So in Fallout 3, it's either FOOK 2 or FWE that overhauls how the Reservist Rifle looks. Does anyone know which one does it?
I'm getting into the original Fallout and it's great. I think it really stands the test of time when the graphics, controls, and menu system doesn't bother you. What compels you is the sense of mystery, exploration, and rich lore the Fallout universe.
menu system doesn't bother you
It doesn't until you need to buy something for 5500 caps.
Anyone know a housemod for NV with lots of display space? I wanna do a hoarder charachter that displays his cool finds but a lot of housemods don't have a lot of display. Already know of a Goodsprings thing that had lots of display space and UHNV.

This dude did a mod for Fallout 3 with a store full of custom gear, and a large portion of it was actually sitting out on a shelf, which was cool, but caused huuuuuuge amounts of lag and crashing for a lot of people because there was so much in one small space.

[sp]I was born in 1998 I didn't exactly grow up with games like this[/sp] Honestly, it's the only reason I can't play FO for very long. I'll get somewhere, get fucked up, and respawn all the way back at Shady Sands.

I feel the exact same way, coming from a guy born in 1996, I keep wanting to love these great games (1 and 2), but the turn-based strategy, random encounters, and the lack of autosave or quicksave keeps me away.
Anyone here has the modern version of TTW? Did they moved the trainstation recently? Because I can't find it in Freeside, it used to be there.

The game crashed every five minutes, my very first autosave got corrupted somehow, I misclicked and aggro'd an essential character, the AI bugged out during an escort mission, fifteen raiders popped out from behind a rock, I broke three lockpicks in a row, I actually didn't want to help Brian Wilks, &c. Before that the only RPG I played was KOTOR; I felt so free when I found out I could have more than three save slots. So I used five thousand.
Missing out on a great game because it doesnt have autosave? Lol

Who remembers that Character sheet thing I was working on? I decided to start from scratch. [t]http://i.imgur.com/DrKpNPV.png[/t] What I have so far, and all of the variables are in place it's just a matter of me giving the four things interfaces, and adding a few more things. [editline]22nd October 2014[/editline] (I am aware Agility is missing)

Why would you want the source? It's not clean at alllll. Like, this is perks. Pastebin because even with code tags it stretches.
The one thing I hate about modding? It won't tell you which mods are conflicting and half the time you can't tell if they're doing anything.

I didn't know about the ambiguity the "+" function had, with being both for addition and combining strings, when I first coded it. So, because it kept turning my output of "50+50" into "5050" instead of "100," I removed all the +s, put all the equationbits in parenthesis, and made them double negatives. It's hideous and it functions. So what are you coding with?
C#, didn't we agree to have me merge them once I got it working when I started it originally? (if anyone wants to help try and break it, here's a version without perks or stats.)

[editline]22nd October 2014[/editline] (I am aware Agility is missing)
For the original Fallouts?
I think there must be some force of the universe that routinely stops me from actually completing the fallout 2 main quest. I've had three characters make it to like level 28-30 and every time something, either a game-breaking bug, a quest-essential character dying, needing to reformat my computer and forgetting to backup saves, etc has happened that stops me from actually getting to the enclave oil rig :suicide: Just happened again, badger died before I got fuel for the tanker ship and I have to scrap another level 29 character
No you don't Go have a chat with the Shi Emperor or the Hubologist dude next to the shuttle
Correction, I killed* badger for the glory of Lord Xenu so now important ship people are hostile Didn't work anyways because now the Huboligist questline is bugged so killing him was pointless, when hindsight is 20/20 at least. The ship captain shoots at me, so I'm not even sure if I can get the refueling/fob quests to go to the oil rig. I'm meta-gaming the quest objectives anyways to see if you can do the quests without the help of the ship captain.
For the original Fallouts?
For PnP.
apparently today marks the 64th nega-versary of the great war one of my course-mates thinks this means that something about fo4 is going to be released today me thinks someone's been taking too much jet

No need for metagaming! also why would you kill Badger he's a cool dude and the Hubologists are giant dicks, all they're good for is the +LCK scan in NCR [editline]23rd October 2014[/editline]
apparently today marks the 64th nega-versary of the great war one of my course-mates thinks this means that something about fo4 is going to be released today me thinks someone's been taking too much jet
please tell your friend to stop snorting cow poop it's not healthy

I love that my birthday is November 15, 1997 because that's the year that Fallout 1 released. Hopefully I can get an NCR hoodie or flag for my birthday.
