So I just remembered what you guys are usually talking about when it comes to AWOP when I walked into a basement consisting of a narrow room with 30 laser turrets and a stat buffed sentry bot in the middle, all of them taking a good 3-4 grenades to kill each The only entrance was a narrow staircase and it was impossible to do any damage without taking half your health in bullshit instant firing laser beams. Jesus fucking christ how does anyone playtest that and think "Yeah this is fine"?
there are a coupla mods that rebalance awop since the creator kinda dropped the ball
[t]http://oi58.tinypic.com/nuowo.jpg[/t] Jesus christ how horrifying. What in the FUCK is up with her eyes?
its a glitch with fco, i think theres a fix on the fco page but i dont know
Yeah, LR is my favorite I just loved they had to balls to give you an antagonist fueled by shit you did in your past, like he felt like a real antithesis to you, and all because you made a stupid mistake and completely destroyed a place
Lonesome Road spoilers, for those who may have not played it. The entire story to LR baffled me right up until the very goddamn end. I was clueless in each and every dialogue with Ulysses up until the moment where there was a dialogue option in the Temple or shortly before that almost exactly mirrored my thoughts - something along the lines of "Wait a minute, you're mad because I delivered a package without knowing what was inside/what it would do?" It was hilarious to me, in that moment, that I realized the Courier was going about his/her business all over the goddamn Mojave, fighting for the future of an entire region, you know - actually involved in shit, and here's this one guy who's got this colossal grudge because of the contents of a package the Courier dropped off. It was a total fucking "for me, it was Tuesday" moment.
Probably because it says "bethesda" when you start up the game. And on the title screen. And in the credits.
It also says Obsidian when you start up the game. Either before or after Bethesda, I forget which.
I kinda feel like the whole story arc in the DLCs could have served as the main plot to the game instead of the fight for controling the Mojave. There already are plenty of cross references, they just needed to be tied together better. I mean Ulysess is already established in the base game pretty much at the begginning. When I first heard about him I thought he would be some kind of important character later on, maybe some kind of nemesis, based on how how he was introduced.
Just as a disclaimer, I didn't think it was made by Bethesda. I guess I just wasn't paying close attention to that when I made the post.

Also I downloaded anime mods and tons of crap mods as a joke... And it's made me want to play again, makes it really fucking hilarious.
How... How would the sex even work.
Maybe it wasn't sex that made it, maybe it was being surrounded by 400 years of radiation and toxic spills and DNA being pulled apart like a kitten with a ball of yarn. also aliens. probably aliens.
Most likely Think Tank though.
Nah, probably the aliens.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ST1n7IS.jpg[/t] I remember someone complaining a lot about the fallout sawn off a while ago. But as you can see, its not that unreal.
Damn. Good work as always millenia.

Man Jinxed trait + Unarmed in classic is a fucking cruel playthrough. It takes a lot of work getting your character off the ground but it's just nasty once you get the ball rolling. Was just in a fight with some robbers. Guy takes a shot at me, misses and his gun flies out of his hand. He proceeds to run up to me, attempts to kick me and falls flat on his ass and cripples his leg. He gets up just in time for my turn, and I graft a mega power fist into his face with a 95% hit chance
well you see, modeling and animating is too hard so they went the lazy route
There is a video somewhere of fallout weapon animations But in super slo-mo. It's nothing short of appalling, honestly the reload for the lever action rifle looks like he's just molesting the end of the barrel.
it's terrible

A lot of the game's animations literally features you waving your hand around as the gun . . . does things. Luckily that's not as important as in straight FPS's, but still . . .
To be honest, even with the weapon animations being kinda sucky, I never really was able to notice it in my time playing the games. It's not really so blatant that you'll instantly notice it, especially when you're like me and are more interested in the environments and characters than your guns
I'd kill for a mod that completely redoes the first person weapon animations.
So here is that power armor footstep mod I mentioned a few pages back. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20736/? If there is a whole lot of ambient noise it might be a little hard to hear, but most of the time you can hear it. I didnt want it to be apparent all the time because then it would be annoying.
it's terrible
holy shit they didn't even bother to remove the bullets from the speedloader after loading the gun that flip up thing reloading for the laser pistol is neat tho
it's terrible
what the fuck the combat shotgun is bugged in the video.
it's terrible
Holy crap those are worse than I remember. All that clipping, all that wierd swaying to the edge of the screen when the realoding begins. I wish I had the skills to redo all of the fp animations.
Is there anybody else playing this glorious masterpiece?
what the fuck the combat shotgun is bugged in the video.
Yeah it has a lever-action rifle animation for some reason. Strange it wasn't pointed out in the video. And while on point, I think lever-action rifle is the only one I can say is a crime. Everything else is not noticeable ingame because of the speed, you have to intentionally try and look for this stuff. If only the fucking jerking that happens so persistently, but that happens with all animations on gamebryo. But the lever-action is just offensive with how bad its done, and it's long enough to notice. Also flamers. What is character even doing there? [editline]30th October 2014[/editline] Anyone knows of any good AI mods for FNV? The stupidity of AI is so glaring, and it's very strange that I never had this big of a problem with AI in Fallout 3. Maybe because human enemies are far more prevalent in FNV, I don't know.
Bethesda's always had poor animations, I think the main flaw is mostly they had to self teach themselves how to animate and model in a 3d environment, look at morrowind and oblivion. They didn't exactly have great animation skill either, it looked mostly like it was done by a college student. At least with Skyrim they've improved a by quite a lot in that department but there's still some typical Bethesda style shortcutting.
I think the main flaw is the lead animator failed animating class a shit ton of times.
