A playthrough of Fallout 3 took me roughly about 90 hours, doing as much as I could (side quests, unmarked quests, finding every location and exploring them, etc.), while in Fallout: New Vegas, it took me about 140 hours doing the same things hmmmm, I wonder who put more effort into their game
While I concur that FONV is a far better game, time spent doesn't mean much. I could be stuck at a really bullshit level in a terrible game, making it take forever, and finishing a masterpiece within a week.

I decided to rebuy fallout 1 because I haven't played it in years and its on sale. It's a lot easier than I remember it being, I cleared the Khan raider camp at the start and then I was able to kill everyone in junktown and now I have an endless supply of caps. I'm really hoping we hear about a new fallout game next year.
What are the most interesting and fun runs have you guys done before? I went through the game once as a completely nude guy with an erection that counts as armor. I used signature armor mod to give it special bonuses like invisibility and defense. It was a hard time through.
I have the urge to do another TTW run. Someone talk me down from this.
I have the urge to do another TTW run. Someone talk me down from this.
Why? Playing with TTW is so much more fun!

[editline]1st November 2014[/editline] And actually they had 18 months to develop the game
the Dong of Invisibility [+2 Defense] [Rare]
Oh, I had the body awareness mod too to remind me everytime I looked down.
Oh, I had the body awareness mod too to remind me everytime I looked down.
Then its obviously not doing a good job of being invisible now aint it
Then its obviously not doing a good job of being invisible now aint it
The dong might exude invisibility, not be invisible itself. His character could look like a disembodied floating cock for all we know.
Bethesda because they had to build the Fallout version of Gamebryo [...] from scratch
no they didn't, it's just a souped up version of Oblivion's engine.
no they didn't, it's just a souped up version of Oblivion's engine.
I think he meant art assets, like the models, textures, sound, GUI and such. Plus, a few new things like terminals, VATS, and such
Anybody here proficient setting up weapons with Nifskope and GECK? I modeled and textured a mad-max style Lupara sawed off shotgun if anybody wants to make a replacer mod with it I despise Nifskope and GECK so I absolutely refuse to do it :v:
no they didn't, it's just a souped up version of Oblivion's engine.
Which is called Gamebryo. So thanks to all of that souping up Bethesda did, Obsidian didn't have to. And don't say "just", the jump between Oblivion and Fallout 3 is huge by any definition.
whats that one mod that adds more enemies and also works with TTW? Also I'm looking for a good enb that works with TTW I'm also having infinite load times when I load a game from the main menu, but loading a quicksave then loading a regular save works fine. All i've read on the matter is that to solve it, one would have to reinstall ttw and I'm pretty sure that wont solve the problem.

They ported that one over in the coverted mods section of the TTW forum.

I really wish the Khans had more quests with the drug stuff.
Question, I'm reinstalling Tale of Two Wastelands, and I notice there's a checkbox for "sexy" what does that mean?
Question, I'm reinstalling Tale of Two Wastelands, and I notice there's a checkbox for "sexy" what does that mean?
it changes the start of the game so that doc mitchell is nude thats the only change
it changes the start of the game so that doc mitchell is nude thats the only change
Please tell me this is true. I had a mod once that changed Doc Mitchell's house name to "Maison Du Mitchell" or something like that. I just want Doc Mitchell in a dress, or something equally beautiful. To perfectly match up his house name.
I'm doc mitchell, welcome to goodsprings *massive boner*
Why don't you have a seat on my couch.....

It's not like I expect to find a family history of you getting shot in the head [editline]3rd November 2014[/editline] time to change the intro cinematic to a money shot
