the vault, reducing Fiends to ash piles where they stood, and when the realization hit me that they hadn't been attacking because the ones on the lower levels hadn't seen me fight and so were still non-hostile, I felt almost... bad, for just sweeping through and murdering them with impunity. They couldn't even get a hit in on me, after they noticed I'd dusted one of their comrades and ran in to take a swing and I just sunk laser after laser into their chests.
Then again, they're Fiends, so who gives a shit, I guess.
I'm thinking about doing an WH40K Inquisitor style playthrough, using swords and axes. And a flamer once I get one.
Gotta cleanse the heretics and purfiy the mutants with the purging flame.
I'm no WH40K expert, but what about downloading a semi-auto shotgun (i.e a Saiga-12) loaded with slugs for the ultimate bolter, and the Shishkebab as well?

Also the Ripper for some chainsword action

I could use the riot shotgun for that, since it has that bulky drum mag. But thanks for the suggestion!

How did you do that? I wanna RP as myself.
How did you do that? I wanna RP as myself.
Skeleton armor mod and NCR Overhaul mod for that specific helmet (I'm using the beta version for some odd reason I doubt it matters either way).
You can't wear any body armor and certain types of headgear I have no idea how it works exactly. Some combos work and some don't in terms of headgear/glasses.
