1. Close Steam 2. Open SteamApps Folder 3. Edit appmanifest_[gameid].acf 4. Delete whole "MountedDepots" config part 5. Start Steam. It will validate the game and create corrected MountedDepots config Accordingly to the people in this steamthread -> http://steamcommunity.com/app/219640/discussions/0/34094415728654123/#p1 Those are the steps to fix invalid deposits.
Thanks, but I couldn't find the appmanifest file for NV (game id 22380, which was nowhere to be found); ended up fixing it with steam://flushconfig
They should just remake FO2 with a new engine. Just give me the temple, vault city, the tanker and New Reno in 3D please
Arrgh, i want diagonal running animations in the fallout games.. Its so weird that no one has made a mod for this yet.
Because it's impossible without major scriptlag. Modding in bethesda games is not the end-all be-all that it's made out to be. You cannot do a lot of things with modding, but people can find hacky ways around it.
I kind of like Fallout 3 in the sense that it feels more complete. In New vegas, there are a lot of things that feel unfinished (like the entire Legion questline), not to mention there isn't even an objectively good ending because all of them are bad. I wanna make EVERYONE happy, dammit!
I need some ideas on what to fill a empty room thats 512x256. It's in a basement which is meant to be a man cave. As soon as thats figured out I'm one step closer to releasing my freeside player home on nexus mods. Room is on the bottom left. How you wish NV to turn out is the way you think it should turn out, what you think is right.
You need NVSE for scripts and your dlcs must be in the correct order based on release date. Example; [t]http://i.imgur.com/p7Hc8UT.png[/t] You can sort all your fallout new vegas items from your personal computer in your bedroom. The roof features a garden it takes anywhere from 7-14 ingame days for stuff to grow. The Nuka Cola vending machine can transform your nuka cola into Ice Cold Nuka Cola. Food and Drinks is stored in the fridge, Alcohol in the basement liquor cabinet, Medical in the bathroom, Clothing & Armor in the bedroom lockers, Weapons in the hallway lockers, Ammo in the hallway ammo containers, and Misc object in the 2nd floor extra room in the left most container. Flags and banner are displayed based on fame. Objects on the basement shelf are displayed based on fame or if that character died ie 2nd shelf from the top. All containers are safe and don't respawn. The entire place is navmeshed and it's recommended that you have less than 3 followers. If you have an suggestions or bug fixes PM me(Aide) on facepunch. when you sort stuff like apparel and weapons, does it take your equipped stuff as well? It happens with one or two other player house mods i've seen with sorting and it's a little annoying. otherwise that looks absolutely amazing, a basic playerhome that would really fit with anyone's character, lore-friendly etc.

So no message spam about the items being taken. The reason why I don't check to see if the item is equipped is because gamebyro scripting has a character limit. I've hit it with clothing and armor so I had to spread it across 2 files. However with NVSE I've been looking into creating an array and then just looping the array. Which would solve this issue. Also I uploaded it to nexus mods.
Anyone have that giant compilation of weapons for Fallout: New Vegas? I forget the name of it but it was like "____'s Armory" or something

My experience so far with Fallout 2: I went to the Den and tried to kill Flick because he apperently got some nice loot if you manage kill him. So I went to his place and initiated combat, eventually making a critical hit on him and he well... fled for his life. When he fled he ran all the way up to Becky's for some odd reason. Instead of risking my whole progress I decided to quit combat and run away to east side of Den and wait for some time. Waited for 2 days and then went back into western Den. I managed to acquire a gun from a dead trapper earlier in the game and decided to try and use it on Flick. Flick, being the dick he is, runs out on the street and approach me. I shoot him, and somefucking how manage to hit a kid that was not even close to him. This made all of Den go apeshit and hate me. And now, I am hated in all of Den thanks to Flick.
Should have used the .223 pistol, you can bet he wouldn't get up after being shot by that
Can anyone tell me, I want to buy the DLC for Fallout NV since I've never owned or experienced any of it. What's my best option, do I really have to buy the Ultimate edition despite owning the game?
the dlcs are honestly some of the best i've ever seen for a game. Dead Money is incredibly atmospheric for a bethesda game, Old World Blues is full of charm and entertaining and Lonesome Road feels like the epic conclusion to your courier's story. Honest Hearts was a bit lacking I guess, but by god the Zion Canyon is beautiful. They all tie into each other too. Basically, you should really buy all four of the quest DLCs. if buying the four quest dlcs but not the GRA/Couriers stash is cheaper than the ultimate edition (which it never is) then go for that option. GRA and Couriers Stash you can really do without, but since the ultimate edition is cheaper than the four dlcs it's a nice bonus nonetheless.
idk man, dead money was meh, old world blues was annoying but i got some neat items from it, and i'm at the point in honest hearts where [sp]i have to either get the people to leave the valley or kill all the white legs and i'm not sure which to pick, i like both daniel's and joshua's outfits.[/sp] i just hope lonesome road picks up, because the only neat shit so far is the underlying storyline that the other courier has been to these places before you visited them.

Although I'm not a fan of how they nerfed the nuka grenades compared to 3.
With the multitude of OP explosives in GRA it's probably just fine With that said, explosives was sort of underpowered in a few ways so I guess they balanced it out with guns. The MF grenades (high abundance), fat mines, high yield time bombs, etc are pretty devastating when used to good effect. The Nuka Grenade was sort of a silly concept anyways, it was one of those silly and savagely overpowered things in Fallout 3, probably best that they toned it down a bit.

I'm not entirely sure your views are really valid.
Yeah but you were the guy who modded carryweight to take all the gold out and miss the entire point of Dead Money. I'm not entirely sure your views are really valid.
Dead Money was still pretty bad. It felt much too linear.
Dead Money was still pretty bad. yeah but the collar made you be more aware of your surroundings
yeah but the collar made you be more aware of your surroundings
It made me aware of my surroundings in a really shitty way though, frantically looking around going "SHIT SHIT WHERE'S THE RADIO" isn't very fun or interesting

Spent a while wondering why my head kept randomly exploding in the police station until I spoke to dog.
