Is that an entire new worldspace? How long did it take to compile?
It's been a while but I don't think that Gamebryo games compile worlds/maps per-say.
Are there any mods that disable/lower the chance of dismemberment for lower-powered guns? If there aren't any then I'll live, but it's a little ridiculous how you can shoot somebody's head clean off with just a 9 millimeter pistol.

I've never had a single dismemberment or explosion using the lower caliber weapons. At least not until I got 100 guns skill.

You can do this for any weapon you want, as well as modded weapons if you choose. I don't know if there's a way to specifically lower the chance of dismemberment though, I think it might be "all-or-nothing."
Why is the killcam option ingame? It gets boring after the second time.
It looks great, but i gotta ask where you got all that foilage? I need some pre-war foliage for some simulation mod I'm going to try and fail to make.
They are in the NV files, barely used. I think they were from the Strip.
Is that an entire new worldspace? How long did it take to compile?
Yes, I had to use an external program to create the worldspace, TESAnnwyn, since the GECK would crash upon leaving the heightmap editor, plus I used the Crysis Editor to generate the island and exported to RAW since the GECK couldn't do it. I have only generated Quick LOD because I want to get the worldspace completed before generating Full LOD and other stuff.

It's quite strange to see someone loose all their limbs when you shoot a 9mm in their torso.
For everyone who wants to use MO, Gopher is making an excellent tutorial series. He is actually working with the devoloper of MO to make sure everything is factual.
It's been a while but I don't think that Gamebryo games compile worlds/maps per-say.
I was trying to make my own worldspace and when I teleport to it only the cell I'm standing in is visible, don't you have to compile for the rest to be visible? That's what the nexus tutorial told me. :v:

Compiling the map would basically be something akin to baked-in lighting and any other changes to a map to make it playable. Half-life compiles its maps because {iirc) the map files edited in hammer are not the same as the map files used in the game, sorta like computer code isn't executable when you don't compile it Generating LOD is taking the cell, creating low-quality models of it to be loaded in when the cell itself is not loaded in. In gamebryo, the maps in the ESP being edited are basically executable at any time. You literally are editing the world. But you need to make and update the LOD so that you can see a cell's representative model from a different cell.

Because I read it can take up to as long as 10 hours. :v:
Would starting TTW in the Mojave rather than the Capital Wasteland break anything? I just need to collect a few items the head there.
So how long did it take to make the LOD then? Because I read it can take up to as long as 10 hours. :v:
Only a few minutes if you pick Generate Quick LOD from the Heightmap Editor. I don't know about generating Full LOD.
Would starting TTW in the Mojave rather than the Capital Wasteland break anything? I just need to collect a few items the head there.
I think it's designed for both, so it wouldn't afaik.
after leaving the vault you can teleport to mojave through console, then tp back also what are good alternatives to awop, im installing nvr3 and it wouldnt be compatible
Well, I don't care for Fallout 3's intro and I would like to sequence break the main quest to get to Broken Steel. And Warzones is pretty cool. It just uses Fiends, Legion and NCR mostly
Got EVE, Project Nevada, and Weapons of the New Millennium. What else do you guys recommend as essential mods, or just anything that adds a lot of content? I've been using Project Nevada forever too so if there's a better competitor I'm all ears!

groovy, now i wont have to use iws either (or should i?) also, for various compatability mods, should i just change the master for one of them to NVEC if one of the mods is in that?
Would starting TTW in the Mojave rather than the Capital Wasteland break anything? I just need to collect a few items the head there.
I accidentally did that once, I don't remember how I got into vault 101 but when I did a lot of stuff was broken (just the people, I was able to get the bobblehead okay), and when I went back into the capitol wasteland it asked me which content packs I wanted to enable, which I found funny because I was like level 35 at the time. So unless they changed something, and unless you want to do the trouble on the homefront quest, and if you don't mind using the "unlock" command, you should be good.
I don't mind not completing Trouble on The Homefront
last time I tried to play TTW it worked until I actually got to the Capital Wasteland on a current charactor all the doors just said "INACCESSABLE"
last time I tried to play TTW it worked until I actually got to the Capital Wasteland on a current charactor all the doors just said "INACCESSABLE"
Oh yeah I forgot about that, I had to coc to springvale.
I'm trying to remember the name of this mod or mods. Basically the mod adds the ability to craft items into various elements such as Steel, Brass, Ceramics, and other various elements used for medicine. You can also craft other types of ammo as well, such as slug rounds for the 40mm and 20mm grenade launchers. [editline]3rd October 2014[/editline] Also Im going to look into ENBs where should I start? I basically want Fallout to turn into some sort of horror game. [editline]3rd October 2014[/editline] Found the mods I was talking about I just need suggestions on ENBs still here's the mods I'm using. Thank goodness I endorsed these mods. Oh yes I forgot how garbage warzones is I'm at the nellis air force base warzone and what im getting from the mod creator is "IF YOU DON'T PLAY BY MY RULES YOU'RE GOING TO DIE" If you're not familair with that zone, you're basically being shelled by the same howitzer at nellis air force base. I'm at this really exposed bridge part where there's snipers and explosive users. Instead of charging in like an idiot, I planned to take each one out one by one. But no, that's not possible. there is this one person who throws this grenade at one part of the bridge. It's a scripted event, the fiend moves to the same position and throws the grenade at the same area. So if you see her and shoot her, the howitzers start firing and you're dead within 3 seconds. It's not because I'm spotted or anything. I looked at her for a good 10 seconds and no howitzers. When I shoot her, it doesn't say I'm detected or caution, but the howitzers shoot me.
Is this the only instance of Warzones being shit?
is this before or after making peace with the boomers if its before then thats your answer
I'm pretty sure they still shoot at you even if you're allied with the boomers because it's off boomer's territory anyways
Is this the only instance of Warzones being shit?
It's... of lesser quality than one might hope, but it's entertaining enough that I keep it. It at least makes southwest Vegas feel like there's a conflict draining the NCR, rather than have a few groups of five Fiends scattered around the place and pretending that constitutes a threat to them.
ive used awop and iws for my last few runs, im using it to shake things up
