While that is true, there is an anon who made those vanilla character companions. He's pretty cool.
Bama was pretty cool also for doing his live steam of "The Shit Courier"

I find the Fallout, Stalker, and M&B vg threads calm, but damn that Skyrim thread makes me cringe. So many giant titties and fat asses.

I like how you say Skyrim thread. Because it really is a Elder Scrolls General, but all they do is post their shitty waifus.
I play Fallout for the lore and feel of being anything.

you didn't just call a joke made by yahtzee a /v/ meme did you

That's why I didn't mean the board, I meant the specific thread, which does have some waifu shit too.
So I updated my Nvidia drivers today and when I try to start Fallout NV with an ENB the game refuses to start with the following error message:

Translated: "Can't find procedure start address Direct3DCreate9Ex in the DLL-file d3d9.dll" or something like that.
Any ideas what to do to fix this?

From hat I noticed in the past Fallout general threads were mostly a bunch of ENB circlejerk threads which isn't too bad. Some people take great screenshots with ENB mods.
I'm starting to get into Fallout:Tactics again, and its pretty damn fun.

It's sounds like d3d9 (the binary library included with enb) is making a reference to some address that is no longer in those nvida drivers, may just be that boris designed those enb binaries for a specific driver version and he needs to update the fallout enb.

maybe a registry error?
Is T3T on FP?
I had no idea Roy Phillips was such a cunt. I've never finished it before, but now I know to completely avoid that quest.
help roy, get the ghoul mask, blow up megaton, let the ghouls take over, kill tenpenny, take his clothes, kill roy and all the ghouls, take tenpenny tower for yourself.
pimpin' ain't easy.
I always just nuked Megaton, released ghouls into the tower and killed all the inhabitants, then killed all the ghouls and had my own private tower.
god damn ninjas.
Would anyone mind checking this plugin for me to see why it keeps making my New Vegas crash at the Bethesda logo? https://www.mediafire.com/?03sd3l38t5ywcxq
Is that a crash on start-up? That could be a load order issue
Is that a crash on start-up? That could be a load order issue
Doesn't matter where I put it in the load order, if it's in there and activated it causes a crash.
It might be a mod conflict, but I can't say for sure, it's been too long since I've played around with mods. If nobody else can tell you what's wrong, I can try to take a look tomorrow but no promises

Then it seems you have a missing master. Looking over the ESP you shared, it lists Honest Hearts as the only other master. So if you don't have it, this ESP will always crash upon start up.
If you do, well then shit, I have no idea there.
I have always killed Roy Philips. He cant offer more than MR.Tenpenny.
I always hated killing him 'cause his followers tend to aggro after that, and they're just chill ghouls as opposed to total dickholes like Phillips
but it's better than the alternative
I think the Tenpenny Tower might be my favorite quest in vanilla F3, right next to the one where you save Reilly's Rangers
Can't you stealth kill Roy after you let the ghouls into the tower to stop them from killing everyone? If I remember right the game doesn't really have a state for that so you end up with a bunch of ghouls living in the tower and no one really acknowledges they're there.
I never did the Roy Phillips quest because I couldn't get past the grate (it requires 75 lockpick I think) and I didn't care enough about the guy to look for an alternate route.
It's neat that you're able to wipe out the Capital Wasteland except for the most annoying settlements: Rivet City and Little Lamplight.
-snip, stupid question-

In TTW I killed everyone in Little Lamplight and used it as a western base because I play with no fast travel.

That's fucking twisted.

I hate 95% of all the character in the Capital Wasteland. The few I did like was that old fuck in Rivet City who likes history, Agatha and Desmond.
I must like only old people

Three Dog is at it again
I usually just did the classic grenade pickpocket with roy.
Iconoclast armor + respirator helmet + railway rifle
Coolest combination after doing The Pitt
absence of confirmation is not confirmation

Coolest combo is Surgeon outfit, bandana, sunglasses and a mohawk
