Bonespace > Meatspace I don't really get that skeleton mod much I mean in the gallery by the author he's wearing a biker jacket and the dress from Dead Money but there's nothing that tells you how to accomplish that. I wanna dress up my bones.
b-b-b-baaad to the bone

I swear the enemies in Old World Blue spawn directly behind you and whenever you look away.
Recently started a game as a skeleton. War is heck.
And thus, we see what Fallout would be like if Skyrim was imported in...
I swear the enemies in Old World Blue spawn directly behind you and whenever you look away.
they pretty much do, Chris Avellone fucking hates sneaky sniper builds apparently
they pretty much do, Chris Avellone fucking hates sneaky sniper builds apparently
And I always all the time plays the sneaky snipers. Speaking of which, slowly trimming the fat off my personal perfect build. Mostly the crafting perks making way for other stuff.
What do you guys think about this mod for new vegas? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48242 I think it's cool, but I there was a mod where you could load individual magazines and you could only have so many magazines at your disposal. I don't like how you can't reload magazines on the go because it could easily be done in real life.
Is Nexus still suffering from that phishing thing?
Which is cooler looking? The Assassin Suit or the Chinese Stealth Armour? I'm at the point in the game where the bonus doesn't really matter anymore.
Which is cooler looking? The Assassin Suit or the Chinese Stealth Armour?
Which is cooler looking? The Assassin Suit or the Chinese Stealth Armour? It makes you wanna use more magazineless weapons.
In regards to the Fallout Soundtrack, I feel like they should stop just taking music from the 50s and do something exciting. Because after all, its not like there was no new music produced after 1959. So i think they should take famous songs from the 60s onwards and record them in various 50s styles. THAT would be cool as fuck. Like hearing Thriller in Doo Wop, or Hotel California in Rhythm and Blues.

I've actually wondered about that sometimes, how the only music that survived the war is music that was already over a hundred years old. (Of course, I know it's because they didn't compose anything new, but I mean in terms of in-universe explanations) Perhaps the music made after that point was mostly recorded on media that wasn't as resilient as whatever medium carried the surviving songs? Which is kinda bullshit, but I don't even know.

Which is kinda bullshit, but I don't even know.
I think this is just 'cause Bethesda took the entire postapocalyptic 50s part of the setting and ran with it - if you look at the aesthetic in F1 and F2, it's pretty obviously a bizarre mish-mash of a 50s postapocalypse (giant mutated animals, etc.) and all these 80s postapocalyptic movies - Escape From New York, Mad Max obviously, there's definitely a hint of Blade Runner (yes, Blade Runner is postapocalyptic... sort of), all these low-budget flicks like Equalizer 2000... Basically what I'm saying is that I'd love to hear some ominous synths on the soundtrack, like this: Hm, now that I'm thinking about it, it'd make a great radio mod
I don't really think synths would be good for radio but would be better for more ambient tracks. But if Beth really wanted to have a synth station then I feel like it should be more like a post-war creation. Synth music probably wasn't around when the bombs dropped so it would make more sense if a drugged up raider gang just found some sound equipment and went nuts, accidentally inventing synthrock/pop in the process.
Tunnel Snakes vs The Kings. The ultimate battle.
Tunnel Snakes are just a handful of bullies while The Kings are a faction of pompous vigilantes. Granted, a lot of The Kings are also bullies but they're not just bullies.
Get Fallout:New Vegas GOTY and get Tale of Two Wastelands.
I'm getting this error when I try to install TTW. Please help because this was a big reason that I bought Fo3 during the sale. Also I fixed the above problem but not the installer is stuck on "Building Fallout3 - Meshes"
HOW DID YOU FIX IT HOW
Could someone help me with installing the armory? Every time I try to select anything for the pfp it crashes FOMM. I'm probably just stupid and forgetting something, but it's really pissing me off, and the installation guide is fucking awful.
I've played Fallout New Vegas for 112 hours but I've never been to Black Mountain. How sad is that?
I reinstalled New Vegas, added a bunch of lovely mods, and I've managed to pour in 60~ hours within the last few days. I need some exercise. In other news, with all of the mods I have, using steam to start it up takes forever (at least a few minutes.) I'm so glad the 4GBNV launcher exists.

IIRC there was some backlash toward synth when it was first invented, and it took a long time for it to become accepted as a serious thing in music. It's reasonable to assume that, with the "cultural lock" that Fallout's world experienced, attitudes toward synth music simply never allowed it to gain steam. I do like the idea of raiders inventing their own music, though.

