tbh I never really like the dungeons in Bethesda games unless they were big base raids like Paradise Falls or Primm.
I wish there were more voice lines honestly. Sneaking around and hearing the same damned thing is annoying. Makes stealth sort of annoying when you also hear the same thing over and over by some npcs. Makes me regret having Cass, every powder ganger is like "I BET SHE AIMS FOR THE SACK".
Well, if anything, the World of Pain mod adds a lot of places to the Mojave, lot's of dungeons and stuff too, some new items and enemies too (I think?)
Yea, world of pain is great. Really neat mod, and I wish there were other mods with the same caliber of content.
Well then, I found what I am doing for my next run
Go full strength, 1 intelligence. Punch everything to death.
I'm not making any promises I'll tackle these at all, or any time soon; but our little discussion here about dungeons and locations is making me curious. What kind of dungeons and locations did you guys want to see in New Vegas? I personally wanted to see more small stores, markets, maybe a bank or two.

I know people hated the metros in Fallout 3, but having a similar set of tunnels that isn't required for travel but makes an excellent shortcut for high level players would be great. Some more above-ground dungeon type areas would be excellent as well, kind of like the majority of Lonesome Road, and definitely more building dungeons.
Yeah overground fort like areas make the best dungeons ie: raiding the NCR Correctional Facility
Go full strength, 1 intelligence. Punch everything to death.
strength and luck

Y would have thought that was top of their list of things to make, sentry guns are not the same.
melee is so overpowered and fun [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/543012157719501171/B7F799EE6A718A0A6EB11BFB7D3190BA56ACEE58/[/t] [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/543012157721008597/D4C8CBD676F718CC41F8DE043F655371125E81FD/[/t] [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/543011958269147094/DBA03E52CF0C1E1BAB9D4A1277F96D91C1AFB409/[/t]

Definity more urban-style dungeons, NV kinda lacked those
Towns like Bonnie Springs, abandoned broken down towns or settlements taken over by raiders or Legion.

with my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. eyes
alright, finished dead money that was meh. kind of a slap in the face dlc. also, i modded the gold's weight so i could take it all :D, was pretty neat [sp]getting to blast elijah's head off with the hunting shotgun point-blank, but i didn't make it out of the vault in time so i had to do it again and the second time had a shootout with the police pistol.[/sp]
Go full strength, 1 intelligence. Punch everything to death.
i did this with a super mutant mod that makes you tanky and big and shit I just ran around punching every fucking thing I saw. I never chose a side or did any quest either. I just punched anyone who tried to talk to me, made the game a lot more exciting. [editline]6th December 2014[/editline]
Abandoned casinos, maybe? Something like that would be cool as shit. The Bison Steve Hotel felt cool as shit to explore, wish they expanded on more dungeons like that.

The amount of times I died trying to get out with all that gold without cheating the first time I played it. Just had to give it up and it was so hard, that dlc had good writing. Also I looted this in WoW the other day, made me chuckle http://www.wowhead.com/item=118679#dropped-by
Man, dead money really fucks you if you're an energy weapons user. Like seriously, there's an impossibly small volume of MF ammunition in the DLC, and the holorifle lacks the critical damage factor than the police pistol has so ghost people just absorb the hits Guns? Here's a mid-tier revolver with face-melting critical hits, and more .357 than you could ever possibly use. Energy Weapons? Eat shit and die, nerd
I always just cheat more MF if I play Dead Money with an energy weapons character. I know the DLC is about scavenging and shit, but how do you scavenge something that doesn't exist? Iirc, there aren't even many Fission Batteries that you can turn into ammo. Last time I played, though, I started leveling unarmed instead. Turning Ghost People into mush with a Bear trap fist is quite fun.
Cheating in shit on subsequent playthroughs is alright, since you've already played the DLC the way it was intended.
Cheating in shit on subsequent playthroughs is alright, since you've already played the DLC the way it was intended.
Except that he hasn't played it before.
can someone explain how to fix my constant OWB crashes? i tried to delete the dlc and get it to reinstall but that didnt seem to work, im not using any mods at the moment either.
can someone explain how to fix my constant OWB crashes? i tried to delete the dlc and get it to reinstall but that didnt seem to work, im not using any mods at the moment either.
I think I got this problem once. Had to just wait for 24-48 hours or something. I think some sort of behind the scenes AI pathing or out of cell buffer gets messed up sometimes, and waiting around for a long period of time fixes it most of the time.
Except that he hasn't played it before.
no fucks were given and none shall ever be given it wasn't that great of a dlc, and i couldn't have cared less for anything going on, but now i will decorate my lucky 38 suite with gold. i do enjoy how these dlcs have characters who tie together. that's another thing that annoyed me about dead money, like [sp]elijah was dead, why the hell would christine stay, knowing her mission was accomplished if the sierra madre was now a waste of space? it would be neat to have her as a follower in the mojave.[/sp] that being said i am now looking forward to honest hearts and the lonesome road. speaking of, which should i do first? [editline]6th December 2014[/editline]
you completely missed the point of the dlc and in a shameful way at that, at least get a stealth boy and turbo implant [editline]6th December 2014[/editline] without modifying carryweight
so that's what turbo is for? i've had one all this time and haven't thought of using it
