I just don't want to have to wade through the garbage to find the gems. I'm beginning to doubt my own commitment to this game, maybe I never wanted it in the first place. I've already played it to death on the 360, are there really any mods would capture my attention for more than five minutes? If somebody can refer me to a list of worthwhile mods then maybe I'll decide. Maybe.
New Vegas Bounties 1 and 2, Millennia wep mods and weapons and some other I can't really remember right now

Project nevada too.
Also buy the DLCs because they're pretty great, unlike FO3.
I just can't play f:nv anymore because i always get to the strip and then decide my character's boring
I cant even remember the last time i actually made it to picking between house and the ncr

Stop making boring characters then. Do an explosives/stealth character where you have to reverse pickpocket people to death. Do a naked, drug addicted fist only character, use Turbo, Jet, Med-X, and whiskey to become a blur of fisting death.
Has anyone done a non-lethal run?
Has anyone done a non-lethal run?
Don't do it son
Don't do it son
Why?
Two ways to do a non-lethal run:
1. Don't attack any enemies. So you spend 90% of the game sneaking and running away.
2. Use knockout weapons. Which results in enemies being knocked unconscious for 15 seconds before you have to run away or knock them out again.
Why?
i remember someone doing it
it took him like an infinite fuckload of time to just finish the story

Not to mention that knockout weapons are fairly rare, still provide the chance to accidentally kill someone with them, and are mostly melee only.
I would use Project Ultimatum to enslave my victims, silenced knock out weapons from other mods, and the mod that makes fatigue longer.

Implying you don't grow a habit of quicksaving every 5 seconds when playing FO/TES games.
Haven't been in here a while, anything on FO4 yet or no?

No.
how do I fix the bug where NPC's teleport to whatever door you've just gone through, like every time I load a new cell doctor li, a brotherhood of steel guy and some other dude spawn next to me and run away
playing tale of two wastelands currently doing fallout 3
No.
Right then, see you all in 100 pages!
So the laser detonator is technically a weapon, but it does 0 damage, and since gamebryo can't into continuous beam weapons, it actually shoots a lot of individual beams in rapid succession, and according to the Fallout wiki, it has 0 spread. At the end of Point Lookout, you get a perk that adds a flat 5 damage to all your attacks, as long as you're standing still.
So if you had TTW, got the laser detonator and the perk from Point Lookout, would you have a super accurate unlimited ammo hitscan weapon that did 5 damage every millisecond for insane DPS, as long as you were standing still--essentially turning the player character into a laser turret?

Console command the perk and weapon.

when I had the problem of Li following me I disabled and enabled her in the console and that fixed it.

New vegas just plays way fucking better on PC. load times are like 5x as fast, higher resolution gameplay and control sticks and autoaim can never match the precision of mouse. Like my first few play experiences in Fallout 3 was on the 360 and no regrets about going PC, it's just way better.
anyways

Seriously test this out:
Get Superior Defender for the flat +5 damage at the beginning of Point Lookout as soon as you investigate the mansion.
You can get Ghoul Ecology (another +5 on everyone due to a bug) by doing the ghoul safari in PL.
Get Lady Killer for +10% damage against women.
Get Gun Nut for reduced weapon wear.
Get Entomologist for +50% damage against insects.
Get Finesse for higher Critical Chance.
Get Cyborg for +5% energy weapons damage.
Get Covert Ops for +3% weapons damage.
Get Robotics Expert for +25% damage against robots.
Get Better Criticals for +50% critical damage.
There is a practical ammo limit: the weapon has 10000 HP, but if the lasers fire quickly enough it could actually break. You'll need to occasionally buy repairs, which is like buying ammo except it's weightless and you can't hoard it.
Anyway, that comes to 10.815 damage per shot, even more against certain enemies.
Nevada Skies is really starting to piss me off. Would Fellout make the game run better?
Can't you do archive invalidation automatically (or by selecting an option) in most mod organisers? I know you can do it with FOMM and I would assume you can do it with NMM or whatever.

problem: you're not taking DR into account
DR is taken out of the game with TTW, there's only DT. At least armor wise, not sure if DR is still used for creatures and other things
Well, that was characteristically anti-climatic. I always ran away like "oh shit!" from that giant rolling boulder on black mountain, but just for once I decided to just stand there and let it roll over me. It just clips through you and does like 30~ damage then keeps rolling down the hill while your character just calmly stands there as if nothing happened.
Really though as per gamebryo tradition I'm not sure why I expected anything different :v:
Is there no blood stains on clothes in New Vegas Redesigned if you use a faction armor replacer?
Is there no blood stains on clothes in New Vegas Redesigned if you use a faction armor replacer?
Yeah, I think all the blood stains put on the armors are essentially reskins.

Damn, I really don't like the NCR default armor either. I guess I'll deal with it.