Speaking of which anyone notice that usefulness in combat sort of goes down as character writing goes up? as well as vice versa
This probably gets asked like 1000 times a week but I'm going to try playing through FO3 GOTY again, are there any mods that are pretty much mandatory?
I haven't tried this unofficial patch yet, but every unofficial one I've seen for a Beth game has been legit. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/19122/? [editline]26th August 2014[/editline] Now I must reinstall Fallout 3. The desire is too stronk. :suicide: [editline]26th August 2014[/editline] You might want this too, easily configurable, non-intrusive, easy to uninstall http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20183/?
New Fallout logs hastily summarized for your enjoyment. Fallout NY Reboot: Session 9: Heads Hunted http://pastebin.com/ZUNaQdw6
Marlowe, while lost in the Empire State Building, found and chatted up a pre-war ghoul, Deadeye, who offers him a lift to where the caravan is now. Marlowe hops onto the caravan with Dez, Flint and Surd. After recapping with each other, Dez tells Marlowe they're going to pillage the caravan. Marlowe does not approve, but Dez manages to get him to agree to go along with it thanks to some rolls, but only under the condition that they steal just this truck. Marlowe slides into the front passenger seat and gets into a tussle with the driver, eventually managing to kick him out, but letting him live. The gang then takes their loot and drives off to an out-of-the-way parking lot, to check what they got, which went something like: "You find entirely useless bits and pieces that you can't even imagine a feasible use for, mostly replacement parts for exceedingly specific Vault equipment most likely. Nothing worth taking. You find other crates with various medical compounds that have symbols and words you don't understand, too. But, you did find one box of useful materials, that has [5] Stimpaks, [4] Bandages, [3] Bandaids, [1] Psycho." Using her Science skill and Vault knowledge from her backstory, Flint recognizes a few water chips, some replacement parts for the fans within the air vents of a Vault, and some innards from an AutoDoc, among the junk, along with about half a Mister Handy. Flint says she didn't sign up to become no wasteland justice thing or whatever, and demands 20% of all future profit, which the others reluctantly agree to. After some more chatter I can't be arsed to summarize because I'm in a hurry and don't want to read the log again, the gang picks up a hitchhiker. Dez convinces this hitchhiker to start spreading the word that "Dez Durgein is looking for men who are willing to get rid of the raider menace." After this and some more chatter, they spot a nice-looking armored truck fly by. Dez demands that Marlowe follow it, but Marlowe's had enough shit and refuses. The hitchhiker declares that it was a Brotherhood truck, and that it's unusual to see them this far away from their aircraft carrier. The party is eventually accosted by a group of raiders in a compact which is decorated with numerous heads on sticks. After concentrating fire (some of it literal, courtesy of Flint's fireballs) on the driver, chaos ensued within the little compact, and it eventually crashed into a fire hydrant. Dez gets off his bike (which he had mounted during combat, scoring another critical on his STR roll to pedal, earning him a medal: "Pedal to the Metal - You gain +2 to all speed-related STR checks in relation to bicycles") and proceeds to loot the compact before its nuclear reactor explodes. With that, they head back to Terminal to rest up and repair their equipment. Courtesy of the multiple nonstop criticals, both passing and failing, that Surd keeps making, he was given a medal of his own: "Critical Mess - Your critical chance is increased by 2." End session.
Fallout NY Reboot: Session 10: Recon, Ride, Raid http://pastebin.com/pLf52ieW
The gang, at Terminal and now rested up, enters the nearest tavern, who is a throwback character to the original Fallout: New York campaign I did. Red hair, unnecessarily big tits that an obscene amount of attention is drawn to, and named Clara. The party takes on a job to eradicate a base of raiders, most notably the leaders of the Headhunters, named "Machinegun Kelly," "Cathy Carbine," "Laser Larry," and the clearly labeled head honcho of all of them, "Humvee Huey." They drive to the Empire State Building and debate who should go up to the observation deck after their latest shenanigans, and decide on Flint and Surd. They head up, take a peak around with some binoculars, and spot three things, in this order: A humvee covered in heads enter an underground parking lot, some suspicious, similarly dressed, black-clad individuals walking along a tilted skyscraper, and the two trucks from the caravan the party raided exiting Central Park and heading here. Flint and Surd take their leave and return to the truck. They drive to where Surd saw the humvee enter the underground parking garage and pull to a stop a few blocks away. Flint and Surd exit the truck and look for, then find, a second entrance to the parking garage and wait for Dez and Marlowe to go in the front. Dez and Marlowe pull the truck in the front and go guns blazing, ramming into raiders and shooting others, at which point Surd and Flint come down to clean up after them. End session.
Session 1 Session 2 Session 3 Session 4 Session 5 Session 6 Session 7 Session 8
