The whole goal was to make it fire one grenade though? You would just have the weapon take the ammo list of a 25mm grenade launcher, not regular shotguns so the whole pellets thing shouldn't be a problem with standard shells since you wouldn't be using standard shells.
Also I assumed he was creating a new weapon instead of modifying the regular sawed off shotgun which would be even worse than just modifying the ammo.
Should I feel ashamed that I only just now figured out how the hell to play caravan?

Not really because there's better payouts from the actual Vegas games.
Caravan was just too confusing to understand, plus you don't get a whole lot of money out of it.
Just get 10 luck and play Blackjack alot.
It's actually kinda fun once you figure out how it works, I kinda wish I had before cuz that would have solved my money problems the first time I played it
But yeah I know Vegas pays more, just felt good to learn how the actual original card game was played

You'll never say "I don't have enough".
I've never said "I don't have enough". I get around 8,000-16,000 by the end of the game and it never runs low.
So now, I'm crashing about five minutes into my gaming sessions. Am I officially part of the PC New Vegas club?

I believe the idea was to have a shotgun that can fire both grenades and shotgun shells. In which case modifying the base weapon is not enough.

You could probably make a script that changes weapon properties upon on loading of a certain ammunition. I'll have to check since I don't know many functions off the top of my head but it might be possible.
So can someone help me figure out whats going on? I seem to be crashing about a couple of minutes into gameplay. Specifly after combat starts. I was fighting some insects from the Monster mod, but I had it before the crashes, installed Roberts Body mod and Type 3 body for the Spice of Life mod recently, do you think that's causing it?

Also the Bozar. When I was buying it, I've sold all the decent loot I've found in Vault 3 and I still had to pay 4000 caps (it wasn't really an issue though since I had 65000 caps on me).

8,000 is the amount the gun runners have by default.

Use the FNV4GB tool from the Nexus, I had the same problem and using that fixed it for me.

UPDATE, so for some reason the top right corner of the map is the cause of it. I spawned there and couldn't last long, so i started a new game this time in Freeside and i got into about 3 gunfights already and nothing has happened.

Just make a new ammolist, add the types of grenades and shotgun ammo you want in the list, then make the weapon use that certain ammolist. Maybe there's a projectile list function as well,been a while since I've modded. If none of this seems to work, take a look at the slug ammo and see how that's done (you might need GRA for this)

Never use that barter or speech check when you meet him.
Also, any trick I've used to get Dead Money [sp]gold[/sp] never worked, even if I followed it to the letter.

the armory adds a sawn off antique shotgun or something like that at the gun runners

I mean make a script to avoid the problems Overwatch mentioned. A script that when a 25mm grenade is loaded, makes the gun only fire one grenade instead of 7, but when loaded with shells, goes back to its original state and fires the pellets off regularly.

Every time I go there, the force field somehow turns on every time on the same spot, so I took the long way. Pretty difficult, because there is a break on the stairs, so you have to drop 16000 WT of gold so you can jump on to the stairs.
I've literally just finished Dead Money 10 minutes ago for the first time. I've ended up killing Elijah (I couldn't sneak past him for some reason) and and used the set carryweight thing so I could carry all the gold out.
