The report is fake but when asking the ranger if the report is true they mention something about a previous super mutant legion force, unless my memory is hazy...

No, I didn't. You might hear that kind of nonsense from a drunk trooper on the Strip, but not from me. The Legion doesn't have Super Mutants. That patrol was wiped out by its own incompetence - a couple of the troopers were fooling around with a grenade when it went off.
He is of course refering to the NCR patrol which was supposedly wiped out by Super Mutants.
He is of course refering to the NCR patrol which was supposedly wiped out by Super Mutants.
OH! I thought he meant the Legion's Super Mutants were wiped out.
Even if Legion doesn't have muties, there is nothing really stopping you from just having a Super Mutant who likes to dream of being in the Legion.
Even if Legion doesn't have muties, there is nothing really stopping you from just having a Super Mutant who likes to dream of being in the Legion.
Who in their right mind WANTS to be in the Legion?
Who in their right mind WANTS to be in the Legion?
Close minded fucks who can't think for themselfs? Kinda like the Super Mutants.
I love how both FONV and Skyrim have "Bears VS Romans"
Close minded fucks who can't think for themselfs? Kinda like the Super Mutants.
Maybe second generation and crazed nightkin, but I said right mind.
Caesar's Legion is somewhat like the Unity, minus the dipping. Some Super Mutants could be drawn to that, especially after spending six score years purposelessly wandering the desert. A mutant who would actually join up with the Legion is another story, though. The Legion grows by assimilation and conquest. I think it's implausible that a mutant would have been associated with a tribe. Maybe the mutant just doesn't know too much about them.
I could see the legion allying with a band of super mutants, but actually allowing them into the legion? I don't think so. Most are dumb dumbs.
Is there an easy way to make Doc Mitch go back to his vanilla looks? I'm using a mod that makes him look different, but it does a lot of other things too and he needs to be vanilla for New Vegas Redesigned.
How does the Legion feel about Super Mutants? Or what's your best guess? I'll be playing the fallout PnP game with friends and I want to know how canon-friendly a Legion-aligned Super Mutant would be.
There's many practical uses that the Legion could have for super mutants, e.g. governing over radioactivity-induced places, meat-shields/heavy-hitters (like the Deathclaw/Enclave relationship in FO3), and there isn't any real hostility that the Legion has against the super mutants as long as they keep their distance. I'm sure if you're playing as an intelligent super mutant that would be actually willing to join, it's plausible.
Nice, it looks like you are making what I'm currently just planning :v: (It's a base (Area 51) that's been taken over by mercenaries(Talon Company) and you are supposed to sneak into it.)
Thank you. I was inspired by Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes to create this base, but soon I plan to make a base takeover type game. I also plan to make gameplay more tactical, where killing everyone isn't a good idea, because that means less recruits and more caps to spend replacing them.

Does that mean he can't be in any way affected by other mods for NVR to work? You could get away with just setting NVR higher in load order than the other mod you speak of, but I can't say for sure which mod would have precedence over the other or they just refuse to match up. If that's given you problems or its simply not possible, it's time to open that other mod in FNVEdit. As far as I know (which isn't a lot, I don't use FNVEdit almost at all), all you need to do is remove that mod's ACTR, or whatever the actual abbreviation for "actor" is, value for DocMitchell (I think you can do that, once again, haven't use FNV in a long time). What this will essentially do is remove any changes the mod did to Doc Mitchell and return him to vanilla. Be warned! If he had new AI Packages or any AI changes due to the mod, they will be removed and it can break certain parts of the mod. I don't know what mod it is, so I don't know to what extent the damage would be done to them. However, if there IS no actor value for Doc Mitchell, then fire up the game, go to Doc and check his ID. If the first two numbers aren't "00" and his name in the console next to his ID isn't "DocMitchell," then that could say (once again, I don't quite know for sure) that the Doc Mitchell the mod adds is NOT the vanilla Doc Mitchell. Basically, they just replace him with a brand new "actor" that looks and has the same topics as him. If that happens, and you can't seem to fix it yourself, I guess I could try my best to help fix that for you but I probably won't be of much help because I'll probably not have the slightest idea what to do :v: TL;DR: 1. Try to put NVR higher in the load order 2. If the above doesn't help, remove the OTHER MOD's Doc Mitchell ACTR value in FNVEdit 3. If neither helps, come see me I guess [editline]6th September 2014[/editline]
Thank you. Take over some gang/merc/military/etc base, make all the recruits your own, turn into a new faction in the Wasteland. Then, you can invade other posts, make them your own, and make your faction bigger which would allow you to raid more stronger outposts which require a higher tactical sense or certain individuals or recruit types or something to help keep down casualties. Then, you can set new uniforms, maybe ranks or certain variants of recruits, I dunno, there's a lot of things you could do! I really like what you're going at, keep it up!

I plan to make each outpost/base have facilities that you can capture (R&D, Aircraft/Vehicle Hangar, Weapons Factory, etc) that will be essential to your faction. Each base will be tougher to capture as they are aware of your presence in the island. I played Jagged Alliance 2 many times so that's where I got the idea from.
Ask spamPTRS if he could let you use his tranq weapons included with the mod or recommend his mods and Project Ultimatum which allows holdups.
First thing I want to do is get a large portion of the island finished. I will eventually write a pitch document.
My friend just got New Vegas and somehow thought that the intro was spoken by ''the midget from GoT'' and refused to believe otherwise. Afterwards, this happened. I'll probably keep teasing him with this. Still, on the topic of the intro, I never actually knew that it was spoken by Hellboy.
you didn't know ron perlman does the "war never changes" monologue in fo3 and nv?
I always like to imagine in my endings someone from the Legion going:
I no clipped into where Dad dies and he's still alive and well Don't you see? This is what it all means.
you didn't know ron perlman does the "war never changes" monologue in fo3 and nv?
He did the intro monologue in all the Fallout games (except Brotherhood of Steel).
Pretty cool how his voice has only gotten better since the first game.
Is there a mod that adds a helmet along the lines of the one with the poster for Full Metal Jacket? Maybe a flak jacket also? I wanna do a playthrough of a character similar to joker from FMJ.
This http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43284/? and This http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42839/? was the closest I could find when searching for "nam" and "vietnam" and "full metal jacket"

So uh Good news, everyone. I can confirm there will be a New Vegas Bounties III - And that I'll be voicing a *very* major character in it.
I don't think Someguy ever really hide the fact there will be a 3, but cool to hear you got a good part.
I had a thought last night. I know what fan opinion is, but has bethesda ever confirmed that new vegas is canon?
Why wouldn't it be?
Why wouldn't it be?
Just a technicality thing, like have they ever outright said it's canon, or does everybody just assume?
