you can create new animations through scripting magic but it's unreliable and isn't ideal.
You have to admit that the reloading animation seen in that video is good. At least for New Vegas!
Wow why won't he upload it? I want this! Vanilla recoil is so lame. [editline]29th August 2014[/editline] NCR Trooper Overhaul Caesar's New Regime Electro-city (Must have IMO) Helpless Falling Weapon Animation Replacers (both pistol and rifle) Bullet Impact increased LOD Misc Item Icons Improved Sound FX (better gun sounds too) Immersive HUD (iHUD, a must have IMO) Responsive Kill Reactions Interior Lighting Overhaul Flashlight NVSE New Vegas Enhanced Camera I love all of these.
Great list, although there's an updated version of iHud called oHud. It's a combo of three different hud mods.
Very glad I met Ian in Shady Springs, now I can actually go into caves full of radscorpions and not get horribly molested
Great list, although there's an updated version of iHud called oHud. It's a combo of three different hud mods.
I saw that and I was wondering what that was exactly. It had the same images as iHud so I figured it was the same thing.
you kind of have to wonder who in development of new vegas saw the vanilla recoil effect and was like "yes this looks fine"
It's not like you can really do burst shooting to manage recoil in Fallout since there is like a whole second of delay with your mouse clicks most of the time. It's ridiculous how fucked up and awful the game is.
you kind of have to wonder who in development of new vegas saw the vanilla recoil effect and was like "yes this looks fine"
It probably went more like "does it look passable? Yes, ok, on to the next thing because we're on a tight fucking schedule"

I've said it before but shooting a gun in the vanilla 3D fallout games feels more like firing a weird bow.
Seems fine to me, then again I'm not a Yank.
It's easy to get over. Especially considering NV has iron sights and 3 doesn't.
Holy shit, you fuckers thought that was amazing. Holy shit my ass

Some more blood would be cool as well

Even Skyrim retains a bunch of weapon attributes from Fallout like being able to tick off a box that makes the weapon automatic, setting the ironsight FOV, and a "no jam after reload" box to tick [editline]30th August 2014[/editline] also you can choose the model of the shell casings [editline]30th August 2014[/editline] It would be cool to try and mod in actual proper guns into skyrim but sadly, most of those attributes are non-functional
The closest there is to a gun mod in Skyrim is basically a reskin for the crossbow. It's like a musket or something, one of those really old weapons, so it kind of fits in to the setting, but it's not ideal. There's a delay between the firing of the projectile and the sound it makes, which kinda sucks.

On the home stretch here, all I need to do is kill Caesar by punching him in his stupid, dumb face with Lucius' own Balistic Fist then do 2 more quests before Endgame. Also, useed a glitch to have both Veronica and Cass as companions at the same time which has always been my dream.

I had Veronica and Cass both without having to do any sort of glitches or use mods.
Glitch? I had Veronica and Cass both without having to do any sort of glitches or use mods.
I meant hired at the same time. Following, doing my killing, making comments when I sneak, carrying my burdens, ect.
I meant hired at the same time. Following, doing my killing, making comments when I sneak, carrying my burdens, ect.
By hired you mean following you right? I've done that before without using anything.
By hired you mean following you right? I've done that before without using anything.
I'm not conivnced you and I are playing the same game, what with your perculiar gun problems and 2 humanoid companions (sans glitches or mods) wild claims.
I'm not conivnced you and I are playing the same game, what with your perculiar gun problems and 2 humanoid companions (sans glitches or mods) wild claims.
I have had zero gun problems. You're thinking of that other guy.
I have had zero gun problems. You're thinking of that other guy.
You all look the same to me.
You all look the same to me.
One is a Creep and one isn't. Not hard to tell. Anyway you're telling me that you were unable to hire both Cass and Veronica at the same time? In a playthrough I did 2 years ago I was able to hire them both. Cass first through speech, then Veronica.

Unless you unwittingly exploited a glitch, if you have either Cass or Veronica with you when you try to get the other to in your party they say "You've already got someone with you".

We destroyed the fiends together, and roughed Caesar's legion up a bit. No mods, no glitching. Both Cass and Veronica following me, both perks, killin' deathclaws at early levels.

Yeah, I thought you could only get one humanoid and one non-humanoid follower at the same time (eg. Veronica and EDE/Rex) [editline]a[/editline] Yep, wiki says so right here
I don't remember how I did it, but I did it.
